What a great little find!!!
A beautiful park with a dog run/area, a 9 hole Frisbee golf course, and access to a beautiful beach! Truly enjoyed our wall on the beach and all the beautiful sites to see.
Waves were very high when we first arrived and were a little concerned about walking down the beach. Got lucky and was able to walk around the corner and a large beach area presented itself to us!!!
Probably took over 100 photos between the 2 of us in an hour.
Magical place and I look forward to going back during the spring or summer.

Great little beach! Access is ok, just use caution on the rocky parts, no handrails. Great beach for rockhounding!

Such a neat beach to go to! It has a beautiful off leash dog park right across the beach, and it has a nice disc golf area. The beach is a little rough to descend into on the rocks and gravel, but once you get down it’s so cool to explore the shore. There isn’t sand anywhere, but the entire shore is covered in tiny rocks. So cool!!

Great place to go to the beach with easy access. Slightly sloped path will get you right down to the water. While I was there I had the beach all to myself. Dog loved it and should be leashed. It was a wonderful day ☺.

Nice, quiet beach, not too busy. No handicap access, and not as sandy as Harris Beach, but it has it's own unique features.

Somewhat hidden but a nice little beach. Although it has rocks, they're small rocks like gravel sized. Great spot overall and has benches but no bathroom.

This place is beautiful. Not a soul to be seen when we went in September. We originally wanted to come here for the dog. Got here, no dogs in the dog park. Went down by the water, came back up and tons of dogs were there for him to play with. Clean, but lots of sand flies and wasps in the dried kelp.

Even though it was very smoky from recent fires in the area we had a nice walk with the dogs. It was quiet and peaceful and not crowded at all.

*not easily accessible* beautiful rocky beach, great dog park, but you will need to be pretty mobile and have good shoes.

Great place to take the kids. They loved seeing all the different colored rocks, play in the waves and even climb the bigger rocks on the shore.

This is a special beach for my family and I, it was the last beach I visited with my brother before he passed and I decided to have his celebration of life there, the scenery is beautiful and when the sun is shining it's nice and warm, I go every chance I can. There is some really cool driftwood and agates. Not a lot of traffic also, I don't recommend swimming for children at this beach

My dog and I were so thankful for this stop. I wanted a safe place for my dog to run after a long travel in the car. I usually keep her on leash everywhere we go during a travel for precaution. Thank goodness for this dog park because my pooch loved the sea breeze and salty air while she ran wild in the fenced dog park/area. I too was able to breath in fresh air and enjoy the sound of the waves knowing my fur babe was safe and could play. We did walk down to the beach. I’d recommend wearing rain boots down there as the pebbles got into my keen Sandles and made it very uncomfortable to walk or run with my pup. Everything g else though was beautiful and spectacular 🙂 of you have dogs consider this stop.

Beautiful, was told about McVay Rock State Park that very morning as I was leaving Clifford Kamph Memorial Park and had to check it out. Just about 3 miles North of Clifford. Beautiful beach of rocks. Didn't have time to check out tide pools but going back real soon. Pretty easy to get down to.

Gravel dirt driveway and parking lot has difficult access down to beach but mostly is a dog park big fenced zone area with a few chairs to let your dogs walk free very uneven grass gets muddy in winter and cold being right next to ocean beautiful area no city buildings nearby big enough to hold 50+ dogs max I've seen was 20 some odd dogs. Worth coming to let dogs roam free about the best you can say.

This beach is not sandy but more rocky/pebbly. Shoes recommended. There's a little waterfall from a creek outlet, a huge tree stump, and tidepools. We found quite a few pieces of sea glass too.

Wonderful, not highly trafficked beach. Solitude. Beautiful beach with stunning waves and surf. There’s even a small cave, but you have to find it!

It's close to home, a clear path except winter. I collect some driftwood for my wife's art and rocks she paints and leaves at local beaches. On a lucky day you can find some nicely polished glass.
