We has an amazing pasta making experience with chef Marco and his partner Anita. Marco is a very experienced and enthusiastic chef, sharing his experience and techniques of pasta making. I loved that we got to experiment with different kinds of pastas from different regions of Italy, using traditional methods. It was a fun and engaging 2hour class, in which we got to eat what we produced in the end. The Location is in a building that used to be the original train station. Adding to the charm of this Varenna cooking class on Lake Como. You can also buy locally produced products in the entrance of the building.

We took a Pasta Cooking Class with Marco, and from start to finish, it was absolutely spectacular. A true cultural immersion into the delicacy of food in the region. With the freshest produce and wine included, a wealth of local knowledge shared, and an extraordinary 3 course meal to finish, this class is the best experience for any age! I can’t wait to come back!

Very friendly shop owner with high quality homemade products from her own Olive Grove. She even has a decent selection of craft beer in the refrigerator.

Bella bottega che commercializza i prodotti tipici locali del lago di Como. Prezzi alti ma qualità ottima. Trovate olio, vino, sughi mm a anche sapone e cosmetici a base di olio. Ottime anche le marmellate.

Note: this is not a grocery store, but does have a few artisanal pastas, sauces and oils. No fruits or vegetables

One of the red wine bottles (Stabia Terrazze Retiche di Sondrio 2014) turned out to be vinegar
