Satori

We'd been eating our way through Maui all week and we came here on a whim because the place we were originally going to have lunch wasn't taking walk-ins. For me (I can't speak for the rest of my family), this was the best meal I had during our entire trip. We all had different things and opted to share. The fish was great. You can't go wrong with any of the handrolls or poke bowls if you're into seafood; I recommend the fresh Marlin. However, the thing that stood out for me was, oddly, the Ramen bowl. My son, is a finicky eater. He's in that "no veggies" phase so when the soup came, we had to walk back up and request a kids' noodles and broth; which left the original Ramen bowl for the rest of the family to share! I loved it and ended up eating most of it! Next time we're on Maui, I'll be ordering the Ramen along with my handrolls!

POKE BOWL is primo the fresh ginger on the salad pushes it over the top GREAT! I will be back and let others know about your excellent food.

Amazing fresh food! I got the Lilikoi Spicy Tuna and the Ho’okipa rolls and my husband got the Satori Sushi Bowl and all were delicious. Fast service and great outdoor patio to relax on.

I got the roots on fire and the special which was a vegan roll with hamakua mushrooms. So tasty!

We ate outside in the rain (which is so Hawaii!), but were kept dry by the large umbrellas over the picnic tables. The food was delicious. I had a ramen bowl, my husband had the Shaman bowl. Lots of beautiful fresh vegetables, nice presentation, and an exquisite chocolate truffle for desert. 5 big stars.

Delicious fresh poke and hand rolls, with friendly service and a lovely tree-covered garden to eat in. (So much better than a dusty food truck parking lot!) And locally-made kombucha on tap, too.

Everything was delicious! Hand rolls, cucumber salad, miso soup. Great live music! 5-7pm Fri-sat. We timed it to get the music in in gorgeous Haiku weather. As locals we loved it!

Great food truck in a charming town. It’s very popular- there were a few of us waiting right when it opened and it seemed to be pretty packed the whole time we were there. Yummy, pretty bowls that are heavy on the veggies. Generous portions.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING, great atmosphere, food, and prices!! Guitar music playing in the background and open air picnic tables made for a nice eating experience. The chef had immaculate energy, calm, zen and was very helpful. The food was made quickly, we ordered the satori sushi bowl and poke bowl. They were scrumptious!! I especially recommend satori sushi bowl.

Awesome place to eat sushi. Recommended by a local who we met while at Jungle Zipline (Kudos to Sarah)! Ordered the special Unagi & Avocado hand roll, and it was delicious! Also had the spicy tuna hand roll which was really good. The presentation was good, the fish tasted fresh, and the rice & veggies were fresh. The outdoor seating was really comfortable, and also provided shade from the sun. The workers were helpful & pleaseant. If anyone visits this area, this sushi joint is a must!

OMG! Just drive there right now. The unagi wraps were amazing. Fresh, perfectly cooked and served with a smile. Great service and atmosphere in this Maui oasis.

Was told we had to try this place while in Hawaii! TRUST, IT DID NOT DISAPOINT(other than a few things I wanted to try were sold out). Get here early!! But get here!!!!🤘 Thank You Satori! Mahalo!!!!!

The spicy tuna roll and the grilled salmon hand roll were SO good! I had the mushroom too, mmmmmm! They made a California roll for my daughter even though it wasn’t on the menu. What a lovely place!

Food truck Sushi - so fun! Very fresh and authentic hand rolls. Not a huge selection of fish, but that seems reasonable considering that it is a food tuck. Plenty of outdoor shaded seating. Got a sushi bowl, 3 hand rolls, 2 seltzer waters and a miso soup for $70ish including tip.

An unexpected lunch in Makawao and we went to Satori. Set in a courtyard patio centrally located in Makawao this was an unexpected gem! Friendly service and fresh and flavorful foods. I had the ramen ( wow! Great ramen! Lots of fresh veggies and springy noodles in a ginger infused broth. Super yummy) and my companion had the unagi handroll. If you find yourself in the area, definitely worth a detour or a stop! We’ll happily be back for sure.

Rainbows in the air and amazing food to eat it can’t get much better. Would come back again and again.

Fresh veggie forward sushi and bowls. When we went, there was live music - not usually expected for a food truck!

The vegan sushi rolls were OUTSTANDING!🙌🤤 My husband & I tried the roots on fire & the green goddess rolls, seriously the most flavorful and beautiful rolls I've ever had.

We love supporting local restaurants, this place is a must visit spot on Maui.

Cute little outdoor seating area shaded by a huge tree too, great spot for lunch. We will definitely be back!!
