Thai Mee Up

I got the the fried pork ribs and my husband got the chicken satay. Both were very tasty and well seasoned! The serving size is very generous and a nice place to sit and eat. I especially liked the papaya salad. We had a long layover and this was close by and a perfect lunch with nice ambiance :-)

I went back for more Chicken Satay but had a different experience this time. I paid around $14.00 and it was half the chicken I usually get. Instead of 7 or 8 pieces (3 bites per piece), it was 3 pieces and 2 small bite-sized pieces. I don't typically gripe about portion size, however, the price for the quantity was really out of ballance this time. This is not the usual experience that I have at Thai Me Up. I'll go back again and see if this is the new standard.
Great food truck across the street from Costco. Tkai Mee Up has the best Thai food on Maui, in my opinion. I always get 2 items, and 1 is always the Pad Thai.

Located in a food truck park right next to the airport with lots of different options for food. Covered picnic tables for seating. Great friendly customer service. Food was amazing. Clean. Most affordable meal we had while visiting Maui.

I was looking forward to this food for over a week after finding it on google maps. Did. Not. Disappoint. Everything we sampled was amazing and the food we ordered was simply the best Thai food we’d ever had. I would come back to this island for this food alone.

There is always a line here. I came here 3 nights in a row and I always waited in a bit of a line. That’s how you KNOW it’s great food! Dare I say, this was THE BEST curry I’ve had in my years and years and years of ordering curry. I also tried the pad thai which ranked high up on my list as well! Parking around here isn’t easy, but be patient and you’ll catch someone walking to their “barcode” rental car. Truly incredible Thai food in the heart of The Triangle!

This food truck court is right next to the hotel we are staying at so we decided to check it out. We liked Thai Mee Up so much we went there 2 days in a row LOL. The pad thai and the curry are gluten free and it's the best pad thai I've had in years. The portions were large, the food was on point and it was the least expensive meal we've had on the island. It was one of those meals that 6 months from now, when you want Thai food, you'll wish you could go back.

One of the best fried rice I ever ate. Lemongrass chicken was nice and light.
Service is fast and friendly. Prices are cheap.

One of the best food truck and Thai food experiences. We had the pad Thai with chicken and the crispy garlic shrimp. Both were 100/10!!

Was pleasantly surprised with the food. Everything was flavorful and the food came out pretty quick. We got pad thai w/ tofu (spice level 5), pad see ew w/ tofu, green curry w/ tofu, and garlic salmon. Personally, spice level 5 was a perfect amount of spice for me - just enough heat but not too spicy.
The bonus with this location is that there is a covered area with benches.

Oh my, Pad Thai! I've never been here before (because I don't live in Maui) but I will go back. Great food, awesome value. The Thai tea is great too.

We stopped by the food truck stop by the costco.

We’ve heard many good things about this place and it lived up to the hype! Juicy pork ribs and amazingly seasoned veggie dishes. Highly recommend this place if you’re hungry after you land.

Quick note, the ground is just loose gravel so if you have a large suitcase, you may struggle a tad bit.

You can Thai Mee Up any time! Seriously though, they have some incredibly delicious food & I can be somewhat picky. Personally, I like my food to be visually appealing & I need it to have flavor. Plus I like me some spice & they checked all my taste bud requirements. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai & I asked for it to be spicy. They asked how spicy from 1-10. I said 10 & dang if you like the kind of spicy where you take your first bite. Your eyes light up because your mouth is pleasantly surprised. Then with each bite you can taste the fire on your lips & the slight burn going down your throat. The kind of spicy where after a few minutes your nose is running & your eyes are about to water. Even that iced Thai tea to wash it all down was hella delicious too. I’ll definitely be back to support this business & I’ve already called up my spicy loving parents because they need this in their lives too. Thanks again for making this dinner a memorable one.

One of the best food trucks in Maui. We went there right after getting off the airplane, it was so good we went there again the next day.
Fried pork rib: rich flavor, green onion and garlic cancel out the unpleasant pork smile.
Lemongress fried chicken: the sweet spicy dipping is an important touch, chicken are tender.
Garlic Ahi: Tender and perfectly cooked.

Had the shrimp pad Thai - it was really good and spicy. Go for medium spice level.
Vegetarian Tofu options are available for most dishes on request. It’s right opposite Costco, so a great place for after grocery meal or before heading to the airport.

This was a surprise. The pad thai was one of the best we have had and this came out of a food truck. Perfectly seasoned and the rice noodles aren't soggy or too dry.

Fried rice also was flavorful. Just a bit lacking on the wok flavor.

Definitely will be back

We needed a quick bite before heading to the airport and this was it! We ordered one of their specials: drunken noodles with scallops and shrimp pad Thai from the regular menu. We ordered to-go and ate about an hour later after we got through security at the airport. It still tasted amazing! The banana leaf was a nice touch and prevented the hot noodles from sticking to the bottom of the to-go container. We asked for hot sauce on the side.
This is located in a food truck park so there are plenty of seats if you want to enjoy the food there. After we ordered we could definitely tell that this was a local favorite because the line was so long. Glad we stopped here before heading home!

Visited 2x during my week long stay in Maui. This place is the most popular in the food truck park. With the menu packed with tons of flavor and fresh ingredients, it’s really hard to choose just 1 dish!!! Must try: pad see ew FRESH RICE NOODLES with shrimp, salmon with vege, and fried pork. I can’t wait to come back to Maui just to visit Thai Mee Up again!!! 🥰

Great food and incredible prices for Maui! However we got here prime time for lunch on a Saturday and the Garlic Ahi was already gone, and seating is limited. I got the sautéed salmon with the green papaya salad (from the ahi dish) - I LOVED the salmon, so moist and the garlic sauce on top was excellent. One of my favorite fish dishes so far. The green papaya salad was not as flavorful as I’m used to. Still excellent overall.

You really can’t go wrong with this food truck. Good vibes with live music on a weeknight. Pad Thai and drunken noodles were phenomenal. There are so many other good things on their menu that we couldn’t get to try because we were so full, but we’ll definitely come back for more.

An absolute gem in Maui! We ate most of the meals on the menu because each dish was just so delicious! Friendly and quick service, won't break the bank, and each meal won't disappoint. Plus, the food truck park was never packed with people. Highly recommend a visit!
