Dr Girard and his staff are nothing short of amazing. My mother had poor dental work done on the mainland. She has been on a road to correct the work with Dr Girard, he is kind, patient and has pretty much held my mother's hand through this very difficult time. He corrected what he could of the dental work as it was so bad she had to see a specialist to correct the rest. By far the best on island no one else to compares. No one wants to have oral work done, but when you do it helps to have a kind staff to make you feel at ease. Exceptional service and work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This is the first dentist that I've been happy with in a long long time, maybe ever. The front desk team works smoothly and is very knowledgeable. My dental hygienist is so kind and does an amazing job. I see Dr Kelly Kawahara and I am very impressed. Bonus: The office is very clean and modern.

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to. Staff is really friendly and the office is very clean and up to date. Hygienist did a superb job cleaning and Dr. Kawahara is very knowledgeable. Plus, there's not a 2 month wait period like most other offices on the island.

Very modern, brand new everything throughout. My dental hygienist was awesome. Dr. Girard did a crown for me and it came out great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist on Maui!!

After trying another dentist and having a negative experience that felt like a trip to the DMV... I was very happy to find this office and staff! I highly recommend them and love thier honesty and great work. Beautiful office too and up to date computer technology that allows you to look at a tooth and point to the spot that is bothersome if needed. So helpful!

Thanks to a terrible experience at another dental office our family tried Smile Suite.
Let’s start with the cleaning, is it possible to call it a spa experience? Shanell was my hygenist and never in my life have I felt like falling asleep whilst getting my teeth cleaned. She had an amazing soft touch and I didn’t walk away feeling like a construction crew had jack hammered my grill (that would be a reference to the terrible experience my kids had at a place in Kahului near the old Lowe’s).
Dr. Girard is amazing. He simply told me what he felt needed to be worked on and it never felt like a sales pitch.
I would highly recommend Smile Suite, Shanell, and Dr. Girard.

Jane and I have been patients of Dr. Kelly Kawahara for a number of years and have been waiting for her to open her own practice, which she now has and we are totally delighted. If there is such a thing as having a pleasant experience when visiting a dentist, Dr. Kawahara is a great example. I highly recommend she and the staff now practicing at Smile Suite in Wailuku, at the Safeway shopping complex across from Kaiser Permanente Maui Lani Clinic on Maui Parkway.

I was able to get in with Dr. Kawahara to fix a filling that had come out. Considering the pandemic, I felt super safe with all of their safety measures in place. Thank you Smile Suite for being accessible in getting me in and being on point with the Covid safety measures!
