My husband and I loved this experience. Erin was wonderful and took great care of us. We got to take a walk with a few alpacas, feed them, pet them, and hold angora bunnies! We even met 1 baby alpaca and 3 baby bunnies and they were the cutest. Highly recommend this experience.

From start to finish complete excellence! Sandra was our guide and she was super knowledgeable and friendly. We had the greatest time and will surely be back. The alpacas were lovely, friendly, and very inactive! Sassy and Lola definitely stole the show!!!!

For our honeymoon me and my wife found this farm while searching for things to experience while in Maui. We were happily surprised and excited once we made our reservations, however due to some scheduling conflicts we had to change our original reservation. The process was very simple and we were able to change our day and time without any issues. The farm is located in a tucked in place but the directions provided in the email confirmation helped a lot and it was easy to follow. Once there our guide, Padma, greeted us at the gate and showed us where to park. As soon as we got out of the car we could see the alpacas, they looked beautiful. Before walking in we got some helpful info of how to behave and interact which helped us be more comfortable around them. Padma is very knowledgeable about alpacas, angora bunnies and the process of turning the alpaca fur into yarn. She was also very friendly and offered to take pictures for us so we could focus our attention on the alpacas. We met all the female alpacas which looked healthy and very well taken care of. We were provided food bowls and we got to feed the alpacas, make sure to listen to the guide’s directions and you shouldn’t have any issues. They have a sink available where you can wash your hands after petting the alpacas and bunnies. The farm also had angora bunnies which was a big plus as we got to hold them as well, they were very soft and docile. Overall we had a great time and we highly recommend this experience for any animal lovers. They also had a small gift shop where they had some alpaca and angora bunnies products. We bought a miniature alpaca made with alpaca fur, very soft and an amazing souvenir that will help us remember this wonderful experience.

What a fantastic experience! These alpacas are such lovely animals. They are all so unique in personality and so fun to pet and feed. Erin was so great and showed us how to use 100year old spinning wheel to make yarn. A highlight was Rapunzell (angora bunny) the most adorable snuggle bunny in the world. The gift shop at the end was a great place to buy gifts and splurge on gorgeous alpaca hat, scarves, gloves. I highly Recommend taking the time to support this amazing little operation and meet their amazing animals.

We had an amazing farm tour with Padma! We got to love on the alpacas and pet the angora bunnies. As a knitter, I really loved getting to see how they process and spin the fiber from the animals.

This was something that wasn’t on my radar before arriving in Maui. However I saw a Facebook ad after arriving and did some research and it seemed like a great thing to do on our day of driving up to the Haleakala summit. We booked the 9:30 tour and had Padma as our tour guide. She was great teaching us about the Alpacas and Angora bunnies. We got to feed the alpacas and pet the bunnies. We also had a demonstration of how they use the fur to make yarn. So glad we did this experience. At the end you can purchase yarn from the farm or other goods. I purchased a mini stocking to hang on our Christmas tree made with both alpaca and angora yarn from the farm.

So glad we decided to go upcountry and visit Maui alpaca. Janet was super informative and friendly and the alpacas were so social and friendly. The angora bunnies were what I cared most about seeing but ended up loving the alpacas. If you plan to visit upcountry I say 100% visit the alpacas!

Our family did the alpaca lunch and had the best time. My daughters loved everything about the alpacas - learning about them, feeding them, petting them, and watching their interaction. The rabbits were a lot of fun too - super cute and soft. This was a highlight of our trip to Maui because it was so unique. Highly recommend

This was one of the most fun and informational and enjoyable activities/tours I've done on Maui.

I took my mom to Maui for her birthday and this was the best tour we did while we stayed in Maui. Our guide was so friendly, so smart, very knowledgable and kind, she made the tour amazing. We enjoyed the tour because of her. I highly encourage anyone to come see the farm and their wares! The alpaca are incredibly cute and the bunnies are SO interesting! It was really fun seeing their environment and hearing about the processing of their fleece. Same as the angora bunnies! The merchandise center was so cute and we bought a few souvenirs to take home to friends and family as well.

I'm actually planning a trip to go back to Maui this month and I'm planning my trip to the farm again now!
Please go and support local farms!

What a super fun experience to love on these beautiful alpacas! It was a very memorable experience to do with my daughter before she leaves for college. Our time at Maui Alpaca was filled with lots of laughs as we attempted to hand feed the alpacas. Our tour guide was super sweet and it was good vibes all around, not to mention the Angora bunnies were so soft and fluffy!

Wow! What an awesome experience this was. We celebrated my daughters 3rd bday party. Erin and Stacey did a phenomenal job, you can tell there's love and passion in what they do. My daughter felt special and heard. The picnic was lovely. The sandwiches were first class as well as the snacks, fruit, desserts and drinks. The tour itself was very informative we learned so much about alpacas and the Angora bunnies. We got to feed, pet and walk the alpacas. There was a gift shop which was great to take a piece of memory with us. We did not feel pushed to purchase anything. We will forever treasure this once in a life time experience. Parking was easy as well as finding the location. Definitely a on Maui!

I am a full-grown adult and went with my boyfriend and we had just the most fun time!

Padma was our guide and she was soooo knowledgeable and good at her job. She was kind and patient with the kid in the group. (Probably a lot of kids come but we happened to be mostly adults. There was a 3 day old baby alpaca and we could pet while Padma held and supervised. It was pretty hot so we weren’t able to snuggle the giant bunnies but we could still pet in short bits.

Being an environmental biologist I could not appreciate more being told no when it’s the best thing for the animal- AND that Padma explained the importance of not stressing out a hot bunny. The hour went by fast. I could have stayed another hour but it really is just enough stuff to fill an hour. We may have gone over 10 or 15 minutes because I asked a bunch of questions. I bet people will look forward to your gift shop having more items related to the farm but the stuff was super cute.

Follow the directions they send in the email. We were only unsure about one turn down the driveway but it’s easy to get there. We are very pleased we went.

Had a great time learning about Alpacas and Angora rabbits. The farm is in a beautiful location and easily accessible, close to Paia and Kihei. Very educational and you can pet the alpacas and rabbits. The owner knits a lot of items available for purchase on-site. This is a great little side trip for families and animal lovers. Highly recommend!

Visiting the Maui Alpaca Farm with my 9 and 12-year-old kids was a delightful experience. The farm provides a unique opportunity to interact closely with alpacas, feeding and petting them, which was both educational and fun for the kids. They were also thrilled to hold and pet the soft Angora bunnies. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making our visit not only enjoyable but also informative. It's a fantastic outing for families looking to engage with animals and learn about their care in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Maui with children!

Phenomenal experience meeting the alpacas it was therapeutic and so much fun! As a bonus surprise we also met four angora bunnies who are all named after Disney princesses 👑 And it was incredibly educational with our guide Joy who is a local and she showed us how fibers can be harvested and be turned into yarn with hand powered tools. I have to also point out that our guide Joy took the time to make the portable potty super clean and pleasant before we arrive and this attention to detail is super appreciated.

Thank you Janet and Joy!

I've always been a lover of Alpacas so when I saw this place I immediately booked the "Alpaca Trekking" event. Padma, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole event interesting! 10/10 she needs a promotion to bunny queen. The whole thing was so great that all my family scheduled a trip there the very next day.

If you are a fan of Alpacas, bunnies, or animals in general I would highly suggest visiting here.
