The Lapstone - Public House in Fair Oak

Really Nice pie steak was so tender just melts in your mouth and Never seen Mash in a side dish but was nice. Staff was Really friendly and welcoming especially the Girls. Mu uncle Ribs Looks great and has nice bit to it. Recommend the pizza as Looks fresh and nice Dough to it would happy to come again.

This pub has a bit of everything. The pizza is delicious and the menu broad and balanced. There are delightful ice creams and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. It has a rear bar suitable for functions and a cosy front bar with dining.

The all weather dining-domes outside are about the only good thing to come out of the pandemic!

The staff are very welcoming and accommodating.

I highly recommend stopping by or considering the venue for group bookings and events too.

My favourite pub... Just wish it was walking distance from my house ;-)

We held my dads 70th birthday do in the Lapstone a few weeks ago and it’s was fabulous! In the words of the man himself, it was exactly what he wished for and more! The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating . The food was fabulous, (as always). The cocktail trees went down a storm! We had family coming from across the country and they all loved it. How lucky we are to have this wonderful pub in our area.

We recently had our 2 daughter's christening here and what I can I say other than WOW. Everything was excellent. The hot buffet was delicious and catered absolutely everyone. They also did us a sweetie cart and we had the option of ice cream on the day. The staff were brilliant and provided excellent service. The room looked absolutely beautiful when we arrived. Would thoroughly recommend for any event or lunch/dinner with friends and family.

I had a great visit to the hub, they offer so many things to do for people of all ages. I really enjoyed how important the community is for the lapstone and the welcoming atmosphere is above and beyond. Great pizza oven, and recently fire works display. Children and dog friendly.

This place is spot on. The food , atmosphere and the people are excellent. I would definitely visit again.

Our night out at The Lapstone was brilliant. It's been really beautifully done, both inside and out. We had booked a table and I'm very glad we did because it got very busy! And no wonder because this pub is great! We had a bottle of the viognier which was delicious and well priced. We then had calamari to share. I then had a pizza and my partner had the gammon. All of the food was outstanding. And, I must say despite the fact that it was Saturday night, every table was filled and a party was on, the waiting staff were amazing! Everything was so fast and they were so lovely to boot! We also had a slice of cheesecake each for pudding which was also great. We finished off with a tree of cocktails which were beautifully presented, delicious and great value. We will 100% visit The Lapstone again! The owners and staff have made this pub a fabulous asset to the local community.

Although I live local to this place I had never been in it. My friend and I were desperate for a coffee after late night shopping and we went in there to see what it was like. I didn't realize it was a coffee and pizza hub as well as a pub. What a wonderful place. I will definitely be using it in future as my coffee go too. And will definitely be trying out their pizzas soon. Well done Lapstone I wish more pubs were like you.

Had a couple of drinks in this wonderful pub. Staff were all lovely and the pub has a very nice local atmosphere.

We were recommended this pub over a closer one and I'm glad we came! It would've been nice to be there earlier because it was obviously very popular and it was a little hard to find a parking space because we were in the middle of the lunch rush. The staff were really friendly, the cider was lovely and the food was very tasty and filling. There was a minor mistake with one of the dishes but it was rectified quickly and very satisfactorily. We were there for lunch but the dinner menu looks very interesting and we definitely want to return to try that out! The domes in the garden look like they would be great for parties, evening dining and having a bit of peace in an otherwise busy environment.

We all had roast dinners yesterday, and the entire table was happy with their food.

The pud is really cosy and staff are very friendly!

They are also set up well for kids dining. When we arrived the highchair was set up, child friendly cutlery too

We were lucky enough to hire a pod for the evening to enable us to discuss an upcoming wedding. It was a great setting, allowing us to watch the animals too, including a gorgeous donkey! The food and drink were good, great range of pizza, including gluten free. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, fun and polite. Will definitely return.

Had my wife's 50th here last Friday in the marquee, On the run up all the staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, Have to say what a great time had by all we had around 60 guests, The food went down really well and because of the great community support the atmosphere was excellent and once our Dj finished our friends joined in the main bar and continued to have a blast, The next day Marco ( head chef )spent a bit of time chatting to us, All in all a great experience, keep up the good work and many thanks for helping making the evening a memorable event 👍👍👍

Nice atmosphere. The smoked salmon pizza was excellent and my friends enjoyed their pizzas too. Good value because we were there before 6pm so had them on the 2 for 1 offer.

We had my mum's wake here, the room and atmosphere was lovely and intimate with dimed lighting and fairy lights. The buffet was plentiful and delicious. The staff were friendly, respectful and really efficient.

We went on a Thursday evening for food and quiz night. Pizza and burgers were delicious. Reasonable price. Good selection of drinks. Quiz great fun! Make sure you book for the quiz. Great staff.

We ate here as a family (2 adults, 3 children). The kids were tired and hungry, but were captivated by the ambience of the restaurant. We ordered wood fired pizzas, which were very generous in portion size and so delicious! We also enjoyed the home-made gelato. Service was warm and friendly, we felt very welcome. Overall, one of the best pizzas we’ve eaten and such a gem of a place. Highly recommend!

Ist time back at the Lapstone after refirb & COVID lockdown. A Ladies that lunch for 4, the food was very tempting & great atmosphere. I went for 3 bowls for £15 & a Salad the Arciconis were delicious with dipping sauces scrumpy. Recommended by my daughter who says Sunday Roast is best in the area.

First ever visit to The Lapstone Public House by myself and my daughter and, it certainly won't be our last. Superb food, superb service, superb atmosphere but, above all, Gerald (our very friendly staffie) was made most welcome
