Alan and his crew at Smooth Moves went above and beyond for our move. Our move went very smoothly moving our goods from Maui to the mainland. Even though we were not on Maui Alan was able to help coordinate the packing and shipping of our goods to the mainland. Best of all his crew was able to safely and securely fit all of our belongings into 1 UPack when we thought we needed two! Alan went above and beyond with customer service to provide a great moving experience.

Alan and his team were great! They were very careful with our items, courteous, and efficient. The quote I received from Alan was also accurate and very affordable. Especially when compared to larger moving companies. It was also great to call a business and deal directly with the owner instead of a call center. To me this means I get quality service that someone really cares about. Without paying extra for overhead for call centers and extra employees I was encountering the latter with larger moving companies. Overall I suggest Smooth Moves Maui to anyone needing help to move. They give you the best of both worlds in terms of value and service.

Moving my 4 bedroom home in California to Maui was no easy task. Researching movers with price ranges that were more than I was comfortable with then I found Alan. He is friendly, honest, supportive, I was so surprised at his realistic price that it was hard to believe. Alan's team at Smooth Moves were exceptional in the way they professionally handled my furniture and boxes. They got a lift gate with out me asking them to. This was the highest form of quality care. Smooth movers accommodated our scheduling needs, showed up at the time scheduled, 3 friendly, clearly experienced guys ready to work. They efficiently moved our items from our upstairs unit to the truck, and then to our new location. treating all of our items with respect. Alan and his team were absolutely wonderful when they helped me with my move from one home to another. He was extremely responsive, flexible and understanding with my schedule and his team showed up right on time and loaded up all my belongings quickly, efficiently, and most importantly, extremely careful. I chose Smooth Moves based off of a recommendation from a trusted friend, and I am very pleased to say this company lives up to every bit of the reputation they've earned! The moving coordinator was outstanding. Very thoughtful, helpful, answered all of my questions and concerns easily and above all, friendly! On the day of the move, the crew arrived on time and went above and beyond to make sure the move was as fast and pleasant as possible. Items were packed carefully, and the crew was very patient as I worked to find the place for them in my new home. I really cannot say enough about this company. I would highly recommend Allan and his crew to anyone getting ready for a move or just need to get furniture and other items delivered or stored!

Alan and his team are entirely professional. They have completed two local moves for me and I will certainly use them again when and if I move in the future. The rate is more than competitive, as Alan offered a lower rate than any other local mover I contacted (four at a conservative estimate for the first move---I didn't check with anyone else for the second. I know excellence when I encounter it!). They were punctual, polite, friendly, and careful of my belongings.

Mine were small local moves, first from a one bedroom apartment to a one bedroom 'ohana about eight miles away and the second to a larger cottage less than five miles away. Both were completed in about three hours. They even offered to help me move things from my own car into the house beyond the three hour limit, after the clock had stopped and they had already been paid. Alan has clear communication, is always on time, and is entirely trustworthy. Two complete moves and no accidents, no damage. I will certainly call Alan when I need to move again. I recommended Alan and his team at Smooth Moves Maui for a client that was moving back to the mainland. Logistically is was incredibly challenging up to and including finding a place park the container and scheduling a specialized forklift to load the clients car into the container. Even more impressive was the way in which Alan and his entire team treated my elderly and overly worried clients with an unbelievable amount of patience and respect.
