Maui Beach Hotel

This is where I stay in Maui! It is a nice place. Quiet Beach shore, large garden area. It was great all around. I do wish there were more art in the rooms and hallways. Close to malls and restaurants.

Friendliest property I have ever stayed at. This property has some age but it is maintained very well. Stayed on property 10 days total. Never seen any bugs as the other reviews stated (I was all over this property, never had an issue). The rooftop pool was great for relaxing and the courtyard bubble cabanas were perfect for me and the wife to hang out. Rooms are economically sized and the suites are large for families ( if you can get it room 222 has the greatest view on the property). Don’t let someone’s impatience or sense of entitlement keep you from experiencing the hospitality of this property. Hands down nicest staff I have ever met. Everyone might have a different experience, but I stand firm behind my review of Maui Beach Hotel! Absolutely love this property!

The girls - Lala and Nilza at the front desk were extraordinary people because they were so accommodating, friendly, and truly cared about our stay there. They wanted to ensure our stay was relaxing and fun. Lala and Nilza's knowledge of the restaurants and Maui were extraordinary! We felt like they were family to us. Thank you for hiring such fine individuals! You are fortunate to have them on your team!

10 stars if I could. Close to the airport, super clean rooms, good view for fairly cheap. Great location and property with all sorts of fun things to do. Great staff and hotel employees that care. Late checkout upon request. Hertz Car rental desk in the lobby.

I booked on the Hopper App as I do with all my travel and saved about $100 per night, all I had to do when I checked in was pay a $20 resort fee.

If your coming from the states, think Motel 8. We were able to book a room last minute for 325. It had a couple of beds, ac, and was extremely clean except for the carpets/ paint touch ups. The rooms and building are very old, but in a decent neighborhood and they offer security. Front desk is hit or miss on friendly but the lady that completed our stay was super helpful and made a stressful situation much better!! They upcharge for every little thing as its ran more as a "resort". The garden area is so relaxing and the beach is literally a few steps away. As I stood and watched the sun set over the land and water a little crab appeared to say hi and then ran into the sea. Its not a bad place to stay, especially for the price and location.

The staff was great. It is in a great location. The coconut told me it was gonna be a great day and it was. I figured he was also like a magic 8 ball or a psychic and attempted to ask him about my love life, but he just looked at me like I was the nut!

Overall super cheap and great place to escape when your family comes to visit and you need to get out for a bit. Closer to Hana if you’re into that narrow road knuckle driving, annoying the locals, and missing out on the best parts of Maui and the native culture. Also, read the history of Hawaii before visiting. It will serve you well throughout your trip! 🌺❤🎸

Firstly, the hotel gets 5 stars because it was clean, safe, convenient, and staff was awesome. The pool table and garden areas were great. I enjoyed sunset outside and the fire pit area.

For the price (about $600/night less than everywhere else) this was PERFECT. Convenient to everything with a clean (albeit dated) room.

I found the feeling of it being older quite charming. It’s like stepping back into 1950’s Kahului. Loved it!

Nice, cozy hotel. Very clean. The bed I slept on, though, was a little dented in. Wonderful AC, family friendly. The breakfast buffet was good, fresh watermelon and pineapple chunks, scrambled eggs, pork sausage, bacon, fried rice, toast (you make your own). Nice pool.

7 mins from the airport, the pool and court yard are perfect on a nice sunny day. Great restaurants are really close by

Beach front and walkable to many restaurants and a short drive from the airport. The staff is friendly and helpful with any needs or suggestions.

Good food at the buffet. It's only open on weekends from my understanding though. But yeah, great hotel. Nice central location, best price on Maui and friendly staff. I have zero complaints. They gave us "free" Maui beach hotel water bottles at check in too

Place was nice enough, overall pleasant stay. Don't be mislead as most places do offer complementary breakfast, this hotel does not unfortunately! Would have been nice to of been told that before we were welcomed to dine in.

Road to Lahaina was closed due to fire. This was the only place we could find. Front desk lady was super friendly even though you could tell she was slammed. Check in was quick and our rooms were decent for the price. Ac kept the room very cold.

Since we planned to enjoy all the activities Maui has to offer more than stay at the hotel this was the perfect place for us. This hotel is centrally located and had a peaceful, calm beach to walk on in the moonlight. The room was simple but very clean and had a very comfortable bed with very quiet neighbors the entire week we stayed here. Above all the hotel staff is truly fantastic, always going above and beyond to be accommodating and kind. We highly recommend!

WARNING - If you book online and think that's the price you will be paying WRONG - Expect to pay a resort fee, and another fee for parking or $25-$30 more. To the owner, why do you do this to your guests? It only makes you look bad and ruins your guest's stay.
Future guests: Maui is very expensive, and the rates here are reasonable. This is an older which must have at one time been very nice that's been updated. Found room and property to be well kept and clean. The staff was very nice. It's near the airport, but no airport noise. Close to Whole Foods and several restaurants. I think the rate they are charging is fair and reasonable for Maui which is why I'm giving it 5 stars. Tacky they add on a resort fee, parking fee and I think a fee to use WiFi for stuff I did not use.

We stayed here for one night after our flight got cancelled. Staff is super nice, friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was included, very good food. The backyard is very peaceful, with views of the water and beach access. Pool is also nice, overall great value!

Excellent staff and rooms were decent. The hotel offers beach access and the courtyard is well maintained. Free airport shuttle service is a plus since the cost of ride share service or taxis can be expensive. The restaurant next door, Tantes has some great food too.

We only had the chance to stay one night but loved the view out the back of the hotel and quick access to the beach. Check in was easy and friendly and even though it was late we were able to grab a quick bite at the restaurant where the food was quite tasty. We would love to stay longer in our next trip.

Nice little quaint hotel. Definitely one of those "don't judge a book(hotel) by its cover" (external appearance). Rooms are tidy and clean. Would recommend for a weekend get away. Parking lots was okay but could be a managed a little bit better.

Amazing place with an amazing view. I love this hotel and the staff is amazing as well.
