Home Maid Cafe

This is the fourth breakfast place we've tried on Maui and by far the best. Auntie and uncle ( Hawaiian terms) do everything, so please be patient. Malasadas ( Hawaiian donuts) are made to order. They offer two kinds, powered & cream. We got the cream and they were little soft delicious pillows of heaven. I got the, 2 eggs with corned beef and hash browns. Again hot off the grill, the over easy eggs were perfect, hash browns were grilled and golden brown. My wife had breakfast sandwich with bacon. The bacon was crisp just how we like it and was delicious. It's in a strip mall and not much to look at but the food is the show and makes up for any atmosphere.

I had never eaten Spam before and I'm so glad I had it here for my first time.

My breakfast was simple. However, simple doesn't mean basic or boring.

The Spam was seasoned perfectly. My toast was buttered and I could tell they put the butter on before they toasted which is the best way to do it.

My food was served on a paper plate and I used plastic utensils. I don't like either on those things but I didn't even care. When the food is good, you don't focus on those things.

I will definitely eat here again before I go home. This is a local spot with nothing flashy at all about it. This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall spot and one you should absolutely visit.

I also had a Portuguese donut (I can't remember the name) but it was hot, doughy, and covered in powered sugar. Scrumptious!

Malasadas!!!! Please don't go anywhere Home Maid Cafe, I love ya! Mahalo

This place is a tiny little Cafe in a strip mall, but the food is sooo good. We got omelettes with hash browns, they were huge, perfectly cooked, and diner style. Perfection. And the malasadas are made when you order them so they are hot and fresh and delicious.

My name is Taylor and I am a visitor from America. This is my first time eating at the Home Maid Cafe, and I am astonished by the hustle of the workers. They continue to impress me the whole time I have been eating my super tasty pancakes with how quick and efficient they are. It takes a lot of work to run a restaurant properly, and I know this because my father owns his own homestyle pizza restaurant back at home. If you want to eat here, do it! My only suggestions are please be patient with the very few workers they have here. It is very stressful to run a food joint, and giving them as much time as they need is going to mean the world.

Amazing malasada! They made them fresh so we had to wait but it was worth it! The dough is incredible 🤤we chose the cream filled and plain one…both great. I only wish they were bigger 😅

I went once on my trip and have nothing but good things to say. The owners were very nice and the food was really good. The price was right as well.

The aunty that owns and runs the place is the sweetest woman. Food is always good! One of the only places on Maui that opens at 6:30am

Food tasted great, along with the donuts. The utensils work properly, including the plastic knife. Great service. Would recommend.

Always stop here for fresh hot malasadas

A local dive recommended to us by another local. We only had the malasadas. We were there at 10am but the sweet cream ones were already sold out so we settled for the sugar. We only wish we had more time and bigger stomachs. We'll be back.

If you are on Maui you must go here. If for nothing else than the fresh malasadas (Hawaiian doughnuts). Order them and wait 15 minutes as they are made fresh. To die for.

Malasadas were fantastic! We ordered and loved them so much we ordered seconds! Delicious, hot and fresh.

This bakery is excellent for malasadas. They made them at the time of order. Great takeout for the family $15 for a dozen (12 malasadas)

Very much a hole in the wall with decent food and kind owners. It's worth a visit for the amazing malasadas.

Don’t be fooled by a poor ambience and look, the breakfast and donuts are excellent. Very delicious.

Breakfast sandwiches were amazing, with homemade bread, so good. We had malasadas with just sugar and they were great, I bet just as good or better with the filling

Locals cafe? Ordered three egg omelette with veggie and Portuguese sausage. Very nice. I'm easy to please much of the time. If you're looking for fancy and or Hawaiian kind of restaurant, nalu is next door. Just want tasty food to start morning, no frills? This is a good place. Staff is precious. I will return.
