Decent recent addition to the local eateries available in Middleton-in-Teesdale, offering a broad range of food and drink at reasonable prices.
All the food is freshly prepared and cooked, and offers good value for money. The food is of a high standard.
The decor of the cafe is good, it is clean and neat. There is plenty of additional seating available upstairs, and even outside if you prefer.
The staff are friendly, experienced and helpful.

Excellent lunch experience

Fantastic cafe with delicious americano. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and the cakes are wonderful. We had Bakewell slice and apple cake, both extremely good. We have tried different establishments in Middleton but this is far the best for produce, service and atmosphere. The prices are extremely competitive. They are doing everything right!

After trying other local Cafés in Middleton town Winter's definitely take the biscuit for friendliness, quick service, wonderful coffee and specially teas plus gorgeous cakes. Do yourself a favour and give this place a visit. Thanks to the staff at Winter's carry on the good work 😁.

Had small breakfast. Freshly cooked, everything delicious, and reasonably priced. Owner was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend anyone to eat here and just enjoy the whole experience.

Always love this cafe especially the warm cheese scone.ordered it today it came cold just with butter,very disappointed i was looking forward to the little extras that came with the scone,cheese chutney etc.but unfortunately I was disappointed.but never mind we will be back hopefully not disappointed next time .x

The place has lots of potential but is not there yet. The most uncomfortable chairs and bench I've ever sat on , and the coffee is not freshly made, is one of those machines that you press a button for each type of coffee, a bit tasteless.
