Absolutely love this spot and the people who run it. We just spent 4 days in Varenna and this place was critical to our stay there. We ate breakfast here every day, and bought pasta there two nights to prepare at our airBNB. The pasta and sauces they recommended were incredible, far better than the food we ate at restaurants in Varenna, and far more affordable. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We wandered up the street from all the overly crowded cafés along the water and were so glad to find this gem! We tried the porchetta sandwich and caprese sandwich, both incredible. They also have iced coffee!!

Delicious food and made quickly! I love all of the little things in the Market! Friendly service and speaks good English! Perfect location to relax on the way to and from the ferry.

I came at the end of our sejour in Lago di Como on my way to take the train for Milan. I wish I came when i first arrived because it was on the way to took the boat direction Bellagio. I was scared by the emplacement where all the tourists pass by. But, compare to all the places i've been around Lago Di Como, they actually did their best to welcome and serve me. This family-run cafe was a blessing on our visit to the Lake Como area. It is "downstairs" after you exit the Varenna train station. We are vegetarian and enjoyed a great sandwich for our lunch after arriving--in fact, we enjoyed it so much, we came back for dinner! In an area full of over-priced cheese-and-pasta places, we enjoyed the prices and options here AND you can grab some fresh fruit and veggies as well. Very nice people here. Keep up the good work!

It is really delicious! Especially the pork sandwich with some cooked red onions, a must have ! And to top it off, Alessandro is very friendly, and you can eat next to some jasmin which smells sooooo good !!!

Lovely and convenient little store with great food and wine. Nadia is the most wonderful person, her kindness has made our stay in Varenna very special and unforgettable.

The proprietor is extremely kind and always greets us with a smile. Paninis are tasty. Small selection of fresh produce, lots of wines, yummy desserts. You pay extra for the convenient location.

Awesome food, good coffee with plant based milk, authentic local items and great service. Worth grabbing something before you go to catch your train! Also, gluten free options available, best picked gf cookies I have ever eaten ❤

We popped in here with the intention of just browsing the aisles but still found ourselves there 3 hours later! The owners talked us through the local wines and olive oils and they let you try the wines and oils before you buy which is a very nice touch. All the produce looked of high quality, including their pastries which I regret not trying. We sat outside and enjoyed a few glasses of wine and a local selection of cheeses and other snacks which were delicious. They cater for all times of the day which makes them one of the only places to do so in Varenna. The hosts are extremely friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them as we sat outside enjoying our wine in the evening sun. This is a great place to grab breakfast/lunch, enjoy a few glasses before your evening meal, and to buy food/drink gifts for family and friends.

Tons of great local products and excellent cafe too! The owners/workers were lovely. Stopped there for lunch twice - highly recommend the paninis and a glass of wine.
