Lone Tree Cafe

Without a doubt the best cafe in Llanberis and surrounding areas. Perfect after a swim or run round the lake. There's books to browse , large patio you can sit outside, or its always warm inside in the winter.
The food is really high quality love the simple cheese and ham toasties or homemade soup.
Tara's cakes are always fresh, generous and delicious! Especially Chocolate yoghurt cake Victoria sponge and the vegan flapjack. Highly recommended xx

Wow, we ordered our coffees and decided to share one of the GIANT slabs of orange and Poppy seed Bread Pudding, this afternoon. (My photo shows just two pieces of the said bread pudding!)
What a treat! After my chilly swim a few minutes before, in Llyn Padarn, water 7C, the bread pudding was served warm, which was absolutely yummy and really delicious. ( I do so want the recipe!!) Tara who had baked the cakes was very welcoming and friendly. The coffee was also perfect. We heartily recommend the Lone Tree Café, with its beautiful views and caring and attentive staff.

What an absolute little hidden gem with the most amazing cakes and massive portions too and the best deluxe Mocha's I've ever had. If you find yourself near here, go you certainly won't be disappointed. Will definitely be coming back next time we come back x

Lovely staff. A great choice of drinks. I had a luxury mocha...yum! Couldn't resist a , very generous, slice of chocolate orange bread pudding, which was absolutely delicious.

We didn’t eat - just stopped for coffee and a break. Wonderful little cafe next to a beautiful spot. Very dog friendly. Highly recommend.

I very much enjoyed my experience at The Lone Tree cafe. Having coeliac disease I always find it stressful when eating out so it was great to see some gluten free options available. I had Smokey beans over nachos and it was delicious! The gluten free brownie is also amazing!

Lovely cafe, with great veiws, it over looks the lake which only makes it feel more relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and happy, and thr food was so nice it felt home made with love. Definitely worth popping in if your this way.

Only had drinks. Lovely location overlooking the lake. The cafe is upstairs and you can sit outside. V friendly staff. Very clean. A lovely end to a beautiful walk around the lake

We visited for breakfast before a walk in the local area and enjoyed it so much we returned for a snack after our walk. Lovely setting, friendly staff, great coffee, good range of breakfast items and varied lunchtime menu. Huge chip butties and very tasty cakes. Dog friendly. Not sure about accessibility as cafe on first floor with access via staircase.

Lovely front of house service and the ice cream sundae cheered me up. Very tasty and great views of the lake. Girl behind the counter was very friendly with good customer service. Would recommend

We had a great lunch and coffee on top of their roof terrace. This cafe has the best views of Llyn Padarn and Snowdon out of all the eating places in the village. Highly recommended!

After a long time trying to find somewhere to eat and relax, after a long walk we stumbled across this gem!

Staff were lovely, friendly and very welcoming.

Food was amazing and loads of it too! Loads of vegan options and gluten free too.

We loved it here and would definitely come back!

Lovely cafe with an outdoor balcony overlooking the lakes above the lakes outdoor hire equipment shop. You could sit here all day on a sunny day enjoying the atmosphere of folk enjoying themselves on the lake. I had the vegan option of loaded fries( so delicious and fully loaded with tasty toppings. Thank-you to the chef) followed by vegan carrort cake. My guest had the regular coffee cake which looked yummy and was enjoyed the last crumb. Staff are local, polite and friendly. I will definitely return here.
