Dr. Chester is a remarkable doctor. He is caring, wealth of knowledge, sincere, helpful, patient, honest, and a true care giver. He has help me with my alcoholism in more ways than I can even explain. He has given me hope and helping me to achieve my goals. He is so passionate in what he does that it helps you believe you too can do this. I am doing this!!! He is my major support as I navigate and concur this journey. With the help of Dr. Chester I am hopeful and excited for my future. Thank you, Dr. Chester!

Absolutely the best pain management doctor I’ve ever worked with, and I have worked with many. Having had 36 (about to be 37) surgeries, my case is complicated and will be a life long journey for me. Doctor Chester works hard for his patients and the level of care is beyond what is the norm. He actually takes a personal interest in your life. He understands the mechanics of chronic pain AND dependence/addiction. He will never overprescribe but he also will never allow a person to be needlessly in pain, so he will always look for the best solution according to what is right for each individual. Obviously I don’t know the ins and outs of his other patients. What I’ve described has been my experience, and a positive experience it has been. I am so grateful for Dr Chester and his wonderful staff!

I was on vacation in Maui, and I was unable to get my prescription from home filled in Maui. I contacted Doctor Chester, filled out some paper work, and he was more than willing to work with my doctor and I. Doctor Chester went above and beyond to resolve the problem. In addition to resolve my issue, he is a great doctor. He took the time to sit down and discuss my current situation, and he provided recommendations and additional advice. To summarize, Doctor Chester has a great bed side manner, and he is willing to go above and beyond for his patients to ensure that they are receiving the proper care. I would recommend him to family and friends!

Dr. Chester is a phenomenal physician. He is extremely educated in his field and has a sensitive approach to his patients with a sense of understanding but also of urgency.... like hey.... "this is your life" attitude. He lets patients make decisions as needed but guides them along the right path whether it be pain driven or addiction. He is so knowledgeable it is amazing. I respect Dr. Chester more than I can put in words. This doctor turned my life around. I am so thankful for the impact he's had on my life and continues to have on my quality of life. Dr. Chester is an outstanding physician. Compassionate, professional, and intelligent! If he doesn’t have the answer, he will submit a referral to get you to a specialist who will. Very educated in meds and addiction. Always kind, cheerful, and willing to help in any way he can. Highly recommend! He has overseen my very ill mom’s pain management for 11 years and helping me through my disk disease for several years. He is 5 stars in my book!

Dr. Chester is a wonderful, intelligent doctor who TRULY cares about his patients total welfare. I can talk to him about any of my problems and he has amazing insight and helpful recommendations and resources to help me in everything that challenges me. He doesn't just turn to medications.......quite the contrary, he uses a multitude of resources.........literature, pamphlets......even apps to help his patients. He doesn't judge and is really a wonderful human being! I just can't say enough good things about this man!

Dr. Chester is one of the best people in the medical profession that I have ever been treated by. I have seen several doctors now that I'm getting older and have battled many health challenges, but out of all the doctors he is at the top of the list by far. He really does "get it" when it comes to understanding me and how best to treat my conditions both physically and emotionally.

Dr.Chester got me well taken care of through a lower lumbar spinal fusion. I was in hospital 5 days and they kept arguing about the medication and when I mentioned his name they straightened right up,one of them was a patient of his.His name had gravity in a almost helpless position and for this I’m eternally thankful.🥷

Dr.Chester is literally one of the only doctors I can say that I truly trust with my life, he’s extremely intelligent, fair, kind, knowledgeable, and always has your best interests and safety in mind.
He understands and prioritizes the quality of life of his patients, an extremely rare trait in today’s medical field. I wish all doctors could be like Dr.Chester, the world would be a better place.
He always asks the right questions and helps you figure out the cause of your pain or problem, he doesn’t just treat the symptoms or slap a bandaid on it. Most doctors I’ve been to have ignored my health concerns or what I have to say but Dr.Chester isn’t like that at all... He will never dismiss you or make you feel like your symptoms are insignificant, your pain/experience is always valid and acknowledged when you talk to him.
To sum him up in a geeky way, he’s the best possible combination of Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Spock in one person with several medical degrees (from almost every field of medicine possible) sprinkled on top.

Also, let me just say that Dr.Chester’s assistant, Kalei, is the most amazing and kind lady ever, she is singlehandedly running the office and organizing appointments/patients during covid right now and does it with a smile every day. Kalei goes above and beyond to help you with whatever she can and make sure you have everything you need for appointments ahead of time. Other google reviews on here about supposed “rude front desk staff” are certainly NOT referring to Kalei :)

I have honestly never had better results from pain than what I received from Dr Chester for about a decade plus. I highly reccomend him as good medical care on Maui was hard to find.
I had to relocate to the mainland and I have been in so much pain that I actually put on 50 lbs, due to inability to do much more than work. (hard enough) Fun came to a halt.
Still searching for help here, but the best I got was a $1500 back brace ( which I can't even work in) and more MRI's and months of waiting for appts with specialists.

For 15 tooth crushing, bone spliting years I dedicaited everything I had to 1st) Ice Hockey & then 2) Skiing. I have spent grueling sessions all over the U.S. with various Doctors & Dentists extracting, reinstalling, sewing, mending, or reattaching my body. I was introduced to opiates at a rather young age, & due to the taxing nature and extent of injuries, opiates became a regular, reliable friend over time. It was through the over prescribing of a rogue physician on Maui -Dr McDonald- and my own stupidity that opiates eventually took over & nearly ended my life. Dr. Chester is one of many to have treated me but only one of a few that I have ever felt who really cares about me, my health, and my future. He has all the trates I look for in a Doctor, but rarely find; super knowledgeable, compassionate, trustworthy, patient, & answers all my concerns with what always turns out to be the correct response. I'm sper grateful for this Doctor & his staff.

I have only gone to dr. Chester's office for a few months and he is already my favorite doctor. He is kind, relatabe, intellegent, and takes the time to answer all of my questions. The office staff is incredible as well. At his office I feel at home and there is no other doctor I would rather see. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I saw Dr. Chester during one of the worst times of my life. I found him to be knowledgable and caring and extremely helpful. He also listened to me which is something you don't see much of nowadays. His assistance was spot on correct. I highly recommend Dr. Chester.

after finding out i should have an emg and read up on them i was quite concerned. then there was the paper work which raised my level of uneasiness. to my great relief i found it all to be unfounded. he is and excellent docotor. he explains everything quite clearly. he has what would be we use to call an excellent bedside manner (i am not certain that it is still a common phrase).

he put me at ease as soon as we started to talk and i found him to be quite skillful. my whole exam was painless.
