Hilton at St George's Park, Burton Upon Trent

Great hotel with a bonus spa attached, bar food was good and the breakfast was awesome. Not being a football fan the grounds and surroundings were wasted on me! But great for my visit to the National Arboretum. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and very welcoming.

I came here to use the spa/pool facilities and had a lovely time. I had booked for a massage and a light lunch, and the staff were very accommodating. Chris came over so I could choose the oils for my massage, and let me smell them all, explaining what each one is for.

I then had my massage with Fay, and she is one talented therapist! She was very friendly throughout, explaining what she was doing, remaining professional yet very friendly.

All in all, very friendly staff, beautiful location, if you're thinking about booking here, do it!

Excellent hotel. Superb service, beautiful location. From start to finish, booking to check out, everything was fantastic. The staff at the check in desk, the pool and spa, the bar, housekeeping and the restaurant for breakfast were friendly, efficient, attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious and well priced for a hotel. The pool was lovely and clean, open to families with kids up to 6pm. Breakfast was delicious. Had absolutely everything you could possibly want and/or think of. Highly recommend!

Impressive, high standard hotel,with pride-inducing patriotic touches and memoriabilia due to it being the England football team training base (hotel closes to the public when the team are resident I believe}. Actively encouraged (map provided)to explore the hotel and grounds- can wander around and look at the immaculate pitches the England team train on surrounded by beautiful countryside. Hotel itself was very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Free use of the gym and pool and check out at 12 ! Great stay, took more pictures of the hotel than the wedding I was attending nearby!

Lovely large room. Bath and separate shower. Good selection of TV channels. Very good quality toilet roll. Everywhere was nice and clean. Evening meal was tasty with efficient friendly service. A bit remote, so basically have to use the hotel facilities.

Nice place to have a tranquil and zen feeling. Free and secure Parking. As a loyal customer in Hilton. I enjoyed the nice room upgrade, the welcome gift and a beautiful scenery.

Good hotel! Nice pool/gym and great staff, strong WiFi, nice breakfast. We had a suite with two rooms - expensive, so we wish there was a smaller space with two rooms for older family. Austrian hotels do this well for some reason! However it was nicely done. Access to complimentary club lounge with drinks and snacks 5-8pm a nice touch. Basins are stupid - hidden taps you have to bend down to see which is hot or cold, and when you do turn on you are in danger of wet trousers. EV charging (Vendelectric) is pitiful and needs changing vendor. Charge started then failed several times, I got billed pennies for my inconvenience. 3kW max rate is also weak.

This is a very unique hotel situated in the middle of Englands training ground. If you are a football fan like me, you'll appreciate the little touches throughout which nod to all things football.

Sure it's English themed, but even though us Scots prefer you to lose now and again, I couldn't help be impressed with both the training ground and the hotel.

The staff are very friendly, the facilities are excellent and the beds comfortable.

Plus there's a picture of Gaza and being a Rangers fan I'm ok with that.

What more can you ask for?

We booked a stay and a spa day on this occasion. The hotel was quieter than our last visit but this is to be expected on the first weekend in January.

The front desk staff were great throughout the stay and Andre in particular took time out to feel Amy’s about the grounds, the FA centre next door and suggested a great walk.

I’d highly recommend the full day Spa experience. We bolted on a couple of massages and the whole experience was delivered extremely well.

The in-room dining was also on point. The chefs seem to really care about the quality of ingredients, presentation and service with the food all arriving piping hot.

Breakfast was exceptional, with a great range (they even had potato scones) and very well cooked. It was nice to see fresh, crispy pastries out too. A special mention to the breakfast service team who went out of their way to sort my decaf americano from the espresso machine in the bar area.

For anyone looking to get away from the stresses, hustle and bustle of everyday life, this hotel provides a lovely weekend getaway. We’ll definitely be back again.

Not being a football fan, I was surprised to find out that this is in the middle of the England training camp! Great facilities, good walks and a beautiful setting, plus more football pitches than you can shake a stick at.

Stayed with my Fiancée for birthday celebrations, hotel was lovely, room was clean and cosy, executive lounge and breakfast spot on!

Specifically with recognition to William (Food and Beverage Assistant) who couldn’t have done more for us, friendly, polite and incredibly professional, very bright young man!

Had a great stay after this Xmas period - had great service from Mujeeb on the front desk before we arrived who gave us a great insight about the local area. When we arrived the room was quite cold but the night manager Mukhtiar Singh went above and beyond for us knowing we had a baby with us to get the room as warm as possible as quick as possible. He searched the whole hotel to find us a portable heater and we have never had service like this before! A true dedication to guests like this is the reason we will only pick Hilton in the future. If there is an general manager I would love to speak to them to reiterate how happy my wife was at the service we received and no doubt we will return to stay at this amazing hotel. The facilities were beautiful and the rooms were of top quality. I highly recommend the heated pool which my little boy loved and I hope to return the next time we are anywhere near the area.

Very pleasant! Staff was great, modern facilities, use of swimming pool, sauna, steam room, large grounds and plenty of countryside.

Came for a spa day with my mum and it was nothing short of pure bliss. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. Treatments were spot on and all facilities were clean and very enjoyable. Definitely thinking about another trip. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a spa trip
