Maui Seaside Hotel

Wow! This was the BEST greeting I have ever had. Billy and staff made us feel so welcomed. We were given a cold cloth with eucalyptus/lavender oil. We received a Lei made of fresh flowers. We took pictures with the staff. I was chosen as a guest of the day. 😅 in my room was a letter and treats reusable water bottles. My room was clean, and my bed had animals on the bed made of towels. The beds were comfortable. We will visit here again we enjoyed the stay.

We booked this hotel last minute and only stayed one night before checking into our condo. We were very pleased with the hotel. The check in staff were so great. We had a long flight and were tired, we got to the room and crashed on the very comfortable beds. Upon arriving we noticed many guests enjoying the fire pits by the pool! We recommend this quaint maintained hotel!

I was a part of the group that stayed due to the United flight delay with the tech glitch. Let me tell you what the view wonderful, pool and firepits wonderful. The rooms are being updated and I'm sure when that's done this would be my last stop on the island on the way to the airport. It's very close and has an airport shuttle. The programming for each day is on point. I got to try some long canoe with the group at the Ho'aloha Park next door. I can't stress how nice and wonderful this hotel was. Additionally they have a hospitality room after you check out to shower and go to the bathroom. 5 stars!

This has been my best hotel choice so far and I really loved being here. It was a last minute booking for one night stay. The room is extremely spacious and clean. The idea of complementary bottles stood out for me. They give free take home sipper bottles to refill with water from the machines , a wonderful idea to reduce plastic waste on the island. They also have a courtesy room with a living room and a full restroom for guests who have checked out for the day but still need a place to freshen up before heading out. The free shuttle service to the airport is a definite add on. This hotel surpassed customer service expectations for me.

Just checked in to my room and they chose me to be their “guest of the day.” They greeted me with a lei and had other cute amenities waiting for me in my room. Josaia was amazing at the front desk. Very professional and friendly. Billy was also super nice. Any time I walk by, I’m always greeted by someone on their staff.

The Maui Seaside was great. I would stay again. Staff was awesome very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The view was really good of the west Maui mountains. Tantes restaurant was really good also. Had breakfast and dinner

We stayed here for a business trip and everyone in our group (5 couples) LOVED this hotel! It has a boutique-y feel with an attention to detail and operated by friendly and kind staff. Lots of little touches that really make this place feel special; logo water bottles to take home and a wall with post it notes so visitors can leave what they did on island for others to read. Our room was a bit old school, but had a lovely charm to it and it should be noted that it was VERY clean. Comfy bed and great pillows! The proximity to the airport cannot be beat and it is very quiet. We had a balcony room a few rooms away from the ocean and fell asleep to the sound of the waves.. Total bliss!! We also grabbed a quick to-go order for dinner at the restaurant on the property, Tante’s. Our server was very friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and out very quickly for a to go order. Very impressed with this property and we will be back! Thank you Maui Seaside!

People from the mainland might find the rooms "Basic" but they are nice. Maui Seaside stepped up to help the Lahaina fire victims and did an outstanding job to say the least. The housekeepers are an absolute pleasure they greet you with aloha and smile, they sing while they work, they wear flowers in their hair and are very hard working. The grounds are kept impeccable at all times and are beautiful with perfectly manicured grass and never anything out of place. Their front desk team you can't beat all of them do an excellent job. We can't find our key there's Cari to the rescue. Sheri always with a big smile checking on us to make sure we were all ok and uncle Iolani brings a loving and caring essence along with the pride he takes for the culture with his dress attire and accessories is our number 1 guy and we thank you all for your hard work and dedication. Mahalo from the Astronomy ohana. The security team here are all a pleasure to have watching over as well thank you to Rabbi and Aiau and the boys as well

Awesome place to stay. Front desk staff were all friendly and the room was clean. Water views are exceptional and the area is great. Check out the Sunday market for food if staying on a Sunday. Go check out simply local clothing store down the road for great shopping too.

This was the perfect spot for our one night stay in Kahului. Very clean and very friendly staff. The pool is beautiful and the grassy area has some lawn games and even a yoga class on Sunday! Highly recommend.

It really seems like it’s going to be a dump when you roll up to this place but it’s actually quite nice. We wish we’d have stayed here for out whole trip to Maui instead of a BNB.

Came for a work trip. Got selected as Guest of the Day so I got an upgraded room. Staff were wonderful and they have a cute chatty cat, Cinnamon, on site who visited with me.

It's right on the harbor bay, so there's a short beach that you can enjoy ! It's close to the airport, big plus they shuttle you from airport to hotel and back!

Lovely hotel! We were able to get a day room from 9am-6pm on our last day in Maui. It was the perfect place to spend our last hours before heading to the airport. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area is so nice! And the hotel itself it right on the water so offers nice views. The rooms were clean and and suites our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here on your first or last night given how close it is to the airport.

Recommended by Maui residents. Convenient location to OGG airport. Well maintained. Recent upgrades / remodel. Professional staff. Employees take obvious pride in their work. Loved our stay here.

Woww! Everything was perfect. Front desk was very friendly and they have the best beachfront views!

Convenient location near OGG. Old bones, but with a fresh coat of paint & retro/modern touches. Basic & comfortable accommodations, pretty spacious rooms. Very nice staff and right next to Tanto's Restaurant. Right across the street is a mall so in case you need to pick something up on the fly, you're good! Parking can be a downer.

I don't know why people complain about the price it's Maui all the places that you stay there are expensive!! I thought the price and the room we got was decent it's right next to the beach. You can walk to it behind the pool. It's a decent location but not in the most touristy spot. But it's close to a grocery store and the restaurant that's attached to it had really great food! All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The pool was very clean they had a lot of play area for kids and family. But also seemed like a good place to go for just couples as well. It was windy while we were there so we didn't go to the beach too much but we did get to walk it during one of our days there and it was really beautiful view.

We booked at Maui seaside hotel because of the great price compared to other hotels. We decided to pay less for a hotel and rent a car to be able to explore Maui and that’s just what we did. Each day, we drove to the location we wanted to go and outside of driving the road to Hana, nothing was over an hour drive. The location was great because it wasn’t overcrowded with tourists. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The property was well maintained. The pool area was awesome and the ocean views were great!! Hotel staff was super friendly and very accommodating!!

We used the day pass which allowed us to stay from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. after checking out of our Airbnb and waiting for our evening flight. So glad they provide that option. It was cheaper than buying tickets for an earlier flight and allowed us to have a full extra day in Maui! We really needed it for a variety of reasons. All of the staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating while maintaining the peaceful, relaxing mood. The exterior, the lobby, and the common areas have a great retro Hawaiian vibe. We loved the décor and the relaxing background Hawaiian music. The common area is absolutely perfect with the swinging "egg" chairs and the comfortable table areas. The pool area was so pretty and peaceful with the soft grass and simple design. Loved the little touches like the longue chairs in the pool and the croquet and corn hole games set up on the lawn. I have read critical reviews complaining that the rooms are small and outdated. My response to that this is not a resort that costs $800 a night. Of course the rooms are simple, but they are also very clean and neat, and the art on the walls maintained the peaceful "Old Hawaii" feel. And, there IS a microwave available for guests to use. You just have to ask! I have stayed at hotels on the mainland that cost $100 more than this place (and everything costs less on the mainland) and they aren't nearly as nice as this hotel. If you want to spend a fortune at a loud, crowded resort, go for it. If you want a clean, affordable, peaceful place to stay that makes you feel like you're in Hawaii and not at an overpriced amusement park, Maui Seaside Hotel is a great choice.
