I enjoyed three nights bed and breakfast at Middle Woodbatch Farm. My experience reflects that of other reviewers - a comfortable room, fantastic breakfasts, and Mary and Steve were so welcoming and friendly. For a walker, the farm is right on the Shropshire Way, which itself leads to the Offa's Dyke path and then the Kerry Ridgeway for a good circular route. Stiperstones, Long Mynd etc are a short drive away. Highly recommended.

We loved it here. The farm is up a little hill so you get stunning views from the campsite. The facilities were great, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle available for use by campers. Also a clean and well-maintained toilet/shower block. The sky at night is fabulously starry and you can sit cosy by your fire pit appreciating it all. Thoroughly recommended!

I stayed at Middle Woodbatch farm campsite for 3 days in July. The campsite has amazing views over the South Shropshire hills. The campsite is a lovely place to come if you want to chill and relax. The facilities are excellent, lovely showers and clean toilets. Plenty for the size of the campsite. There is also a fridge, kettle, microwave, and toaster in the kitchen area which is available for campers to use. There is a nice 30 minute walk along a very quiet country lane from the farm to the town of Bishops Castle. The town is very pretty with a small Co-op supermarket and plenty of nice places to eat. The camping field is on a slight slope which is to be expected when you are in the Shropshire hills but other than that I could not fault the campsite. It was £9 per adult and is the best £27 I have ever spent!

We stayed for two nights B&B at this very friendly family business. Mary was a superb hostess, extremely welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food with plenty of choice. Cleanliness and comfort first class. Lovely rural location.

Quite a nice and well cared for campsite on a farm. The owners are friendly and helpful. The campsite is a small field on a slope, however there are some level parts at the top and bottom of the field which are fine for camping.

When you drive to the site there is a long and bumpy road which gets increasingly bumpy; don't bring a low car such as a sports car as it will surely get beached.

There is a small building attached to the campsite which contains a toilet and shower block complete with a hand dryer and a hair dryer (however if you want to use it, you have to insert 20p, so bear that in mind if you intend to use it and don't usually carry small change with you). There is also thoughtfully supplied hand soap for your convenience. Also in the building is a small kitchen with three sinks, a small amount of washing up liquid, and a kettle, toaster and microwave. Also there is a large fridge freezer and another smaller fridge.

The views from the site are very good, and you can see for miles around. Of course, the site is in an agricultural area so there is often some noise from farming equipment, but nothing overly disturbing.

You can purchase bags of wood for £3 from the owner for use with the supplied fire bowls, and also you can order breakfast from the owners.

There are lots of footpaths and bridleways surrounding the area if you are interested in this, however a lot of the routes aren't clearly marked or particularly well cared for, for example there was a bridleway which had a locked gate which you have to climb over which is a bit annoying if you were to have a dog or horse.

The area is fairly rural and as such there are no supermarkets in a reasonable area, so bring as much as you will need for the duration of your stay.

Incredible camping, beautiful clean toilets and shower block. Really, really friendly, can have breakfast for under a fiver for a large amount of food if you book the day before and evening meals too, veggie or otherwise. Really accommodating. Fire wood us £3 per bag and lasts around two nights and is dry so it doesn't smoke too much!

Overall a beautiful experience here and we will definitely be back. The track down to the farm is a long way down and single lane, ideally done in a four by four but our old zafira coped well. Cows in the field one side, sheep and a horse in the other with chickens by the shower block. Quite a few kids on the site when we went, no play area but kids seemed really happy. We chose this site to sit and have quality time husband and wife away from all the rushing around from our busy work lives to sit and watch the stars. We were not disappointed, there were thousands of stars and lots of shooting stars to see, lots of animal sounds at night to to sit and listen to. Perfect relaxation, perfect site, great atmosphere and we highly recommend this site.

Really lovely rural location in a working farm. All you can see for miles are trees, land or livestock. Very warm welcome and a delicious breakfast with comfortable and well equipped rooms. I cannot wait to book a return visit.

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of staying here recently and throughly loved it. The service was fantastic and the place is located in the stunning Shropshire hills. We stayed in the glamping pod which is among the best I have seen, from the bed you can see out onto the sweeping vista and the pod also has a porch with a wooden bench, seating area and BBQ. All this is spectular value.

In the morning we had a hearty full English breakfast and then only a 10 minute drive into Bishops Castle. The place is also located near a number of other tourist attractions. If you like walking Linley Beeches is beautiful and driving to Church Stretton and to the Long Mynd is an absolute must!

The site itself also has a beatiful circular walk through the countryside and wooded area and if you're into wildlife Red Kites are easily spotted. The site also has great toilet facilities with warm push to start showers which are free to use, a kitchen area with a microwave, fridge and sink and free wi-fi.

I don't really have anything negative to say, this is a working farm so there are typical farm noises and smells. There are sheep, chicken and cows and two lovley horses called Merlin and Sam.

The route to the campsite can be tight and is mostly single track but we chose this site over others due to it being a little bit further out and a little bit quieter. We were not disapointed at all and are already planning of going back.

We did a 2 night BnB stay with horses. And Mary is still the hostest with the mostest. They are a lovely family, so welcoming. This is our 2nd visit & we will be back. Fabulous & spotless rooms, fabulous breakfast, wonderful host. Highly recommend.

We've just had 2 nights here and I have to say, it was pretty amazing! For the price it was FANTASTIC VALUE. We chose here as we wanted to do some walking in the area. The farm itself is part of the Shropshire Way walk and there are many walks directly from the farm.
Toilets and Showers were open as was the kitchen block. The shower/toilet blocks was the best we've ever seen on a campsite! It's mixed gender, 3 big roomy shower cubicle 3 toilet cubicles and 1 accessible toilet/shower. To say these were SPOTLESS is an understatement! The kitchen area, 3 sinks, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer! Outstanding!
The site is attached to a working farm but we didn't experience any noise or disruption. Cows & sheep grazing in the fields and hens round the corner! The field is on a slight slope but is quite even. Fire pits are provided to use for free, you can buy wood etc from them. We couldn't fault the place, we bought some eggs £2 half dozen and they were delicious!
On this trip, we chose to stay in thier camping Pod, it was £50/night. King size bed, lights, bedding, towels, kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate! Big built in BBQ, Massive deck, comfy chairs and table, big bench. Absolutely Amazing! Already looking to go back, next time we'll probably camp but the Pod was a lovely change, especially as we had lots of rain!!

My partner and I booked the glamping pod last minute for his birthday. It was a great find and great price! There’s loads of walks you can do in the area and it’s beautiful scenery. The host was great and so was the breakfast. Would go again.

We camped here one night a couple of weeks ago. Great camping experience. Bathroom facilities excellent - they've gone well beyond basic - these felt comfortable, modern, draught-free, and were very clean. Also a good kitchen set-up for a camp ground, with fridge, microwave, kettle, as well as sinks. Nice views over fields and trees for miles from the campsite. Working farm in real rural area, and there were sheep and a horse in neighbouring field. Also good that it's a small campground, with a maximum 10 tents - the field is big enough that even at max capacity it wouldn't feel crammed-in. It is on a slope, but there are flatter areas at top and bottom of the slope, enough for 10 tents to pitch comfortably. We'd come back again if we were in the area.

Made to feel really welcome by the owners, lovely breakfast on our first morning, with plenty of choice. Large comfortable bed in large room, with modern ensuite bathroom. Small reading room on our level and nice room downstairs as a lounge.

It is always a lovely place to visit, beautiful campsite with unrivalled views, spotless, ample facilities including a small kitchen with microwave, kettle, fridge and freezer plus fire pits. Each pitch has plenty of space. I could quite easily spend every summer weekend here.

Very tranquil greenfield camping; low capacity, plenty of space with a clean shower block. They will also cook you a full breakfast if ordered in advance. Yummy!
