David’s collection is unparalleled. We spent almost two hours exploring his vast collection that spans across multiple warehouses.

We found a dining table that’s a literal airplane wing, tons of eclectic furniture, jewelry, statement pieces that more than live up to the “Very Rich Dead People’s Stuff” name, and things I can’t even begin to describe with words.

There’s only one option: stop here if you’re anywhere in the area. If you don’t, you’re missing out and you’ll regret not going!

Another reason to visit is to meet David himself. He’s a charming man who’s filled to the brim with stories and experiences. When you buy something, he can tell you about exactly where he got it and the kind of person who used to own it.

How cool is that?! Definitely stop by and make some time so you’re not in a rush.

This place it amazing! David is so nice and helpful. I could spend all day here. We just missed Alice Cooper!

I just wish I had more time in the store! It was a wonderful walk through to see old tropical themed items. I left with a couple small things that could fit in my suitcase. I like that the paid admission reminds you that you are interesting a museum type space.

My friend is visiting me and I couldn’t think of anything cool for us to do outside of the normal cliche things you take visitors to do. So I thought, “Hey! I’ve always driven passed that one place with the sign that read, “rich dead people things for sale.” Why don’t we try it out!” We called and we’re told the fee was $2 a person, But honestly as soon as I was in front of the door, the personality of the place already felt worth more and it totally was! We walked around for at least an hour entering all the different rooms which were 29!! Every room had its own personality; items I had never seen in my life. Such a cool place to look around! I’m so happy I decided the check this place out. Definitely worth it to spend the time and money. And such good deals too. Every item had such personality I’m surprised they were giving half off!! I will be recommending them to everyone I meet. Thank you so much to David for the experience. And thank you for my new dining room piece!!

This delightful store is Mr Magorium’s Magic Emporium on steroids. We spent a couple hours & could have stayed longer Fascinating items & if you’re lucky enough to have the owner present you’ll hear some amazing stories as well. We’ll definitely go back.

Worth the admission just to chat with David, the owner and hear about his adventures. Thousands of Vintage items to peruse. Wish I knew about this place back when when I sourced a lot of film/video prop rentals. Perfect if it is a rainy day on Maui.

Dave’s welcoming hospitality made us feel welcomed and inspired. If you are in search of unique decor this is the place to visit! Something here for everyone.

Absolutely loved David and his treasures!! I highly recommend a visit, it’s a wildly fun experience, and we walked away with some amazing finds. Can’t wait to go back!

We visited Endangered Pieces and were very surprised about how extensive the collection was. Everything is unique and you cannot buy these pieces anywhere else. Even if you are not in the market for a bronze tub or a 6 foot Buddha it’s worth the two dollar entry fee to just look around! The owner was very helpful and full of stories! Definitely would recommend!

Amazing place! He has everything. The owner David is bald like Buddha and really cute and nice. You will definitely find your treasures there!

When I first came to his warehouse after visiting other stores on Maui, Endangered Pieces really stood out for having eclectic collector pieces displayed in a fun, topsy turvy way so you must be able to have patience to score a special find. I put together some nicely designed midcentury dining chairs paired with a teak table which together made a design statement. I have since returned and purchased other items, all very distinctive and functional in our new Kula house. Go meet crazy David, the owner and warehouse guide.

Amazing shop!!! I saw the sign on the main street and sounded kooky enough so I had to check it out. Followed the directions to the new location right across from Maui Brewing Company, in the office building. The owner David is really interesting, he has such a colorful past and everything is priced very fairly!

I walked away with a perfectly in-tact SWORDFISH BILL which was caught by a local fisherman, now proudly on display in my home. Next best thing to actually catching one. There's unique and odd furniture, home decor, clothes, and everything in between. A perfect activity for a rainy afternoon in Maui, and he ships to the mainland!

David’s store is well worth the $2 cover! He’s got all sorts of unique antiques that make for great finds or souvenirs.

At Endangered Pieces, David has curated a magical collection of furnishings. In the 20+ rooms of the show room / museum, you can find beautiful wall art, amazing chairs and tables, even a 12’ carved rhino bench that has to be seen to be believed! David somehow knows where everything is and did a great job at helping my wife and I find some treasures for our home.

Fabulous! Really enjoyed meeting David and perusing his very large and interesting vintage clothing collection. In fact, I purchased several to add to Cora Jane Vintage for sale this fall in Texas! David was such a great host. The entire store is phenomenal with great furniture, wood carvings, bronze pieces, artwork, simply amazing. Definitely will return next visit to Maui!

You never know what you’ll find or who you’ll see at David’s shop!! Such a fun store to explore and a must for any collector.

Don't be fooled with the weird paraphernalia scattered throughout the property! Endangered Pieces is a wonderful place to go if you're looking for gently used, affordable furniture in Maui. The owner was a joy to work with, and he was even kind enough to deliver to us on the same day! Definitely a place worth checking out, even if you don't intend to buy.
