Not happy with this preparer. Quoted 1000 for personal taxes. They ended charging 2500 when it came time to pay. I don’t have complex tax to prepare so that was just wrong. Then my amount to feds was 7100, the office staff told me that, the paperwork said that with Harold’s name on it. Then a letter comes from IRS stating I owe 9250. Checked multiple times with IRS and it’s correct they have no idea why my return says 7100 from Harold. Called and emailed for a breakdown of what happened with no response except “ yes you owe them 9250”

Obviously I’m not going to them again and I would advise anyone to think twice. Office staff told me 2500$ was their standard personal return rate after Harold verbally quoted us 1000$ when we were talking about hiring him. Bait and switch
