All the dishes were over the top. Honorable Michelin 🌟 Stars 🌟. In the top three of all our dining experiences throughout the world. Better than Jules Verne for half the price.
Price is absolutely worth the experience and the culinary delights. Wine pairings spot on.

Nylos is amazing! The intimate ambience, the beautiful cuisine presentations, the elevated wine pairings and every detail were perfect for an elevated dinner experience. WOW. Seriously amazing food, easily one of the best experiences we've enjoyed in a long time. Chef Jeremy is hugely talented and Paulina is so gracious. Every dish was delicious with exquisite attention to detail, with very thoughtful wine pairings and a perfectly cozy atmosphere, and great tunes to complete the experience. I may move to Maui just to dine here regularly. Cheers!! =)

Fine dining in an interactive and intimate setting. Food was nothing short of fantastic with everything from the creativity in the presentation to the phenomenal taste experience and the perfectly paired wines. We will definitely be back

All I can say is run don’t walk to this amazing restaurant!! It’s truly a fantastic dining “experience”, with incredible food and terrific service. To be able to interact with Chef Jeremy, and have him describe the fantastic dishes he is preparing right in front of you was so enjoyable. We really loved the chill vibe atomosphere and listening to the classic rock music while enjoying dinner. We will without a doubt return here every time we come back to Maui!!

I rarely write reviews but I made an exception for nylos. This is one of the most special dining experiences I’ve had in my life. Every course you eat is so complex and using the best high quality ingredients available. My wife and I ate at some of the most popular restaurants all across Hawaii, but this restaurant takes the cake. The owners are a husband and wife team and couldn’t be more delightful people. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine dining

Outstanding small fine dining place, with just a couple of fixed-time, fixed-menu sittings for dinner. Although not cheap, this was more than made up for by the repeated inventiveness of the dishes. Super friendly team. Great wine pairings (we tried both of them), with one minor exception. Definitely on the list to return to.

2022-03 update: if anything, better than the previous two times. Definitely Michelin star quality.

My sweet husband found Nylos for our 25th anniversary dinner. It is very intimate only 5 tables. The talented chef and staff prepare the food in the kitchen, which is the other part of the same room separated by a counter. You can see the chef working. It feels like the food is being prepared for you in particular. Each course is described in such exquisite detail by the server, who happens to be the chef’s sweet wife. The food was uniquely crafted, prepared with such attention to detail that every flavor complemented every other flavor on the plate. They also had a well appointed wine pairing for each course. The chef comes out to greet his guest. We started at 5:00PM finished at 8:15PM. It was a culinary masterpiece experience!

The best kept secrets are usually spread through word of mouth. From one friend to another, @nylosmaui is an experience you deserve. I couldn’t imagine a more intimate dinner- Mrs. Solyn (yes, nyloS spelled backwards) was our incredible host, detailing each piece of art her husband prepared while pouring some of the most incredible wine I’ve ever had… ever. I can’t tell which course was my favorite because every single plate deserves all the praises! The menu switches up based on available ingredients and whatever Chef Jeremy’s #mood is for the day. Love, love, LOVE! The only word I can think to describe our 3 hour dining experience is pure Artistry. We’ll definitely be back!

Impressed by every detail of the experience at NyloS with Chef Jeremy and Matt. Beautifully created courses with incredible wine pairings. Excellent service, absolutely delicious food, great people. Chef’s menu and appx three hour course presentations.

This is a fantastic restaurant run by fantastic people. They push the envelope with their flavors and succeed in wonderful but surprising ways. We will definitely be back next time we are in Maui. We stayed all the way over in West Maui, and made the worthwhile drive anyway. We will be recommending this place to all friends and family who may be visiting.

Best dining experience! Maui seems to be the land of mediocre food at an expensive price but this literally was one of the best meals we have had anywhere. It’s a prefix coursed experience operated by a lovely husband and wife team. Everything is executed perfectly, best steak I’ve ever had. Just awesome, don’t miss it. Only a few seats in the whole place so make a res in advance.

Excellent experience if ypure ever in Maui. I found this place when looking for nice restaurants on the island. They do two seatings. One at 5pm and one at 8pm. I choose the 5pm. When making my reservation I requested dessert first (whuch they had no problem accommodating).

I was a tad late for my reservation because I was driving from Hana. I called about 10times because I didn't want to miss out on my deposit. Although no one ever answered, when I arrived (about 20mins behind). The waiter let me know that he received my voicemail. They run a small operation. There was only the chef, one waiter and a dishwasher. The restaurant seats about 14 people but it helps with keeping the experience intimate. I was able to have conversations with the waiter, the chef and other people dining. Some even got up to watch the chef plate meals.

For details about the menu for the evening please review my pictures. Some things I liked more than others but everything was great. I made the mistake of eating too much earlier in the day so I was already too full when I got there. The portions are comfortable so please go with an appetite.

I do reccomend this place for a nice solo dinner or a date night.

Chef Jeremy did an amazing job for our anniversary! We could not have asked for a better experience which is what dining at Nylos is like, "an experience" that you will never forget. From the first course to the last course, everything was perfect and Matt was a fantastic waiter with tons of knowledge on whatever questions were asked to him. We highly recommend Jeremy's restaurant, you will be extremely pleased and there is no other place on Maui like it! Sean + Katie

Yum, Tasty, and a nice departure from the island norm. (Pics are in red because the light above me was red) Wine pairings were great, definitely get if you go. Quality of food is super high, and the price is more than fair for what your getting!

Fantastic! Amazing!  Absolutely the best meal we've ever had on Maui (this is our ninth time).  This restaurant is quaint, intimate and unassuming. Just you, four other tables, the chef and maître d' / server (the wonderful wife of the chef).  3 courses, plus an oversized amuse-bouche. For us this was a truly unique experience in that everything was prepared by the chef, no sous chef or support.  The attention to detail was perfection. The service was second to none - we were visited by the chef several times (e.g. to check on the doneness of the meat).  The masterpiece was the flavor - incredible, absolutely phenomenal.

We, literally, hugged the chef and his wife at the end of the meal to thank them for such an amazing experience.  This ranks among our top 3 meals we've ever experienced.

Unbelievable chef’s tasting menu in a funky little town by the beach. The chef and server were extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. Accommodating for any food allergies. And put together one hell of a meal. Skip the $120 a head luau and go here instead - but make sure to make reservations well in advance.
