Dan is the man. My first time there Dan was working he makes a mean burger. Took my son there for his birthday great place great food. Thanks Dan your the man. Mario was cool as well we talked about sports will definitely be back the best experience I've had at any bar in town

I earned the name "Dive Bar Deb" by visiting quite a few roadside establishments & this one did not disappoint. Was in town for their Taco Tuesday & the food far exceeded my expectations. Good food, good drinks & good crowd. A must stop if you're in town or driving thru.

I do not say that lightly! I ordered Western burger w/ mayo and jalapeños! So good I had to brag! You will not find a better bar! Great Food & Great Folks! A place you will want to call home!

It is a great "neighborhood" bar scene. Regulars are often there. I'm an every 2 week Customer. Bar keeps are friendly and gracious. Tasty food specials. My fav is the Reuben. deejay on occasion with good oldies. Cheap beer prices! 👍

We love a good dive bar and this is most definitely that! The bacon burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a big place and has outdoor seating. Video gambling if that’s your thing. Pool tables and a dance floor. I saw a jumbo set of jenga too. After a super fun but expensive night our card had some extra charges on it, so we went back the next day and the owner Austin cleared it right up, with comp drinks while we waited. It’s nothing fancy, just a great dive with a good vibe. We come to Brookings often and we will definitely be back!

my favorite bar and food is fantastic. just good old home type bar where everyone is welcome and slots are great not to tight you can win. staff is even better

I've always had great experiences at this bar & have made a lot of good memories here! All the bartenders thru the years have been great besides 1 lady & she still currently works there. The owners are thoughtful loving and kind. When Samantha, one of the bartenders passed away they went above and beyond to help with everything & raise $ for her. They even set up a trust with money at the local veterinarian's for her dog & her friend who took him in. I highly recommend

Best bartenders I've seen or had any where they make any drink that you want them to and they are delicious.

Went for taco Tuesday! Some of the best crispy tacos I've ever had! Tons of different hot sauces, even habanero!

Great dive bar with an awesome vibe. Greeted with 2 sweet dogs on the smoking patio which immediately cheered us up after a long stressful drive. Cheap drink prices. Overall we had a very good experience here!

4 TVs, super friendly and welcoming bartenders who cooked up a delicious bacon cheeseburger-fries and good inexpensive beer! I’ll be going back!

Heather cooked our T-bone steak to perfection; i did not need a knife and literally picked it up and ate as I tore it off the bone.
This is a must-have; the 🥔 was mmm great and salad , simply a winner.

You cannot find a better atmosphere nor better people than you will find here! The prompt friendly service , ice cold beer , and delicious food make this place a quick favorite in the hearts of many!

The 101 is Family Owned ,Family Ran with close Friends working there too,We recently had a Class Reunion there and they totally went out of their way to make the Atmosphere Amazing,Great food,Great Service and Awesome Family!!

Great bartenders the atmosphere in here at times is awesome better than I can say for most bars Monday nights is steak night steak and potatoes it is phenomenally good Tuesday night is taco night which are awesome every once in a while they have a band come play they've had some pretty good bands that the last few times they've had bands there they have karaoke night it's pretty fun all in all it's just a great place to relax and enjoy some time with your friends and have some good food and drinks

I enjoy playing the game at the 101 Bar & Grill. I usually win good but last week I pretty much broke even. The bartender is amiable. I think you'd enjoy going there also.
