I’ve just spent a fantastic week climbing with my climbing group Vertigirls in North Wales, Cat was incredibly generous with her time, fun and professional at all times giving us all a bespoke experience, I loved the diversity of the climbing we did and I learnt such a lot which has given me the motivation to continue to develop my climbing skills. Thanks so much. I can highly recommend latitude 534 it exceeded my expectations

We (Vertigirls) just spent an amazing week with Cat in Snowdonia, with 4 days climbing at fantastic locations plus a day of scrambling. Cat is highly professional, caring, always calm and fun. She is also an encyclopedia of fascinating local knowledge.
We were a large group of different abilities and goals yet Cat managed to always pick the perfect venues and climbs to cater for everyone and ensured everyone worked on their individual aspirations. The week was probably the best climbing trip I have experienced and I couldn't recommend Cat highly enough.

I've had two climbing trips with Cat and both were amazing experiences. In both cases I was part of a large group, which she took in her stride, coping with a wide range of skills and confidence, providing opportunities for everyone to try out new things and also ensuring we were all safe. Cat is really supportive and encouraging, and has helped me take on challenges well beyond my expectation. I recommend highly!

Just back from a thrilling week with Cat in Snowdonia. We were a large group with different levels of climbing experience, but she went the extra mile to find out what each of us wanted to achieve. Her thorough local knowledge enabled us to miraculously dodge the rain for 5 days of uninterrupted adventure that fulfilled all our hopes. She is a caring and inclusive teacher with vast experience and expertise. Snowdonia is her home patch but she has been our instructor in other areas of the UK over several years. We highly recommend Cat to anyone wanting guidance for outdoor adventures.

Pete & Cat have retrospectively taught me a whole host of trad climbing courses. From learning to lead through to refreshers for Mt RCI years later.
Both highly knowledgeable in their field, versatile in their teaching and good, solid instructors easily sharing their expertise in a comprehensive and straightforward format.
Highly recommended!

Had a great weekend with Cat, as part of Womens Alpine Adventure Club. She taught in a way that exuded knowledge while well paced. If values based teaching and experiences is a thing - this is it

We booked Pete as a guide up Mt Snowdon, and we were very happy to have him as we were a group of beginners and also had a pregnant lady with us. As the weather turned from bad to worse, we were happy to have someone advising on risks and options. The group agreed to not attempt the summit as the winds and rain got worse, and our clothes were wet through, and with Pete's advise we walked down safely on the wet and slippery rocks.
This is a relatively easy walk if not a beginner, but the value of having a knowledged person with you especially when the weather is bad felt very reassuring. On top of being a pro at his job, he was also very friendly, he told us some stories about the area and we really enjoyed his company. Top person and top guide! Can truly recommend him for anything like this.

Cat was an amazing guide who gave us plenty of information and encouragement on our trip up snowdon. She went beyond to give us a good time and even took us down an even quieter path that had waterfalls, valleys and woodlands. She was kind and friendly from start to finish and we really enjoyed her guide and company.

Having previously enjoyed a fantastic half day climbing Lion Rock with Cat, we returned to North Wales last week and spent another wonderful day and a half with her. For a half day climbing, Cat carefully guided eight of us, spanning three generations, up to Holyhead Mountain for some slab climbing. The youngest child (age 2) enjoyed her first climb out on the rock, the older children (8 and 11) enjoyed the challenge of the climbs and learning to belay, the parents enjoyed climbing and being able to refresh their own knowledge and the grandparent enjoyed watching and felt well looked after on the approach to and descent from the crag.
Four of us (two adults, 8 & 11 year old) also enjoyed a full day scrambling up the North Ridge of Tryfan, which was awesome. Cat clearly knows this mountain like the back of her hand. She seemed to know exactly what we were all capable of, when to support us, when to challenge us, when to give us route choices etc. As well as expertly guiding us up and down the mountain, Cat entertained us along the way with fascinating mountain geology and ecology. Special highlights included spotting ‘bubble rock’, picking bilberries to snack on, climbing up the ‘chasm of doom’ and eating our lunch on a ‘Caribbean beach’ underneath a rainbow- the forecast was fog and rain all day, but somehow Cat even found us some sunshine! We eagerly look forward to another adventure with Cat when we visit North Wales again.
Diolch yn fawr iawn.
