We have booked the kayak last minute, even though the weather wasn’t perfect, great facilities including changing rooms and showers made the whole experience really pleasant, additionally the owner was very helpful and nice, while the equipment is in a great condition.

We booked 2 activities for our scout summer camp, 25 children, 6 leaders and we did raft building and climbing. They had endless patience while we worked through the best activities for our group, had excellent knowledge of the area and offered different climbs to suit the abilities of our scouts. They took their time to explain how to build rafts well and made sure they all had fun on a very hot day. I really cannot recommend them enough and will definitely book again if we camp in the area again. Thank you for an excellent day!

I recently booked a kayaking session with Boulder Adventures on Llyn Padarn near Llanberis, and I had an absolutely wonderful time. The booking process was smooth and easy - I emailed to check availability and made payment ahead of time.
On the day of our booking, we arrived at the Padarn Water Sports Centre 15 minutes early as recommended. The staff were friendly and efficient, fitting us with life jackets, wetsuits and providing a thorough safety briefing before we headed out onto the lake.
The single and double kayaks provided were top quality and easy to maneuver. The stunning scenery surrounding Llyn Padarn was breathtaking and made for a peaceful and scenic paddling session. We had so much fun out on the water for nearly 3 hours, but still felt safe thanks to the safety equipment and instructions.
The changing facilities and storage options back at the center were clean and tidy. Overall, our kayaking experience with Boulder Adventures exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend them for adventure seekers of any age looking to enjoy the beauty of Snowdonia from a new vantage point on the water. The staff, equipment, locations and entire experience was absolutely first-rate. We can't wait to go back!

I love our stay at this venue, we now return every year as it is well equipped has an amazing staff and absolutely stunning location. I have visited many outdoor centres in my time and trust me you will love this one.

We recently booked a family kayaking adventure near Llanberis. We had an absolutely lovely time! The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. We were fitted with wetsuits and life jackets. They took in account modesty and were very respectful to our needs. The changing rooms were clean and tidy as were the toilets.
David was an excellent teacher from start to finish, he put us at ease right from the off. He allowed us the time to practice on the lagoon before heading out onto the lake and wow what a lake!!! The views were absolutely stunning. We spent almost 3 hours in the kayaks and enjoyed every minute. By the end of our time, we were confident in steering the kayaks back to the lagoon.
Our experience was 10/10. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to try their hand at kayaking to book with boulder adventures!

We had the best time here at Boulders . We have been coming here for the last 3 years, the facilities are amazing, David has been very helpful and welcoming. We as a group would recommend this place to our friends families and any groups who want a peaceful and enjoyable holiday place to stay. Ask for kayaking when you book as he does group kayaking trips too.

Amazing Location as well as accommodation. Very clean and cozy. David has been amazing. I had lost my Apple Watch before leaving and he found it and posted it on the same day. So nice of him. Loved it!

We had an excellent time using the kayaks on lake Padarn and the equipment provided from the wet suits to the kayaks were very good. Would highly recommend using Boulder adventures for hiring kayaks.

Lovely, organised set up. We had a gorgeous afternoon paddling. Equipment all well maintained. Clean changing rooms and toilets. Storage facilities great too.

Thank you for our absolutely fantastic three hours of kayaking today. It’s a stunning setting and a huge lake. You couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly.
We were also very impressed with the vast array of waterproof gear and items to keep glasses and phones safe.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Instructors were just as friendly and helpful especially when on activities people felt nervous on. Food and accomodations were great as well, would recommend if you want to have an exciting and lovely experience or are just in the area.

Attended a course he recently ran by a third party. Very neat, clean and comfy venue. We were in the little chalet at the back.
