Wonderful views and a good walk around with some historical building still just about standing. What I liked the most they have information boards next to some of the old building explaining what use to happen many years ago!

Amazing walk from start to end, took us 30 min one way, every step you take you are mesmerised by the views.
You can see distantly the mountains and at the end of the walk we have seen the most Lord of the Rings alike scenery. Breathtaking.

Located in the Quay you are treated to snowdon in its full majesty as well as Llanberis and the massive Quary itself. There is seating here. You can get to here from many directions if coming from Llanberis you will have about 200m elevation gain.

This is a great place to explore. On the way up there's loads of history, abandoned little miners villages and cottages, the mine carts and stations where they pulled the carts up and down the mountain, it's an amazing place that gives you a real feel for the old Wales and the lives led by the miners. It's a beautiful place with beautiful views of Llyn Padarn and surrounding mountains.

Over the past few months I’ve spend a lot of time in llanberis and snowdonia, it’s my favourite place in wales with lots to do and see, from the old slate mine and old quarry’s and even an abandoned ammo facility all within a short walk of llanberis centre

Stunning location with great views of the Llanberis pass and onto Snowdon. Great views of Llyn Padarn too. Explored the slate quarry’s of Denorwig. Some amazing vistas even know it’s an abandoned quarry. Simply breathtaking what people did back then. Some spectacular structures left to nature to take back.

Most people heading for Parc Padarn will end up by the lake (Llyn Padarn), but here's a different view (literally). You can access the country park from Minnffordd (search Google maps for 'Dinorwig Bus Teminal' - or catch the S2 bus there). There are a couple of paths you can take, and one of them goes to the viewpoint overlooking the lake. This is a level walk. If you keep a look out on the way there you may see the mountain goats. If you want a longer walk there are paths across the slate quarry beyond, which is a popular area with rock climbers.

One of the best walks so far this year. Great views on every single step. A bit of steep walks, but 100% worth every single step. Loads of history there.

Amazing views. We walked from brynefail for an hour to the viewpoint and then down to the barracks halfway down, continuing down through the quarry which is not a clear route on Google maps. It's ends up down near the slate museum.
