My Thai Maui

This is a unique place. But I will start by saying this had the best food I had in Maui by far. Food is just spot on great.

The dining area is in a open garage area. You order online, there isn't a server or anything and then the food gets brought up to a window and your name gets called. So not exactly a sit down restaurant with waiters but it does have space to sit (or takeout).

The food though. I had drunken noodles. So good. My wife had pad Thai and iced coffee and also loved it. Also appreciated was the ability to double noodles and get a fried egg for extra.

It’s not often we get an opportunity to give anything a 5 star rating across the board but this place deserves it. Classic flavours, perfect execution and despite everything being ´plated ´ in take-away containers the presentation was excellent. We enjoyed how fresh everything was and the little details like the cute little Thai flags put things over the top. Don’t be put off by their fully digital ordering system. It’s super smooth and we had zero issues with it. The owner Mathew is super hospitable and we enjoyed his conversation. The dining room has great decor and the music was also on point. To summarize: If you are craving Thai food in Maui…. Go here. Don’t hesitate.

Just wow! I will be dreaming of this food until my next Maui vacation. If you have not tried this place you are missing out! Excellent service, outstanding Thai food, and super convenient by the airport. My husband and I needed to grab a bite to eat and this place did not disappoint. It’s a special spot. We recommend the shrimp rolls 10/10, the pad Thai is also fantastic, and the bao buns.. YUM. I really wish we could bag this up and take it back to Arizona. It’s all in to- go environmentally friendly boxes and utensils, and you order on your phone using QR code - which we loved. The owner Matthew was super welcoming and food came out quick. We also noticed they cut a hole in the top of some of the boxes so that the fried food stayed crisp. The level of detail here makes you want to keep coming back. We’re obsessed with this place and know you will be too. Go try it!!

Amazing food.... Ordered and out quickly!!! We had a drive on the other side of island and the packaging was perfect even for the soup! We are the rolls on the ride and they were fully of yummy fresh veggies.

An employee came to our car as we were pulling rolls out to make sure we're good.... He asked how we found them... yelp! He said it was a owned by a local mom/pop- let us know what we thought and desert was on them if we came back... gave us a code.... We will be back !!! TRY IT!!! Yummy

This Thai restaurant is truly exceptional! It offers a wide range of delicious options for vegetarians that you absolutely must try.

What sets this family-owned establishment apart is its unique approach to service. Upon making a reservation, you'll be greeted by a friendly staff member who will guide you to your table. Once seated, you'll find a convenient QR code on the table which allows you to easily browse the menu, place your order, and make a payment.

The food itself is incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The owners' parents personally cook the dishes, and their expertise shines through in every bite.

We only regret not discovering this gem earlier in our trip. The food was so good that we would have loved to dine here more than once.

While I appreciate that Maui is making efforts to go plastic-free, it's worth mentioning that this restaurant still relies on plastic water bottles, food containers for takeout, and plastic drink cups. It seems contradictory to their dedication to excellent food. Furthermore, the limited table space can become crowded with all the takeout containers.

Overall, if you're in search of outstanding Thai cuisine with plenty of vegetarian options, this restaurant is a definite must-visit. Just be aware of the plastic usage and plan accordingly.

We visited this restaurant on our final day in Maui, and what a treat it was! Every dish on the menu is customizable, by choice of protein, spice level, ingredient selection and if required dietary restriction. The owners are family, and they treat the restaurant as a member of their family, which I respect deeply.

We got the Pad Thai with Salmon, with added hot sauce (there area variety, go try them all), and added egg. With that, we got the garlic fried tofu to seal the deal. What a joy it was, it was easily one of the best Pad Thai and tofu combinations I've ever had. I highly recommend dining here. You will have no regrets.

One of the warmest and kindest people own this place. They are very polite and respectful people.
We were there twice on our trip both our visits they never disappointed.
You can order from their wide selection of menu and pay it all online they have a good seating area where you can be seated to eat.
The food was delicious and authentic very good ingredients.
Overall I would love to go back anytime for authentic Thai food and lovely hospitality.

Hands down the best meal we had on Maui! The owner was also a delight and I enjoyed his anecdotes of traveling in Thailand. He treated us to a second mango sticky rice dessert on the house, amazingly mouth watering flavor.

Love this cute little place! Friendly host and quick service. Great place to grab some great tasting Thai Food in Kahului. Very interesting way of ordering and receiving your order. It was a refreshing way to just sit, enjoy the nice breeze and eat Thai cuisine. I will definitely let people know about My Thai Maui and come back for more!

This place is truly deserving of 5 stars. The set up is interesting. For dine-in, you seat yourself and order online (QR code at the table). Once your food is ready, they’ll call your name and you pick it up at the counter. The food is all packaged to-go which is nice so you can easily take the leftovers home. Now for the food… absolutely incredible. I’ve been to Thailand and this is about as good as it gets. I highly recommend the Khao Soi if you’ve never had it before.

The part I love most about this place is that it’s a family-run business with owners who are passionate what they do. I was talking to the host for a bit and he told me that his parents-in-law are the cooks and from Northern Thailand. It’s all their own recipes and they really built this from the ground up. Definitely put this on your food list for Maui if you haven’t already.

My Thai is a little gem of a place! Don’t let the hangar-style building scare you off. This is the best Thai food on Maui, and some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The curries are divine, the bao so fluffy! Great classics you’re familiar with and unique Northern Thai flavors you’ll come to love. Try the garlic noodle orange tofu - you won’t be sorry! Great vegan and vegetarian options.

When I say this is the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life I am NOT lying. The summer rolls are so bomb we are actually going back again for the second day in a row lol. The seared scallops are phenomenal with the side sauce and of course the entrees…. Chicken pad Thai for me and my fiancé got the chicken&shrimp fried rice. We are coming back again in June 2022 and will highly recommend this place to our wedding guests

This is our second visit to My Thai. After the first wonderful experience last year, we made it a point to come back next time we come to maui. The food is just so fantastic. Not only do they have great flavor but they also come with very generous portions. We ordered two dishes with seafood and crispy calamari. All so yummy with a lot of seafood compared to what you’d get elsewhere. The two of us can’t even finish all. The Thai tea with coconut milk is so delicious that I ordered a second one to go. It is not as surgery as what you would get in other Thai restaurants. Definitely recommend to try it! The owner told us all the food is cooked by his parents in law from northern Thailand. All the decors are also brought from Thailand. Truly a hidden gem! Don’t miss out on this authentic spot!

We absolutely adore My Thai Maui! It's so difficult to find good Thai food back at home (Bay Area). We love getting dinner here when we visit Maui. We got the Pad Thai and wow! The best Pad Thai I've ever had and I spent weeks in Thailand before. We also had the green curry which was also outstanding. The flavors are bold, tantalizing, and authentic and the veggies are so fresh. I highly recommend a visit! The owners are super friendly as well with great service. They are an extensive menu so don't be scared to try something new! You can't go wrong!

Food is delicious! We ordered coconut shrimps and Pad see Ew with rice noodles and veggies. Taste is good, price is good. Owners are soooo nice. They gave us complimentary water and puddings.

Spent the whole day exploring the island and this place was the biggest treat. The place is owned by a wonderful family. FOOD IS FANTASTIC. One of the best Thai places I have ever been too. All positions in the menu are fantastic. Very easy order through their web-site, pay quickly online, the food is ready in take away boxes within 10 mins and then you have an options either sit down and eat here or leave with you dishes. We had lobster buns (absolutely insane, never seen that much fresh crab in one dish, sauce was from heaven), pad see was incredible too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!!!!!

Unique location and style. Served take out style. I was visiting during their renovations. But the food is awesome. Always love Southeast Asian cuisine, their "Northern Style" Beef Laarb was on point. They use fish sauce and chili peppers, authentic little details for Thai food. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Maui!

This is one of those meals that felt like a spiritual experience. A long day of travel preceded our stop at My Thai Maui, and we popped in shortly before they closed. The owner seemed genuinely grateful that we chose to eat there, and let us dine at our own tempo despite the fact that they were about to close. They told us the story of how they opened the restaurant, and how they're so happy to see customers returning.

We ordered pad thai, orange chicken, and pineapple fried rice. All were incredible. When you come to Maui, this is the kind of place you want to stop. Forget all the familiar chain restaurants near the airport, My Thai Maui needs to be at the top of your list!

During the time spent in Maui we enjoyed this gem twice. The first time it was a surprise from the montony of hotel and resort food. The second was because we could not stop thinking about the Baos and Noodles!

The smartphone enabled ordering system is fun. The food is delicious and very quickly prepared. Customer service is 10/10. Our order had a tiny mistake and they made it again immediately.

The decor is adorable with a great vibe reminiscent of Bangkok. I don’t want to sound hyperbolic by saying it’s the best Thai food on the island but I’m pretty sure it is!
