Just purchased a tent from CTS and it’s been a pleasure to do business with James and Suzie. Lots of sound advice, given time to make one’s mind up with all options covered.
Lots of quality tents to check out on site, only so much can be achieved by viewing on line and checking out reviews, great to have a hands on experience to make a fully evaluated decision.

I can't recommend The Camping Travel Store enough, we bought our Karsten tent back in 2016 and have used it every year since and it still feels like new.

James & Suzie provide a customer serve that is second to none, even to the point of giving a video call to myself recently to advise on how to best set up my guy ropes for high winds.

We have had a brilliant experience with James and Suzie. Allowing us to take the time to get the right set up for us now and one that will give multiple ways to expand in the future. They are both full of knowledge and the store is lovely and well equipped to see many different set ups.

I ran out of camping gas and the site manager helpfully directed me here (the site didn't stock what I needed).

I was warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. I left with a few more bits that I expected -but now have a small, low power oven and a similar low power heated AND a bigger gas bottle (and correct regulator).

Great advice and very helpful service. Absolutely recommended!

James and Suzie are so knowledgeable, friendly and honest.

They have such a vast display of tents both indoors and outdoors. The shop floor is set up so and has so many accessories you never thought you needed. The shop floor and displays provides an in person true feel of space for each tent they have on display.

Would highly recommend you pay them a visit if you can.

Delighted to find this excellent shop on my doorstep! I was looking for equipment for my sons first scout camping trip. The owners were very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm really pleased with what I brought and the prices were reasonable, even compared to online. It definitely pays to shop local!

I cannot speak too highly of the Camping Travel Store. I have bought two tents from them, and the quality is outstanding. The after sales service provided by James and Suzie is unparalled in my experience.

Excellent quality!, we went along as my husband wanted to just have a look at Karstens and we ended up buying one! We have since got all of the extras and are off to Snowdonia in September to try it all out. James and Suzie are very polite, helpful and certainly know their stuff! We will never look back!

The very best tents I’ve seen in the UK sold by a very knowledgeable staff who will do everything they can to help and to help you make the best choice . They also stock some fabulous gear to fill the tent up . These are NOT run of the mill tents , the quality is second to none and will last considerably longer.

Brilliant service, brilliant store and very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be going back soon.
