Alpine Lodge Hotel

Very happy with room #7, spacious, clean, comfy and lovely views towards the lake. Double glazed windows did a good job of keeping road noise to a minimum. Bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was compact with a large bath/shower. The breakfast didn't disappoint.

Arriving around 5pm we found the self check-in easy, the guesthouse looked liked it had been recently refurbished, the room was of a good size as was the ensuite. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we had enjoyed on our weeklong tour of Wales. The Host and staff were very friendly and helpful. Being a guest house there was no evening meal option, there were limited options in the local town.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alpine Lodge, and I can't say enough good things about this incredible hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality, and my experience only got better from there.

The rooms are absolutely brilliant—comfortable, spotless, and well-appointed with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The beds were so cozy that I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud after a day of exploring. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it easy to unwind and feel at home.

Breakfast was a highlight of my stay. The selection was diverse, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that made for a perfect start to each day. Whether you prefer a hearty full English or something lighter, Alpine Lodge has you covered.

The location of Alpine Lodge is unbeatable if you're looking to explore the natural beauty of the area. It’s an ideal base for climbing Mount Snowdon, with the trailheads just a short drive away. Plus, there are numerous lakes and scenic spots nearby, perfect for day trips and outdoor adventures. Whether you’re here for hiking, sightseeing, or just to relax in nature, this hotel is perfectly situated.

Overall, my stay at Alpine Lodge was exceptional. If you're planning a trip to the Snowdonia region, I highly recommend staying here. It’s comfortable, convenient, and truly a home away from home. I can't wait to return!

Very friendly and helpful staff . Great variety of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit as well as full cooked English breakfast and toast. All cooked to perfection. The room was excellent, room to walk around, wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. Two comfortable chairs and king size bed with two pillows each. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed our week stay here. Tea & coffee facilities in the room, snacks provided every day.

Absolutely fantastic experience staying at Alpine Lodge Hotel. The room was brilliant, clean, drink making facilities, great shower (always needed after a day of exploring Snowdonia), dog friendly and for those who travel with lots of gadgets, lots of sockets and USB points! Plus delicious hot breakfast delivered to you door every morning. Nothing was too much bother for Naomi and Martin, great hosts and also offered local advise and recommendations when asked. Can't recommend enough and when we come back to Llanberis we will be looking to book again 😀

First time stay at the Alpine Lodge. I loved my room. They accepted my dog at no extra charge. The crisps and chockie bars were a lovely touch. The breakfast was amazing and im not a breakfast person. As an open water swimmer, the location was idyllic for me as it was literally a stones throw from llyn padarn. Thank you to the lovely lady who served breakfast, you were a joy to meet. I genuinely cannot wait to go back. I didnt want to leave.

Great views from our room which was clean . Linda the breakfast lady was soooo helpful and knowledgeable on the area. It's 15 minute walk to Snowdon mountain railway or the start of Llanberis path for Snowdon. Spar shop on 8 minutes away. Only 2 pub nearby. Eating out not so great but Indian takeaway was delicious! The lodge has cutlery for guests but no plates so we ate out of the takeaway container xx

A very welcoming place to come back to after a day in the great outdoors. Comfy room with a nice spacious bath/shower. Really appreciate the staff going out of their way to make sure I got a good cooked breakfast before having to head out early. Really set me up for the day.

Last minuet booking, the staff were amazing and very accommodating with my dogs. Had everything in the room you need. Definitely would stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here.

The rooms here a really nicely decorated and fitted out.There are crisps, chocolate and hot drinks in abundance.Plenty of towels and toiletries.The accommodation is really homely and welcoming.I'm looking forward to walking up Snowdon tomorrow.😊

We recently stayed at Alpine Lodge for the second time for our annual climb of Snowdon.

Martin greeted us warmly and had a chat with us about the different routes to take up the mountain.

We had the same lovely room as last year which overlooks the nearby lake and mountains.

There is a lovely comfortable bed with plenty of soft pillows and spotless bedding.

The decor is great and the bathroom is nice and modern with a large bath and a good powerful shower with piping hot water.

There is complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate and a packet of crisps and chocolate bar each which is replaced daily.

We enjoyed a delicious full cooked breakfast with bacon, sausage, egg, hash browns, mushrooms, tomato and beans with plenty of toast, tea or coffee.

I believe there are juices and cereals if you can manage those too.

We had a lovely stay and were touched to find a nice bottle of wine in the room as it was my husband’s birthday.

I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area and there are lots of nice pubs, restaurants and tea shops in the village and perfect for the Llanberis Path up Snowdon.

Great location for Mt. Snowdon and surrounding areas. We stayed in room 9, lovely views of the mountains. Breakfast in a basket worked well. Host and staff very friendly.

Alpine Lodge is an absolute gem of a find. The rooms at the front give you an amazing view across the lake and are smart, clean and very comfortable. After a long drive, I immediately relaxed. Breakfast is substantial - a full Welsh breakfast and cereal sets you up for a walk up Snowdon, together with a pot of coffee. Everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us advice about where and what to visit and chatting in the breakfast room.
It may claim to "only" be a three star hotel, but I would far rather stay here than in a multitude of other "five star" hotels!

I LOVED our stay here! Excellent service, beautiful views and an excellent clean and spacious room. We had a really lovely nights sleep after walking the snowdon!
