Idan House

Idan House is in the perfect location to climb Snowdon and for Zip World Penrhyn Quarry. There are great restaurants within walking distance and a useful spar shop. Our room had a stunning lake view and was spacious with good facilities (kettle, TV, wash basin, clothes rail). The shared toilet / shower room was always available when needed and clean. The full cooked English breakfast which came included was very generous and there was a continental selection on offer as well. The staff were super friendly and offered great advice about the local area. We will definitely be back!

Nice B&B right in the heart of Llanberis.
Lovely place to stay. Clean tidy rooms.
Great breakfasts, host very accommodating with people's breakfast choices.
Rooms have kettle, TV, mine had a sink.
Long upright radiator in my room was great for drying damp clothes after long hikes.
-Shared bathroom was always clean and always seemed to have hot water whenever I choose to shower.
-We arrived late but we're able to self check in and find out rooms, which was really handy.
-Parking was easy when we visited in Easter as we were able to find parking just outside the property, on the road.

We have been there at February. Owner was amazing, so helpful and kind. We'll back. Great locating to exploring mountains. Nice restaurant near to guesthouse. Thank you so so much! Best regards from Poland Klaudia i Kamil

Found this wonderful place by chance looking for a lunch, guess house from the outside that does walking food, the staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble and this place is dog friendly, even met some locals having lunch, food was fresh and hot. Location (Opposite V12) on the high street north end, close to the village car park on the lake. (we did stay here so can not rate the rooms) there were a couple in front of us booking in and it was quick. family run, thanks to all the staff in house and behind cooking are meal.

What a gem this place is! My wife & I had a fantastic breakfast here & Ralph our frenchie enjoyed his sausage. The staff are all super friendly, this is a B&B but has a walk in dining area for people who just want to eat & dog friendly too. Looks great inside & clean too. Will definitely return.

This is the 2nd time we’ve come back here and when I tell you this is the BEST place to stay for a quick weekend hike getaway. Nothing beats it.

It’s the 2nd year me and my mate stayed. Really accommodating. Clean. Great location. It’s a shame because I know this will become more popular in the future and I would love this to be a secret B&B gem.

Idan House, 10/10

Called in for lunch. All our meals were superb. The paninis were large and very tasty and the full Welsh breakfast was gorgeous. The scones were delicious.
All lovingly served.
We found the tea room by chance but would certainly arrange to pay a visit if we are ever in the area again.

After camping the night down the road and not wanting to cook in the rain we found ourselves at the Idan House for breakfast. Not only were we served an absolutely beautiful breakfast, it was cooked by and served to us by the 2 most friendly, warm welcoming members of staff who run the guest house. Thank you very much and we will definitely be visiting again very soon. HIGHLY recommend.

A lovely b+b above a friendly little café. The rooms are clean, warm and cosy. The shared bathroom was also clean and there are plenty of toilets available. I will definitely be staying here the next time I am hiking around Llanberis :)

Great little B and B situated in a lovely village, ideally situated for Mt Snowdon walk or visiting North Wales on general.
The hosts were very friendly and the food delicious.
The only slight niggle is parking is on the street, where you can find it. Weekends this can be a little tricky, but the host did say we would be able to park around tge corner at the carpark over night if needed, we didn't need to but I could imagine sometimes the parking might be an issue for some.
I believe our room was the only one with onsuite so if this is an issue I'd book early.......
Would recommend and we hope to get back here again in the future.

We didn't stay in the B&B we just popped in for breakfast which was really nice, they even made an extra sausage for our dog for free.

I've just booked my 3rd stay. I have only ever stayed at any other place in llanberis. It was much more expensive but not a patch on Idan House. Brilliant clean and we'll kept rooms. A breakfast that powered me up Snowdon . Made my bike safely out of the way. Very friendly and in a brilliant spot close to all shops and close to the bottom of Snowdon. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

Decent facilities, clean rooms, great service and on the High Street near to all the amenities. Allowed us to check-in late too. Will recommend.

Great little b&b, family run, good location in village. You do have to find a parking spot on the street as no off road parking available. Single rooms don't have ensuite but shower and toilets are available nearby.

Room I was in wasnt small nor big but a fair size.
You can litrally see snowdonia if you come out and walk around idan house.
I have to admit awkward to get to if you dont drive. As I arrived after 5PM. Only way there then is by cab or taxi as last bus there stops before 5PM.
But it is great value for money

Cosy room with view of the lake. Nice and quiet - really made our weekend extra relaxed! The host is a lovely and attentive. Could not have asked for more pleasant accommodation.

Glenda made me feel very welcome from the moment i stepped in the front door. Great budget room and brekkie was delicious. Would recommend if on a budget and looking to explore the local area

Highly recommended. Run by a lovely family who always make us feel welcome when we stay. Great location, in our favourite part of Wales.
