Maui Veterans Cemetery

Sacred place for the nation, a Viet Nam Veteran and (daughter?) lovingly prepares a WWII grave (father's?) for Veterans Day! 11-10-19

Another beautiful location and cemetery on Maui. The astounding view is a great final way to thank the veterans for their sacrifice of time, energy and lives.

My father captain Leonard Thomas Gavin is buried here. I miss him everyday

This is a well maintained cemetery for Maui's veterans and their spouses.

The veteran cemetery is closed on the weekend and the weekdays there suppose too be open the gate so we can drive down but it closed the gate.How can loved ones go there too see there loved ones if the gate is closed everyday.My friend his Dad past away and his buried there and his mom cannot go visit his dad because she had COPD and they lock the gate.She cannot walk far.Was just like my mom too.But now she’s there with my Dad. I just don’t understand why is it like that.I only get too go on Weekdays cause I work weekends but there closed weekends anyways so you would think they be open on the weekdays right??

It so sad that when I got to Cementy the grass was cut and look like it been that way for some time I when home and got my weed eater and clean up my mom and dad crave. When I got to valley isle Memorial park it was so beautiful why can’t the county keep the veteran cemetery that nice so sad for all the moms on Mother’s Day very disrespect
