The White Horse Inn, Clun

Myself and eight friends stayed 2 nights at this lovely inn. It was friendly, the beer and food was very good as was the accommodation. I was especially pleased with the thought that had gone into the rooms, eg ear plugs and flannels are provided. Lots of hot water and warm/hot radiators.
Highly recommended.

We did the Groupon 2 nights B&B, steak dinner for 2 and bottle of wine. Absolutely fabulous deal. Steak dinner and breakfast delicious, Jack and all staff helpful, friendly and accommodating. Parked right outside the pub both nights. We had food at the pub on the second night too. Homemade fishcakes and steak and kidney pudding. Again all delicious. We will definitely be back.

Start to finish exactly what a professionally run proper pub should be and the experience has renewed my faith I'm descent pubs. Had done a challenging hike and arrived 2 minutes before food service was ending, Landlord Jack was great allowed us to order food regardless and kept the kitchen open. We had some exceptionally well kept beer and amazing food and all I can say is I wish I had a place like this locally to me.

Excellent 2 night stay, we received a warm welcome from the owner Jack & his lovely staff. The room was clean & warm & both the breakfasts & evening meals were delicious, great location with lovely walks straight from the village, what more can I say.

Stopped for Sunday lunch and was blown away with the gluten free options, I even got a gf Yorkshire pudding! 3 Choices of gluten free beer and to top it off gluten free desert options. I can vouch for the Sticky Toffee pudding! Brilliant meal, great price, good friendly service and cosy atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back.

I had a great impromptu stay at The White Horse while travelling in bad weather. Jack and team were super welcoming, and I had a great night's sleep in a lovely, warm room. Top marks for delicious vegan options too!

Lovely pub right in the middle of the village. They serve locally brewed beer, and the food is superb. Friendly staff too.

The White Horse is the perfect getaway. The beer is spot on, the food is fantastic and the rooms are spotless and perfect for everyone. The shower in our room was better than the one at home! There was even a box for the dog with a bed, towel, fork for her food and even food bowls.
The staff are lovely and Jack the owner made us feel totally at home. The breakfast is the best anywhere, and I had the best steak I’d ever had, no steak knife needed although they did provide one.

We had the pleasure of stumbling upon this fantastic pub while staying at a cabin a few miles away.
We grabbed a meal while starving and it was superb!
We were so impressed we booked in for sunday lunch, which was just lovely.

The staff could not be more friendly. The girls serving were so polite.

2 of our party left this morning hoping to grab a breakfast before the long drive back to liverpool. The local cafe was closed so they again went to the brilliant White Horse, that served them aparantly another delightful plate of food for the 3rd day in a row! 👏🤣

Could not fault this place, or recommend it enough!

This is a great pub, which we've stayed at a few times. Jack, Hannah and the staff always make us feel very welcome, as do the regulars.

The food and the award winning ales are top drawer and the accommodation is very nice with everything you need.

A real hidden gem. Well worth a drive to have lunch at this pub. We were a big group on a busy day and the food was fabulous and the service was great considering how busy they were.
Try the beef and ale pie!

The staff and service provided was excellent. Food well presented and tasted 👌. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Stopped in on the way through for the night, staff were so friendly and helpful, fantastic range of gluten free food, including breakfast!! Food was delicious, such a friendly local pub with a real community feel.
Room was clean and well decorated, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed, Clun seems like a lovely village

Lovely, quirky pub, lots of little rooms/snugs, nice beer garden and an award winning micro brewery on site, with a wonderfully friendly master brewer, who was more than happy to talk about her brews

We've been here twice now for food while passing through camping. Lovely little country style pub with cosy decor. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food is incredible. Not your typical pub-grub, but what I would say is restaurant standard food at a really reasonable price!

We were staying as a young family of 4 in Clun and popped into the White Horse for a drink. Ended up here most nights for dinner! Brilliant atmosphere, excellent food and fantastic selection of ales. The pottage was so amazing!

We had a lovely dinner here while staying at a Clun holiday let for our anniversary. One of the best pub meals I've ever had and the service was very good.

Dropped in with our four boys for lunch. Everyone, staff and locals, were totally helpful and welcoming, food was great and big portions. Beers is brewed on site!
