Ty Byr Holiday cottage

Was a my first house back in 1993 and family home from 1999 to 2001 ... fond memories - friend once remarked on the great photo of a stone wall on the way in ... had to tell him it was a real stone wall !
And the surveyor / agent who questioned the foundations- I took him out and showed him the rock of Snowdonia in the coal bunker ... it’s a recently made up name by the way 🥹

Great holiday getaway location. Rooms were comfortable and well heated. Good space for groups of family or friends.

Nice little cottage in the middle of Llanberris. It's clean and tidy with a great host who genuinely cares about your stay. There are lots of places to eat locally, and is convenient for transport links / paths up Snowdon.

Although sleeps six the single bathroom can make queues for the toilet / shower a little inconvenient, but as you'll likely be out and about this won't matter too much. Single private car park space for 6 means you'll have to park elsewhere with the next public space about 30m further up the road, or if that's full about 100m round the corner.

If the neighbor at number 12 is on his front porch he'll be able to give you a lot of local history and alternative walking routes having lived there for 40 years.
