Flatbread Company

We resisted going to Flatbread Company for years because getting pizza in Hawaii seemed wrong, but wow! I'm so glad we finally went for an early dinner. The atmosphere is super chill and welcoming, and they use almost all local ingredients. Their salad is so good! Whatever the vinaigrette is... 🤤 We shared two pizzas and they were both really good. Next year we'll be back!

The best vegan pizza I have ever had!
Normally the cheese is a giveaway that it's plant based but not here! It was so well done and flavorful I enjoyed every bite. Very friendly staff and the dynamite lemonade was a very nice addition to my meal.
If you can make a stop here, do it! You won't be let down 🍕

I know it feels weird to get pizza in Hawaii...but this place is AMAZING!!. We had the Pa'ia Bay Ohana and it was probably the best pizza I've ever had. So good that we came back for dinner the next day! Service is quick and you can do half and half to try new things. You can also make your own pizza. Definitely a must visit spot, consider stopping by after doing the Road to Hana or after going up to Haleakala for sunset. That's what we did. No wait on our weekdays! I'm going to be dreaming about this pizza until my next visit

One of the best wood fired pizza. They have lots of options. The hosts were kind and helpful. If possible try Alfredo sauce. The cost was adorable. They have like family style Resturant. The vibe is awesome.

Really great wood fire pizza! We ordered two large - one for the kids (half cheese, half pepperoni) and the special for me and my husband. Nice thin crust and excellent toppings! No wait for a table and didn't wait long for our pizzas. Leftovers came home with us.

I had the Cuban MY GOD SOOOOO LEGIT! We were in Italy this past summer and this IS as good as some of the Pizzas we ate there.
Far better than any Pizza I have had back home in San Diego, CA.
And if you get Zach the experience will be Super Legit.

Best pizza I have had in a long time. Was recommended to try the Mopsy’s. We did half chicken half pork. Also had the cheese with hamburger. Fresh ingredients. Dough made and crust thrown right there. Then the wood fired pizza oven was nice. Pizza cooked to perfection.

Fantastic pizza! Thin crust and lots of options. Mopsy's Kalua pork is what they are most famous for and it is so tasty, definitely recommended!! The Pele pesto was also very good. Service is helpful and courteous. You can do half and half (two kinds on one pizza). They just have a large 16" and small 12" size. The lemonade is fresh and tart - worth getting!

It's a popular place so you may need to wait for a table (we waited 15 mins) I'd recommend putting your name on the list and then checking out some of the nearby shops. Slightly expensive but that is to be expected for the location and high quality pizza 😋

It was SO GOOD!!! Top 2 pizza in my life!!! It is not traditional. We got the pizza with pork, I think it was called the Hawaiian. It was AMAZING!

Ever trip to Maui we make a special trip to Paia just to eat at the Flatbread Company! It’s so good!!!

Excellent pizza. My favorites were the mopsy and the special carne spicy bee. Server Amy was amazing. She knew her stuff and was prepared so that we didn't have to call her over for help.

The locals were right. We asked around and people kept mentioning this place. Great food. Great service. We'll definitely be back to Flatbread. The menu has a decent amount of specialty pizzas and enough variety for to cover whatever your feeling like. I had Jay's Heart and added pepperoni. It was perfect.

The service is friendly, and the ambiance is relaxed. I'd say it's great for family dinners or casual outings with friends. The pizzas are made with quality locally sourced ingredients, and the crust strikes a balance between crispy and chewy. Not a fancy place but had a perfect low key Maui vibe. Definitely one you should check out.

Did not eat there so I'm not sure about the food but it sure did smell good but the service was great the atmosphere was wonderful the smell of smoked food was amazing

We Always stop here for food when visiting Paia. Never disappointed. Didn't get pic of Mopsy's Kalua Chiken flatbred nor their salad, but the asthetics were mouth-watering.

We absolutely loved this place!! We had two pizzas (pepperoni and mushrooms and the P.E.) and both were delicious!! The service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy! Regarding prices, one large pizza for two people costs roughly $25, which I think is reasonable. Highly recommend it!!

We as a family really enjoy a good pizza. We were not disappointed by the recommendation from a cruise ship officer to try this local pizza establishment while visiting Paia near Maui, HI. The pizza you see here pictured is Joe's Heart and was awesome with the house made fresh herb topping! Wonderful brick oven taste, and just be mindful there may be a 15-20 minute wait because they have a great reputation there. Park off stree if you can as the main road parking creates a challenge and is usually full. Convenient wood log waiting benches on the outside of the restaurant for your convenience while waiting to be texted when your table is ready!

Ordered the signature Mopsy’s pizza! It’s amazing fresh baked, and delicious - fresh ingredients and the thickness of the crust is just nice! Free flow soft drinks and really well-made ice cream!

I’ll definitely visit again!

This was the first place we stopped for food once reaching the island, and I have to say, it was incredible. My wife and I are big pizza connoisseurs, so we like to think that we know when pizza is actually good or not.

For Flatbread Company, it's fantastic. We had a split pizza with half Pork and Pineapple and the other half tomatoes and veggies on it. Both sides were absolutely delicious. The pizza is definitely a thin crust style, and from the pictures, you can see that the crust does cook extremely well and turns into this crunchy, savory treat.

The drinks we had were also exceptional, and the beer selection at the restaurant will definitely have something you will enjoy.

As for the restaurant itself, it's this unique beach/surfer vibe yet really chill, with dark wood throughout, the pizza oven where you can see it and watch the cooks do their work, and a generally relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We definitely recommend Flatbread Company!

Everything here was great!
Our server was top notch! I wasn't quite sure what I wanted, but he was able to give me both food AND drink recommendations!
The pizza I got was a spicy pork and it was the perfect amount of spicy! My wife's pizza was a supreme type, with a bit of everything on it. The pizza was cooked perfectly!
The salads we started with were enormous!
Their specialty drinks were nice and stout, but delicious!

My wife and I had a couple of beers, a single salad order and a small pizza with half barbecue and half pesto. Everything was delicious and our waiter Franz was a great host! I would recommend both pizzas, but definitely the barbeque if you like goat cheese.
