Lisa is so helpful attentive whilst booking and during your stay.

Superbly located for hiking, canoeing, coastal trips, castles, tourism and sight seeing.

Local shops (including Spar mini-market and the beer helpful team in Joe Brown’s), plus assorted eateries and pubs etc.

Straight of the door onto Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon, Llyn Peris & Llyn (Lake) Padarn, Dol Padarn Castell, the mystical Celtic temperate rain forests, the Tolkien-esque old slate quarries, and the fantastic caverns and caves.

Resided here for just one night but made for a perfect stay in Llanberis. Great value, clean, spacious and nicely appointed. A great drying room for kit in the garden and very well kitted out self catering kitchen too. Look no further if a stay in a SC guesthouse is what you're after. Perfect 👌

Great find on Google and i will absolutely stay here again. Lisa called me beforehand to know when i would be arriving and to give the relevant information about checking in, room info etc and answered questions I had. I booked a single room for 2 nights which which was spotless and very comfortable. Definitely had a home from home feel. Shared bathroom and toilets were also spotless. I had the best nights sleep in ages.
Fantastic location for Snowdon Mountain Railway and the Llanberis route. Couple minutes walk to local spar, restaurants, cafes, pubs. Padarn Lake also close.

A perfect stay at Dol Peris.
We came for a weekend away as a group of 9 friends spread across 3 en-suite bedrooms.
The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean, and the rooms were spacious. (Rooms 5, 8 & 10).

The kitchen is well equipped, and plenty of space to eat in the dining room or the garden.
We enjoyed finishing the evenings by lighting the fire in the wood burner that had been cleaned and reset for us each day.

The house is situated central in Llanberis with a 2 minute walk down to the lake and next door to a good sized Spar which had everything you need for a weekend away.

We ate at Spice of Llanberis which was very good, and Pete’s Eats pizzas which were also very good.

A warm evening with a couple of beers down by the lake looking up at the mountains were ideal.

The guest house is run by Lisa, and her communication was excellent. We had everything we needed and good information before travelling.

I would highly recommend.

Fantastic accommodation, nice, very cosy, spotlessly clean and great support from Lisa and Phill. My wife and I managed to get 3 days free in mid November and we were keen to get a Snowdon walk in before the end of the year. We chose the Dol Peris on a recommendation. In short, it all worked for us. The self catering arrangements (if you choose to use ) worked well, room was very comfy and really clean. We needed to use the drying room and this was no problem. All the other guests we met had similar thoughts and it all helped to create a great atmosphere during our stay. The Dol Peris makes a great base to explore the area and the bonus for me (i travel in my job) was the large private car park at the front so no parking in the street needed. We are looking forward to revisiting Llanberis in the warmer spring months and Yes we will look to stay at the 'DOL' again Hope this review helps others .. rgds Laurence and Judith --Chepstow

We stopped here for a couple of nights on our way to the summit of Snowdon. Lisa welcomed me and explained all the basic rules and showed me where things were. We were very impressed with the quality of the rooms (also because of the free upgrade we got) and slept very well, these were the most comfortable beds we slept in days which was essential particularly after trekking. We left with a couple of complementary tomato plants that we're now nurturing in our back garden.

We had a great stay at Dol Peris. Lisa was so friendly and gave us lots of advice about the local area and walks we could do, she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The guest house itself was spotless, and excellent value for money. The kitchen facilities were fantastic, and lighting the log fire every night was a nice touch. I highly recommend staying at Dol Peris.

We've stayed for 9 days. Wish we could have stayed much, much, longer.

Excellent place to stay. Perfect location for hiking. Comfortable beds, nice rooms but very small showers. Big communal kitchen, dining and sitting rooms. Free teas and coffee.

Fabulous accommodation, great location for those keen to explore the Snowdon region. Owners have a wealth of knowledge and are always happy to help. The shared kitchen is spotless and cleverly organised for individuals or groups. Highly recommended.

A really homely, clean and comfortable self-catering guesthouse, run by a lovely couple who know Snowdonia like the back of their hands. Very good value too – just a fraction more for a private room and fully-featured kitchen than a dorm bunk down the road with nothing but a kettle! I'll be back here next time I'm in Llanberis and I'll happily recommend Dol Peris to anyone looking for self-catering accommodation. The log-burner at the end of a damp day in the hills is the icing on the cake!

Nice self catering guest house, linked with Phil George mountaineering which runs excellent courses including mountain leader training and assessment. Drying room, decent sized lounge and more than adequate cooking facilities. Situated in Llanberis just a stones throw from Snowdon and an ideal base to explore Snowdonia

Self catering makes this place stand out for a longish family stay. It also benefits from a neighbouring good convenience store. If you fancy a walk after meal, or a picnic outdoor, a lake is literally next door. Lisa is a helpful host in case you need any help.

Perfect for a walking getaway or just a chilled night in Llanberis. I love that it’s self-catering and the rooms are all so clean, neat and characterful! It’s so easy to book - Lisa is lovely and will always try to fit you in. A must if you’re planning on staying in Llanberis
