Good atmosphere, popped in after walking to offas dyke , live music drawing us in , it was great, I have read about the complaint (music too loud ) but wherever you live there is noise pollution, you should try living near someone who runs their own home business manufacturing home made wardrobes or something. I would take music in preference anytime . Cheers.

Popped here after finishing work late in the evening in the area for a couple of beers. The atmosphere was nice. It feels very local but welcoming. Staff was lovely. Well kept ales.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Landlady is brilliant who often puts music on to support the local community. It’s a shame there is the odd few who don’t appreciate it and try to ruin it for the whole town.

Busy lunch time .Barmaid was spectacular. Food was delicious at a reasonable rate 😋 Xxx Definitely not be our last visit to the 6 Bells🥰Xxx

Good range of ales including three tuns, dog friendly and really sunny beer garden, top marks all round 👍

Very good fish and chips. Several Real Ales. Music on a regular basis.

I popped in to this pub while waiting to meet a friend in Bishops Castle. To be fair it was Monday and mid-afternoon, the pub was very quiet. I must however say that I had walked round Bishops Castle and it was one of the few open.
I used to go to Bishops Castle on a regular basis a few years ago, overall I was surprised how quiet the whole of Bishops Castle was in comparison then and now.
I'm sure things will pick up and thankyou to "The Six Bells" being welcoming and open.

Enjoyed a pleasant hour having a drink in the gardens.

UPDATE - I have called twice today. Earlier sometime around 6 to complain to Mandy, the manager/owner about the band playing music too loudly, was told okay about keeping it down, then after 7.30pm, was treated extremely rudely, and then hung up on.

Will be taking this as far as needed to safeguard my family’s health, which is extremely disappointing as I gave lots of chances to the business to behave appropriately.

The music is played incredibly loudly every weekend, and not only affecting mental health of the residents who live nearby, it is also affecting physical health.

The manager has been spoken to about this last summer, but does not care.

If this continues, the council will be contacted. This establishment is breaking the law.

Money is not more important than people who have the legal right to a quiet environment in their own home.
