Caffi`r Ffowntan Cafe

Food was really good and the staff very helpful. Quite a few options for food including soup, pasties and sandwiches. Choice of sandwich was a little limited but there was still plenty we liked.

Fantastic service,even provided us hot water for bottle warming in the Tommie tippee flask - excellent service and great prices.

Free wifi. Toilets. Friendly service. Cash or card are accepted. Nice place to wait if it's cold or wet outside.

Attempted to visit at 11.45am on a Wednesday. Doors were wide open, staff bustling about, lights on, but as we walked in the lady behind the counter called out along the lines of 'sorry, we don't start serving til 1pm today...'

A sign, or, maybe closing the doors might help deter those of us wanting to spend some money from attempting to enter during listed opening hours...

Went to the cafe at the railway instead - an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone...

Shame this isn’t at all dog friendly, not sure why it isn’t as you can go around majority of the museum with a dog.
