Salon Povera

As soon as you walk into the salon you are greeted with a warm welcome. I have been going to this salon for several years to get an ashy blonde color for my rather dark Asian hair. Patrick was very attentive and explained the process could take a while so we don’t ruin my hair with too much bleaching. After many months I have the perfect color and cute angled bob to go with it. He gives my hair volume and style and I leave feeling like a brand new person. I’ve also had a cut and color with Eric and he also does an excellent job. The entire team here makes me feel valued and pampered at every visit. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. It's evident that they genuinely care about their clients and strive to provide the best experience possible.

I would highly recommend Tricia Howard. I have been going to her for almost a year now and she is wonderful. She has great customer service, professional and strives to understand what look you are trying to obtain. She takes care of all my hair needs. She also colors my hair, highlights and retouches my roots. And I get compliments everyday when I go out. She just did my latest color last week. And that very day I had three compliments. I chose Salon Povera for my first ever hair coloring appointment and Jada was an absolute MAGICIAN! She was able to create the perfect color, explained the entire process to me, and even gave me some lovely beach waves when the color was set! She is incredible and the rest of the staff was so kind and encouraging. Truly an incredible experience! 💜💜💜

I was greeted quickly, offered water while I waited for service and met with the best hospitality. I enjoyed my exprience with Patrick and love my haircut. I highly recommend and will be going back for my next trim.

They are just simply amazing!! I do not have enough nice things to say about Tice. She did just an amazing job fixing my hair from a previous bad hair coloring. She was able to completely transform my hair and achieve the exact look I was going for, though it was a drastic transformation. Both Patrick and Tice are fun, warm and made me feel so comfortable. Their communication via phone and email is amazing, and quick. The salon is clean and all staff wear masks, gloves. 100% recommend them.

I really love my hair! Nice people, very good professionals, clean place, following all the covid-19 care and instructions. 5 stars no doubt!!! Fyi: I got a balayage full or partial, not sure, and yes, you can't see much but that's how I wanted. Just some chocolate color, since I never colored my hair before haha

Subzero cryotherapy for my seriously dry hair! Highlights and a perm did some damage and these guys fixed it! Basically like brand new hair from a baby horse! All for a super reasonable price! Love these guys! Will be back soon ❤❤❤

Love this salon. Patrick is a true professional, who listens to what I want and is able to deliver. It's so nice to have someone I can trust to make bold changes. The rest of the staff are so friendly, too, and make you feel right at home. So happy I found this place!

This was exactly the type of salon experience I look for! Patrick is a Goldwell color expert, and Eric is an amazing emerging stylist. Everyone in the salon is friendly and I felt super pampered and left with a much-needed hair makeover that has me feeling confident again. If you want good hair this is the spot!

I have been going to this wonderful salon for 2 years! The staff is very friendly and all of the hairstylists are experienced and competent. I have had services done from four of the hairstylists and have been pleased every time. Currently Jada is my stylist and I can't say enough good about her and her skills. I left the salon this afternoon after color, shampoo, and a cut so thankful for Jada and Salon Povera that I just had to write a raving review!
I recommend this business to all ages and genders!

Skye colored my hair today. I needed to get rid of my grays and wanted to go darker. My grays are now gone and my hair is a pretty shade of brown. I felt like Skye was really attentive to my hair. She also cleaned it up for me. I look forward to seeing how my hair does these next few weeks.

I absolutely love this salon! I got my hair cut by Eric and he did an AMAZING job, I am literally obsessed. Everyone there is always so so nice each time I've been in, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Thank you, Skye, for what might have been the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life! Skye didn’t just blindly give me the haircut I showed her photos of- she asked questions about my hair type and lifestyle, and then tailored my desired haircut to my specific needs and hair type. I was left with a cut that looks amazing with or without styling, and really fits me as a person! I have tried many times over the years to get this exact haircut at many salons, but never left feeling 100% satisfied. Skye is the first person that got it exactly right and totally understood what I was asking for! She also washed/styled my hair with amazing high end products.

The salon itself is small but doesn’t feel cramped, and all the stylists seem to have a friendly, talkative, down to earth energy. I got very lucky and they were able to fit me in super last minute on Memorial Day weekend after they had a last-minute cancellation, which I was so grateful for! The prices are on par with other high end salons (my haircut was $60)- 100% worth it for a haircut that was tailored to me, looks effortlessly gorgeous, and from a stylist who has perfected their craft. I’ll definitely be coming back!

while in my hair. I am SO grateful for the thoughtful detail, conversation, guidance, and energy from Katie at Salon Povera! She makes her artistry and talent look effortless. The whole experience was just a dream. The staff so clearly cares about all of their guests, remembering each face that entered personally. I was able to give Katie some moderate guidance and let just her do her magic... Perhaps the best decision I've made all year! As an added bonus, my hair actually smells wonderful! I am so used to leaving a salon and having my senses taken over for days by whatever chemicals used, but of course not at Salon Povera.
