I've just come back from a 4 day retreat, and highly recommend it for anyone who needs to reconnect with nature. Anthony is a brilliant host, and was always there to help if needed. Beautiful surroundings and breathtaking views.

Beautiful location, great cosy and comfy accommodation , hot showers.
This is my 2nd visit and I'll come back again.

Lovely place. The showers are hot and the beds are comfortable and warm. There's a lovely walk along the river and lakes to Beddgelert. And Snowdon is literally behind you.

Second time we have stayed, first time in the cabin. The cabin for its size is well set out, a good size bedroom for two adults, a living room/dining area/kitchen, two single beds in a 'roof' space - great for kids. A nice decking area out front with plastic table and chairs (im on the larger size so used my own chair so I didn't break the plastic one). It also have its own bathroom so we didn't need to share with others which is great with the current covid pandemic. Provided with small packets tea, coffee and sugar (enough to keep you going if you didnt make it to shop on the way), also provided with some cleaning products. Great location if you are wanting to be near snowdon or Porthmadog. Great for walkers and outdoor types (Oh and those that like rain 🌧 😂). There are glamping pods on site which you do not hear any noise from. Fantastic will definitely be back again.

Stayed in one of the cottages. Warm and well equipped. Perfect location for exploring Snowdonia. Highly recommend for a family get away.

Love it here. Stayed here a couple of times. Very clean pods. Very clean facilities. Lovely staff. Awesome location being right next to the watkin path for Snowdon. Up the road from beddgelert. Lots of walking and views. Excellent driving. Kettles in pods as well as heaters cups plates and cutlery. Small kitchen type shed separate which has sink toaster microwave. WiFi available at cost. Mobile reception poor in this area. Parking is on the side of the road but not on the road. Communal BBQ and cooking area. Take your own bedding or pay for theirs. Really nice here...always the first place I think of when booking for Snowdon.

For a place to lay our heads during a busy weekend in north Wales, this place was perfect! The pod provided everything we could need and more as well as the other facilities available to us to use on site aka the bathrooms, communal area and kitchen area. It was absolutely perfect and I hope I can go again soon! Thank you:)

Very spartan but good value for the money. Clean room and well kept facilities. The Watkin path starts few hundred metres from Red Dragon so it saves the hassle to find a parking space. There is a small kitchen with a microwave and also laundry services available. You can park outside the property without any problems. It is places like this that transform your holiday experience into something memorable. And the reality is that it is done without a fuss.

If you want a break to get away from it all, then this is it!
Nothing but bird song and the sound of sheep in the neighbouring fields. It's so peaceful.
We have stayed many times now, staying in the camping pods, bunk rooms, maple Lodge and one of the cottages. We love them all.
Great place to stay if you want to visit the local areas.. Beddgelert, Betwsy Coed, Llandudno, Bangor and Carnarvon. All within a short drive away. To name but a few.
And, ideally located if you wanted to climb Snowdon (Watkin path) and enjoy a hearty breakfast at Caffi Gwynant!! 😀

Top abode. Spent a peaceful weekend staring at the foothills of MT. SNOWDON. Unfortunately my climbing days are behind me, but it's nice to watch the young ones on their way.

Pods were comfortable and perfect for a short break if you're considering climbing Snowdon or just want to go walking in the valleys.
Rooms have bunk beds and a kettle, community room had a microwave, fridge and another kettle. Showers were lush, there were 3 that served the site and there were 4 toilets. Internet available for a small fee and a laptop for use in community room.
Bedding is provided, sheets and pillow/pillow case. You will need a duvet or sleeping bag.
Compact and bejou.

As a first timer visiting Snowdon I think I already have a place I would go back without thinking twice - right BACK here!

It would take you while to find something that you could fail this place on something, so just appreciate surroundings and the layout of this place in order to enjoy the views.

Really wonderful, perfectly maintained and just great holiday site.
Camping pods well located and spaced between each other.
There's a kettle and mugs, plus tea and coffee readily available for a nice warm drink moment.
Beds have pillows and bedding on them, so all you need is your own duvet (or a sleeping bag - we used those).
Showers (and they are lush!) and toilets are located the entry of the holiday park.
Two communal areas : one outdoors, one indoors - a perfect way to bring people together.

There are fridges available through the site: common room, kitchenette area - so don't worry of buying something that goes off quick.

Might want to bring your own plates and cutlery (depending of your food plans) or.. there's a pub nearby.

Pods have heaters in them, so don't worry about being cold.

Wi-fi is available and.. please recycle, just for your own and nature appreciation.

Noticed CCTV onsite - safety first.

I know I will be back and I really hope everyone gets to feel the same after their one visit here.

Stayed here November 2015 for 4 nights took my two dogs with me. Staff where great pods where nice had heaters In to so wasn't cold in the winter alot of walking areas near by id love to come back in the summer as it would be a lovely weekend away when it's warm and able to walk more places with out bring caught in the rain. The Wi-Fi never worked though after paying for it that was the only problem.

The rooms, bathroom and the whole campsite was very clean and well looked after. There is no oven or hob but you can bring your bbq or use microwave and toaster which are provided. Even when it is next to road it is nicely quiet.

Booked a pod for 2 days. That’s a finest service. Nice and clean pod, toilets, beds. I will definitely look to prefer service again next time.

What a great place! We stayed in the pods which were a perfect base for a walk up Snowden. Great facilities which were very clean and all the information we needed to have a lovely time.

We regularly go to red dragon. A fantastic group of people professional friendly. Spotless clean. Fantastic facilities minutes from Watki path. Beddgelert village. Snowdon. Cafe just up the road .pods and cottages. The owners are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. Parking . Wi-Fi.

Perfect base for exploring Snowdonia.. Watkin path on your doorstep. Sygun cottage is lovely .. everything you need after a long day walking/climbing mountains!!

Basically everything you want when you go camping. Clean warm pods! Friendly staff, the woman with the coloured hair is so helpful!
Only downside - toilets were closed at night

We have stayed in the cottages at Red Dragon a number of times. We have found the accommodation to be excellent and the service very friendly and helpful. It is a real bonus to be able to take the dogs with us. We would highly recommend Red Dragon to anyone looking for a break away in this area.
