The lady at this shop is unpleasant, rude & will not accept Yodel parcels. She pretended to scan my parcel & then shouted at me that the machine was broken. This has happened before so I presume she just can’t be bothered. Went to Morrisons in Peach Street - no problem scanning & very pleasant service. I would never shop in the Barret Crescent Store when this is the level of service.

Absolutely horrendous store. Sour faced lady behind the desk chatting away on phone and gave me no acknowledgment. When I enquired about my parcel she claimed it was not delivered by yodel, despite tracking stating it was delivered the previous day at 4pm! She declined to look for it, and simply told me to return later, because yodel are lying. I’m now following up this dispute with yodel to reprimand the store - because it seems this store has many issues with retaining peoples parcels incorrectly, and therefore should not operate in this capacity.

Terrible and Rude Staff, they offer a UPS drop off point but will not take your item.

I have tried to drop off twice now and been refused as apperently i just missed the collection. They also cant tell you when the collection will be so you have to be clairvoyant or a Jedi to predict this yourself.

If I could give this 0 stars i would. Not even worth the 1 star i have to select.

I had an awful encounter with the man behind the counter this evening. Went to collect a parcel that I’d been notified had been delivered there 8 hours earlier, with my ID and my tracking information to which the man didn’t want to know any of it and just kept saying he wouldn’t give me my parcel. He started shouting at me and gesturing at me, so naturally I burst into tears from the sheer shock of how he spoke to me, and then he started shouting even more, calling me aggressive several times, shouting things at me that I didn’t understand, and telling me to get out. Another man came out the back and just stared at me while the other man yelled.
So I left without my parcel, and as silly as it sounds, I now feel too frightened to go back.
I would rather take the loss of the money spent and not get my parcel, than step foot back in there again. I hope they feel proud of themselves, intimidating and frightening someone like that.

Really awful store. The staff are so rude and unhelpful - I honestly don't know how they stay in business.
They do not provide the service listed for parcel sending and collection and won't take them at weekends so don't bother going here. I've asked them to get it changed but clearly they don't care about running a business. It's an awful shop with a very bad approach to serving and helping customers. I ended up going to McColls in peach street and was greeted to much better with a helpful customer service agent.

The woman purposely sent my parcels to the wrong places for some reason, resulting in me having to pay for returns. Was extremely unhelpful and made me and my partner feel uncomfortable and as if we were a burden for simply wanting to use the delivery service. Wish I would have read these reviews before using them. A secret shopper from watchdog needs to go in here because the customer service is an absolute joke!
Many other places in Wokingham to use which I’ve had a very positive, helpful experience with. Avoid this place at all costs.

Such a rude lady. I just posted a yodel order today at 8am and she didn’t want to get up from the seat, was rolling her eyes and very bad attitude. I don’t even feel comfortable at all to have leave there my parcel.

The issue here is the middle aged lady. It’s almost as if she thinks working in the shop is beneath her. She clearly dislikes her customers and is arrogant and unhelpful. I gave the shop a few goes but won’t be using it again. I suggest you find an alternative as well

The lady who works there has a very bad attitude. From the moment my mother and I walked into the store, she had a sour look on her face and didn’t have any manners. Honestly, don’t go into costumer service if you can’t treat people with basic respect.
Very horrible lady, she rejected our parcels before even letting us speak. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Would have given no stars if I could have. The woman who works here has to be one of the rudest people I’ve come across. Went to collect a parcel and was told to recheck my confirmation from the courier as she did not believe that it was in the shop and told me to come back the next day. At this point she hadn’t even looked herself. When I told her the date it would be at her shop she then blamed me for not giving this to her. Not sure why they provide the service if it’s such a bother to them but of course they are happy to take the money for it. Won’t use them again and would advise others to steer clear.

The WORST store for collect +. Go to collect my items and they say the machine is not working and to come back, so when I return at a normal time of 4.30 they're shut. Notice outside states opening times due to a wedding but this is rubbish as they're not opened at all at anytime!! Ordered stuff for a wedding in plenty of time but cannot get them as they're not open when they say they are!!! Also 100% agree with other reviews, the woman in here is so rude and arrogant and has no customer service skills what so ever. If I could give this store a minus score I would as they don't deserve a 1. 🤬🤬🤬
