Beautiful beach. It was very wavy the day we were there. Definitely not safe for anyone that isn't very experienced.

This beach was tops for us while visiting all of the Hawaiian islands. It has a private beach feel to it and is just a quick 6 minute walk from downtown Paia. The views are remarkable, and we even saw a couple of sea turtles swimming close by! There was not a lot of people at this beach, but the atmosphere was very welcoming. Recommend taking the family using Uber as it is only a $20 one way ride from the Maui mall. Take lots of pics as everything will be postcard quality!!

We did a quick drive by on our way back from cliff jumping. Super beautiful and loved how may sea turtles were hanging out on the beach. Truly would have loved to sit on the beach.

My Daughter found this beautiful beach, while we were on a helicopter tour. The water and beach are beautiful. We even seen some sea turtles sun bathing. They have plenty of shops and restaurants just two short blocks away. You can definitely spend the day.

Really nice Beach. Waves were decent from what my crew said. The parking situation can be difficult in the afternoon. Restroom available, but dirty. A few homeless people inhabit the area.

Gorgeous beach! The waves are hard though so I didn’t feel comfortable swimming although plenty of people did. This place is great for surfing!! Sometimes you can see a turtle or two here so don’t assume all black circles at the beach are rocks. The park is walking distance to Paia town where you can lunch & shop.

Great beach that's quite laid back. You can walk from the town center area or there's plenty of parking available. Restrooms are also available. There's also a youth center and a park area. Possibly one of my favorite beaches on Maui

We absolutely love this Beach! Seeing the huge Sea Turtles coming ashore to sun was amazing! The waves are strong and excellent for the boggie boards. The shore line is Beautiful and soft sand.we highly recommend this for a visit when you hit Maui.

Fun surf but can be windy and choppy. Most the time not good for beginners

Always a great time at the Beach. The surf can be really big sometimes. Sometimes you can see turtles passing by, not a lot of tourists which is nice for a more local vibe. Highly recommend Paia Bay Cafe (ten minute walk) for breakfast and a Bloody Mary.

I didn’t let the kids swim but they enjoyed the big swell.

Such a beautiful area! Public bathrooms are as expected and there are outdoor showers to clean off! Very popular area for any type of surfing! Or just viewing those courageous people!!

Little do most people know, all beaches are public in Hawaii, and thank god they are for this little spot, nicknamed "turtle beach" it lives up to its name, where at least one or two turtles can always be seen lying on the beach, especially in the afternoon. A great place to take the kids or go hang out with a couple of friends, with public parking within walking distance for those who can't be dropped off.

Nice little tourist town.

Here are some pics of the ocean after you pass through Pa'ia.

Great beach in an easy location. Cooler waters than on the west side of Maui, free parking, bathrooms, and just steps away from Paia town. There are several smaller beaches in close range in this area. We were able to visit 3-4 a day. Pretty windy, but otherwise a nice chill beach.
