I became a patient of Dr Baxter when I had a dental emergency on the weekend and my previous dentist wouldn't call me back. Dr Baxter and his team of rock star dentists and hygienists have been taking care of me and my family since then.

My favorite people are the office staff. They have provided me copies of every receipt I lost and needed for my flexible spending account.

And their prices are super fair. They don't up sell you on unneeded treatments. just to use up your insurance benefits.

Wonderful, kind, professional, and caring team who all exude aloha. Every part of the appointment was seamless and enjoyable. All the doctors in this office are exceptional and knowledgeable. Christine was very gentle and explained every portion of the cleaning. Mikal, Tasha, Novara and Ryssa at the front will make you feel like family.

Aloha, I am an ICU RN and I have a Certificate of Achievement in Dental Assisting. My dad started having a tooth ache and went to his regular dentist. His tooth needed to be extracted and he had a large abscess underneath it. They gave him an appointment to extract it for 2-1/2 weeks later... Meanwhile he was miserable, he had swelling, and lethargy but couldn't sleep because of the throbbing pain. I was starting to get worried, because people can have life threatening problems due to an abscessed tooth. I tried desperately to get them to move up his appointment or refer him elsewhere to no avail. I called Dr. Baxter's office, and they got him in "that day" and were so nice about it. My dad said, "he is the nicest dentist I have ever met", and "he made me feel so good about the whole thing despite how bad I was feeling". They are truly a wonderful dental office to go to. All the staff is so nice, and Dr. Baxter is a fantastic dentist who does excellent quality work. We are very lucky to have him here on Maui and I would never go anywhere else to have dental work done. As a side note he has also done work for me and my father that other dentists said couldn't be done, and he performed it very well. I can't recommend Dr. Baxter's office enough, just great people!!!

WAS SO GRATEFUL TO GET THE HELP I NEEDED WHEN VISITING MAUI. THE STAFF WAS SO HELPFUL WHEN I LOST MY TOOTH WHILE ON VACATION. THEY WERE ABLE TO WORK ME IN THE NEXT DAY AND STILL WORK WITH MY OUT OF TOWN INSURANCE.

Dr. Baxter and his team are amazing. I am one of those people who has a huge fear of dentists. Such a big fear that I have avoided going for 10+ years. I went to Dr. Baxter because I had a filling fall out. He and his staff were super awesome, gentle, and made me feel like I was in great hands. They didn’t pressure me to do anything. Made sure I was comfortable, and discussed pricing before doing any work. I will definitely be visiting them regularly, and recommend them to my friends.

I’ve been going to these dentists for years. My whole family does. Kahului Dental is a friendly and down to earth atmosphere and they always get you in as soon as possible. You have a nice view of Haleakala from your chair regardless of room. Also, their office music is the best. No need for headphones and airpods.

I had a dental emergency a few days after the Lahaina fires. I thought I’d have to wait a few weeks due to so many disruptions and challenges for everyone. They got me in the next day! So grateful.

I had an extensive cleaning by Angel at Dr. Baxter's office and was dreading it. She was so sweet and took her time and a great listener when I expressed concerns. I ended up having a great experience and know my mouth is in good hands. Dr. Baxter is also the nicest professional I've ever met. Highly recommend!

Met Dr. Baxter today for the first time and he made such a Great First Impression. He was so Caring and Friendly. He made me feel so at ease with the upcoming procedures I have scheduled. Kahului Dental is the most affordable dentist i have been to here on Maui and I have seen many Dentists. The staff is kind and were always smiling. I walked in today hoping to get a chip in my front tooth fixed. Dr. Baxter was recommended to me from Samantha over at Hawaii Smile Designs in Kahului. The staff was super nice and they fit me in even though I did not have an appointment. The fill is virtually undetectable! Thank you Dr. Baxter and the team for everything. You guys rock!

How exciting is it to go to the dentist? Honestly, I used to get nervous before going in but that all changed after visiting Dr. Baxter and his crew. They were all so great.

We were checked in quickly and the wait time was very minimal. Both my daughter and I were seen at the same time which was really nice on a busy day. My hygienists was so great--very friendly, but then when it came down to cleaning, she was quiet and let me close my eyes and relax. Another really great thing: the view. It faces the parking lot, but when you're laying on the chair, you're pointed up at the warm blue Maui sky. That was nice and calming. I could hear my daughter's hygienist next door and she was so kind and gentle with her.

Dr. Baxter came through to do post-cleaning check and it was like having coffee with an old friend. He's so friendly and genuine. He wants to make sure you're truly satisfied with your dental experience.

My husband needed advice on a dental situation so he called Dr. B after hours and it was awesome to have a doc listen and have good advice! He was able to squeeze him in the next day as well. We were so thankful!

I really can't say enough good things about this place. We are very happy about the switch to Dr. Baxter's dental office. They are the BEST!

I absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Baxter and Kahului Dental. Ashley was the best hygienist and everybody was very friendly. The office is very clean and presentable. They have all the equipment in there which makes it comfortable and very affordable. Form the beginning of my process Dr. Baxter called me in to get my x-rays and explained everything very thoroughly. Dr. Baxter helped me feel comfortable and not be scared about the procedure I was going to receive. The procedure was painless and Dr. Baxter gave me his cell phone number for any emergencies or questions I had. Before I called him he had a follow up call to check up on me which made me feel like he truly cared. He was always available when I called with questions and went out of his way to help me feel comfortable after the procedure.

I absolutely recommend Kahului Dental. They have amazing customer service and Dr. Baxter and his staff really know what they are doing, have amazing skills and are a family oriented business.
