I don't write many reviews at all. I was fitted for some irons by Matt who was great, very relaxed and helped find the best irons for my swing. No pressure to buy just pure data from the screen.

I would highly recommend this place for the approach alone.

I went to AF with an open mind, having received poor service from another fitting company. The plan was to get fitted for a driver. Here I am today having ordered a complete set of clubs!!!!. Firstly the fitting service is free. You would think on this basis they would "rush you through". Absolutely it is the contrary. Both Matt and Rob managed my fitting and suffice to say they are very knowledgeable and patient. You get a real personal approach and you feel they have your best Interests at heart. Despite the free fitting there is no pressure to complete any purchases. Along with this is the best selection of club brands, shafts and everything you need all in one place. The shop is very well stocked and I was lucky enough to hit it at sale time :).
There is also on site range, crazy golf, course and great coffee shop
In summary I would not hesitate to recommend Rob, Matt and the AF team to anyone looking for a similar experience. I was happy to drive the 2 hour return trip and would gladly do so again for any future requirements.

Booked myself in for a driver fitting, my first ever with this club. As a senior guy I went in with an open and realistic mind set, I just wanted something that got me further down the runway off the tee than my fairway woods. I was more than a little nervous, but the team put me at ease and Ellis, my fitter, was patient. We discussed what I was trying to achieve then worked through a variety of head, shaft and loft combinations until we got things dialled in. During this time he also gave me some setup tips that really helped. The bonus….the driver build should only take a few days. A fantastic service, that’s got me thinking about other areas of my bag now!

Venue: I’d never visited before, but was really impressed. A nice cafe, well presented shop and then all the driving range bays had computer screens to track your shot data. A good atmosphere all round too.

Lesson: I had a lesson with Mark. I’ve had lessons in the past with different people, but there was just something about Mark that really set him out as a top class coach. He was immediately able to pinpoint the next step I needed to take in my swing using video footage and the track man data, and by the end of the 30 minutes my 7 iron went from 81mph and 150 yards, to 88mph and 180 yards! Crazy!

Fitting: I also had a driver fitting with Ellis. It was nice and relaxed, I tried a variety of options and ended up with the one that definitely felt right. They also look up the price online to make sure you are getting the cheapest price available, which is a nice touch.

Overall, a great experience. I’m quite recently back into golf and this was a little Christmas treat of a day that I was really looking forward to, and it didn’t disappoint! So thanks a lot, and I’ll definitely be back in the future for lessons and fittings.

Matt was great really patient. Found me a really forgiving club. Not pushy at all. Went for a coffee whilst deciding whether to go for it or not. Obviously I went for it! Will be back in the near future for some new irons. Much better than other places that offer club fittings

I set Ollie a difficult task fitting new irons. He was patient, explained the process fully to me and did a great job. New irons arrive early next week and have already booked again with him to get a new driver and fairway wood sorted out. Excellent service!

Had a fitting with Ollie, he was excellent, very knowledgeable and explained the differences between clubs and shafts very clearly. I'd previously tried indoor fittings but struggled to hit well indoors against a screen. This outdoor fitting was much better for me. Although of course you get the normal technology figures to compare clubs, I could see the real ball flight for myself and easily see the differences between clubs. An enjoyable experience and new clubs ordered.

Great club fitting service provided by AFGolfStore Cambridge at Kingsway Royston. Ellis was very helpful and knowledgeable. He offered me a great range of brands and options to choose from with plenty of data captured to support his recommendations. There was no sales pressure but I was more than happy to purchase based on his advice. Hopefully, I will now see an improvement in my game...

Really good experience getting fitted for a left handed drive at AF golf store. They had a good selection of drivers to try and Jack the custom fitter was very experience in setting the clubs up I would highly recommend them.

Excellent fitting session with Ollie. No pressure to purchase and spent 2 hours with him. Very knowledgeable about club, shafts etc. Went there with a certain make in mind, however with his help and Track man, discovered they were not as good for me as another brand.

Did a putter analysis, really great experience, got lots of great data from the SAM putt lab and great advice on how to improve. Was recommended to change the lie on my putter, the Peterborough store did it for me for free while I waited. Highly recommend!

I came in today for a full fitting with Matt. He was super accommodating and very knowledgeable on selecting the right clubs for me, I am very new to the sport so I had little knowledge or direction on what I wanted. Matt got the ball rolling really quickly and started to whittle down clubs with me, working our way through the full bag. He even gave me a few pointers on my golf swing which made significant improvements on my striking consistency… I’ve never hit golf balls so straight in my life. A full bag fitting takes a good 2 hours but it flew by! I would absolutely recommend AFGolf to anyone looking for a really well stocked shop with exceptional customer service and knowledge.

My second visit to AF Golf Center for a Mizuno fitting. Great experience, friendly staff and the fitting experience was amazing. Also very good practice facilities at AF golf to get your game together. Last, thank you Mizuno and AF golf for the tour of their Tour Truck.

It was a great place to visit. The store had great inventory. This was my first club fitting and it definitely brought into focus how choosing the right club and length and what not goes a long way into helping your golf game.
The staff was great to talk to and very helpful. Matt helped me for my fitting and was great! Very patient and informative. Aside from the club fitting Matt noticed one or two small things with my swing and stance and gave some advice on what to work on in that aspect. Went out and played today and used his advice he gave me and it definitely helped. I was hitting the ball slot better and nicer

From start 2 finish my driver fitting experience was class!! I was open 2 going with whatever driver came out top in the statistics 📊 & I ordered the driver I thought that i wouldn’t suit! great knowledge of products & what I needed to improve on In my game! Driver probably the weakest part of my Game- 25 yards carry added & 6mph ball speed added is going to help for sure!!

Really good fitting. I found the best combination between clubhead and shaft with great numbers on Trackman. They have a great variety of the latest market-released heads and shafts. Olly was really patient and very knowledgeable.

I had an iron and wedge fitting with Mark. The fitting was great, Mark was extremely knowledgeable and very patient whilst trying the numerous head and shaft combinations. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase or to up sell. We whittled it down to two clubs, I came back an hour later and hit them again. Needless to say I made the purchase. Now just have a short wait for them to be built. Having been fit before by a larger golf chain, this was a much more enjoyable experience where the aim was always about getting the best fit for me rather than a quick sale.

The fitting was well structured and a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy new clubs. I ordered my new set of irons straight afterwards. Very friendly staff. Excellent experience! 👍
