Food was on point but the friendly service was exceptional - feels like a family 'n friends run restaurant. Portion sizes reflect the prices, definitely felt stuffed and satisfied once done. This was one of our first Hawaiian food experiences and was not disappointed. Beef and pork ordered were cooked and seasoned very well.

Definitely a place to go for local food. The Hawaiian plate was well worth the price. Most people split one and just ordered other items, it’s that much food.

The Kalbi was soft and tasty. The poi was not sour but had good flavors like it was actually pounded there.

If you want some amazing plate lunches, this is the place to hit up. It’s a throw’s distance from the main airport. Locals eat here so you know it’s good.

My wife and I tried the BBQ chicken plate and the fried chicken plate. The macaroni salad was the best we ever had (even better than Halo Hawaiin and L&L). The BBQ chicken was chargrilled and intensely satisfying to our tastebuds.

The fried chicken was lightly bartered but crispy. We will definitely be back before we leave Maui.

One of our favorite Hawaiian places during our Maui trip! It's got sort of a dinner feel to it. We ordered the kalbi beef, which came with two large pieces of meat, Mac salad, cabbage, rice, and a bread roll. We really enjoyed the meat and it was pretty decently priced as well! We also got the poke, both the spicy and traditional, which came topped with wonton chips and served over rice. The poke was fresh and tasty as well. Definitely recommend this place to people looking for some Hawaiian food!

This is the best Hawaiian food I've ever tasted - how is that for a review? The Poke, The Lau Lau, the pork were all just excellent. We came here after seeing the sunrise at Haleakala (and froze our buns off). We got there shortly after 9 and didn't expect it to be open, but they were! There were already a few tables occupied. I can only imagine how crowded it would be at lunch or dinner time.

Poke was melt in your mouth fresh and stacked high with great flavor. The Hawaiian mixed plate with Lau Lau, Pork, Poi, Macaroni Salad, soup and Poke was plentiful and almost too much for one person and each dish was fresh and delicious. Even the ramen was pretty good.

The service was super friendly and efficient. The food came quickly and the waitress very attentive and friendly.

This by far was the best meal we have had yet over all. Every bite was flavorful and amazing. Everything is also made from scratch. Sauce game is strong!

Great family place with live music on Friday night. No alcohol, but not needed. This is very much a local spot, so get there early as it does fill up fast. They also have food for pick up.

A MAUI MUST GO!

Good food with excellent service. The ladies there are super friendly. The parking lot was a bit hard to find as my gps took me through the car dealership next door. Wifi is available and parking wasn’t difficult but it’s not a large lot.

The boneless kalbi was absolutely amazing! Da kitchen wasn’t open and I’m glad they weren’t! Worth it! Perfectly cooked and oh so ono.

Stopped here on our way to the airport to kill some time before our early flight and grab something more local to eat without breaking bank...so so so glad we did! This one one of the best meals we had in Maui and the only place we could get poi (we eventually had some more in Oahu but this place was by far the best). The poke was tasty but the real winner for me was the kalua pork, eggs with gravy, rice and mac salad. Some great moco and the breakfast of champions right there.

Really good food! Worth the 30 minute wait for a table! We had the teriyaki chicken and the Hawaiian plate. Happy to get in one more authentic hawaiian meal before our departing flight. ❤

Definitely my favorite restaurant for when I need my Hawaiian food fix. I usually get the squid luau, but sometimes I get the Hawaiian plate when I want it all! My friend was a HUGE fan of the macadamia nut ice cream pie.

Ate here right before our flight home since the restaurant was conveniently close to the airport. Tried poi for the first time and I'm hooked. Spicy tuna poke was delicious. The pork was not greasy at all and not dry. It was perfectly combined with a gravy, egg, and Mac. If I ever come to Maui again, I will definitely stop here first.

Kalua pork was juicy and well seasoned.
Mac salad was peppery
Loco moco patties were juicy and not overdone.

Overall, a solid spot!

Friendly service with great food. Can't ask for much more. Pictured are the loco Moco, poke bowl, shredded pork, and pork and poi.

Nice homey restaurant serving Hawaiian favorites. I recommend the kalua pork with soup on the side and the loco moco. The gravy is fantastic! I would skip the poke for another restaurant

For dinner had the Hawaiian Plate and a laugh Lau plate - enough for 3 of us who hadn't eaten since breakfast. Good fast service. Kalua pig was a little dry but poke, laulau, lomi salmon, and chicken long rice were ono + fresh poi included in each plate! Takeout order was placed and ready in the time it took to get hot fresh donuts next door at Krispy Kreme!

Genuine spirit of aloha and ho’okipa from the time we stepped into the restaurant through the time we left. I felt a sense of being part of the island as we dined here. Food is good, well portioned, and prepared fast. Loco moco has three patties and was big enough for three kids. The broth In the kimchi shrimp saimin was satisfying also. The restaurant is a bit hard to see from Hana Hwy, but it is next to the Acura dealership.

This place is amazing for Hawaiian food. Had the chicken long rice plate and it was good. Also had a side of poke and a kalbe. The night I went, there was live music so it's pretty relaxing. It was a very Hawaiian experience!

Super friendly staff, clean, amazing food. Order the Hawaiian Plate (pictured) or the Poke Bowl with rice. Don’t forget to try the chili water! One of the best meals I had visiting Maui.
