Fantastic pub, real old world charm and atmosphere.
Great choice of local beers. And on the Sunday we were there the friendliest bar staff you would want to meet.
Pop in for a great experience

What a gem! Historic building, locals giveva good vibe, barstaff friendly, and, of course, don't forget the local beers. A cracking mild, bitter and blonde from the 3 Tuns brewery. Really well kept! People it's worth a trip!! Missed the curry night last night unfortunately. Love this place.

Went in for a few real ales. John the landlord was a great host. Fantastic old pub. Very clear. Locals were great for a chat.

A lovely local pub, with lots of character, and a good choice of ales - now also with food available a few days per week.

Friendly staff and locals. Great variety of ales and other drinks. Nice crisps, too. Multiple rooms, some with low ceilings and stone or flag floors give this gem of a pub an authentic ale house feel. Thoroughly recommend. My kind of place.

Fabulous place to stay.
A beautiful gem in the heart of Clun!
The accommodation was excellent, very well presented and exceptionally clean.
Breakfast was fabulous and the hosts extremely helpful and friendly.
Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in the area. Great base for walking, cycling and generally exploring the magnificent Shropshire countryside.
Will we be back, hopefully very soon!

A true gem, with lovely people, customers and management. A pub that should be cherished at a time when such lovely, unspoilt meeting places are disappearing fast. Thanks for a great welcome . . and see you again ! 🤠👍 W&M, Carmarthenshire couple.

Very welcoming and friendly staff with a good grasp on the whole COVID situation. Excellent range of drinks and excellent beers, food quality is really good and the portion size very generous. Dog friendly too so after a long walk with two big retrievers this pub was a perfect place to relax especially by the wood burner, we'll definitely return.

New owners i understand.
We came for Sunday lunch. 2 courses for £11.50, absolutely superb roast beef, massive portions. Deliciously cooked no complaints at all! Good selection on the menu all at reasonable prices. local ale is cheap too 😊

Would definately recommend to book as very popular! Certainly would come back again!

A fantastic pub in the heart of Clun. My wife and I have come from Sydney and have been all around the UK and Europe and this is the best steak we have had.
Well kept rooms with a full breakfast included and helpful staff.
In the evening the friendly bar staff make you feel at home and can talk you through the history of the pub and the area, recommend walks, cycle routes or other good places to stay or eat on your travels. Beer is well kept and tastes great. Our only improvement would be to include guest ales.
A lovely place to spend time, we thoroughly recommend.

Went to this pub for Sunday lunch with our family. We booked the table for 2 o clock for Sunday dinner. The staff were really friendly and helpful we sat outside and she took our orders and come and told us when food was ready. Food was beautiful all home cooked and generous portions and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend well worth a visit in a Beautiful little village.

Brilliant night at the Sun Inn. Good beer, live music from Dave Egde (this doesn’t happen every night) and lovely hosts. good mix of locals and tourists having a really good evening. The bedroom was lovely and cosy, great night sleep. This is in a lovely part of Shropshire, well worth a trip out there.

We had a few pints from the local brewery, the three tuns: really good beer, indeed! Than we had beer battered fish and chips and the delicious roast beef: the best food ever ate in the UK! Simply delicious!

I called at the Sun today as I was visiting Clun. What a brilliant old pub it is, very friendly barmaid who made me feel welcome and a lovely pint of bitter and a cheese and onion bap. I will be back.
