Barefoot Buggy

Our family has been returning to beautiful Maui for several years each winter to escape the Alaskan cold. We were looking for a new way to explore the island and found barefoot buggy.

We had a great experience! The car was dropped off to us in the morning and we were ready to go. Our two tween boys were all smiles every time we glanced in the back seats. They are already requesting we do it again next year!

Our family will be calling barefoot buggy next year!! Aloha for the wonderful memories!!!

Our family has driven the road to Hana several times in a typical rental car. We recently drove some buggies to Hana. What a blast! We felt like we were part of the landscape in the open buggies. I noticed alot more of the beautiful surroundings. The day we went it even rained for part of the drive, I think it made it even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend the folks at Barefoot!

We had such an amazing time with these buggies! It was such a different and exciting experience this time around on our trip. Not only were the vehicles great and fun to use, but Steve was so wonderful to work with! He was so accommodating, fun, and gave awesome suggestions to get the most from our vacation!

These buggies are super fun to drive and to ride in. Not only are they fun but they let you fully experience Hawaii with all its beautiful sights and smells. I would highly recommend taking a day to drive these when you’re in Maui!

Barefoot Buggy took our road to Hana to a whole new level. Top off, cool breeze, incredible view of trees overhead., we didn’t miss a thing!!! Lots of shakas from the locals. We will definitely rent again from Steve and the gang. BTW, very accommodating to our schedule; easy pick up and drop off! Mahalo🤙🏼

I do not often write reviews. This was totally worth writing about. I am in the service industry my self, so when I say this was some of the best customer service I have ever recieved I mean it. Steve made it so simple! He was polite and personable. If we were on the island longer i would rent from him again. Riding around town in his buggy was the coolest way to see the road to Hana. I would recommend anyone to try these out! You won’t regret it!

Used Bare Foot Buggy on a girls trip to Maui in September and it was one of the funnest experiences I have had on Maui! We even got caught in a rainstorm and I don't think we could have laughed any harder. We loved Bare Foot Buggy!

The Buggy was so much fun! It was great to drive around the island without the obstructive views a car has. Our families 4 (2 teenage boys) fit comfortably. Highly recommend! It was a blast!

Driving around is super fun and easy in these buggies! I wouldn’t have wanted to take on the road to Hana in anything else! Being trapped in a car is never fun on a hot day, but these made driving around so much fun.

Barefoot buggy was a blast to rent a classic VW buggy for our adventure around the island! It’s a memory that we will have forever and can’t wait to do it again!

These buggy’s are the coolest vehicles on Maui old school fun in the sun well worth it .

Lots of local knowledge and so fun!!!
