Was a beautiful place to see views and waters. Lots of trails to walk. There is no cost to get and do not need to buy tickets. I went on a Friday afternoon and was quite a few people there, so as the weather warms up, I can assume it could get crowded.

I was very surprised to find a spot like this in this area. It's clean and you could definitely spend a few hours hiking here. Like a lot of the other reviews said, it is incredibly easy to get lost as it isn't well marked. It has a significant amount of rocks on a majority of the trails as well. That wasn't an issue for us but you definitely have to watch where you are going. We went on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was pretty full. The trails were not crowded at all and we only passed a few other people.

Different routes make it great.
There are cliffs to scale. We’ve scaled the cliffs numerous times now at this point. There is very small cave you can crawl through. The trails are not well marked, but you can re-orient yourself by using the sounds of the highway. If the sound is getting faint, then you need to go the exact opposite direction. It seems like people panic when they hike, but most of the paths loop around. If follow the loop, you will get back to hearing the loud highway. This is no Cole Range at Fort Benning/Moore, where once you lose your sense of direction, you have to retrace markers and re-orient with a compass. I think we’re simply becoming that domesticated with GPS.

I've been going to the springs for many years. This is an awesome place for walking, hiking and biking every kind of trail you can think of from easy walking to climbing. Always seem to be able to find new trails. Absolutely stunning views. It is also kid and pet friendly.
I would definitely recommend Miller springs to anyone that likes walking or hiking

I visit this park every year when we visit family. This year my kids were old enough to really hike some of the harder trails. The cold snap of 2022 came through as we were hiking up the trail and we froze coming across the spillway! Then we were stopped by a Sheriff's Deputy who was looking for a run away cow, which was the first time I've been stopped by police in reference to a heffer.

Beautiful hike but really easy to get lost. Because the trails are just not marked.

I have hiked here 100's of times, as I live around the corner, gone well over 1000 miles on marked and unmarked trails and places with no trails, and have hit about every square inch of the park. It is fantastic. The best hikes were when I got lost, which used to be easy to do, not any more. If you wanna go adventuring just bring plenty of water, more than you think you will need, especially between May and October. And the littering here is terrible, please carry out what you carry in.

Some of the trails could use better marking. Take a photo of the map at the start. Gold, downhill on green, pink loop, green, white to yellow, turned around headed to green, to fence and up to dark blue, walked mural, back to gold at edge of flats to parking. Great walk!

Excellent trails and views. Some dog droppings so watch your step. Overall I enjoyed the trail. I thought parking would be a pain but plenty of spots were open.

I had an amazing time at Miller Springs nature reserve on New Year’s eve 2021. I’ve been here before but this time I hiked further up along the back boundary of the park way up on top of the cliff. I was barefoot hiking the whole time and ended up going very far down closer to the dam.

At one point I stopped at a lookout point and sat down to write in my journal. After a few minutes I noticed something moving out of my peripheral vision and looked over and it was a scorpion about 2 feet away from me heading my way. Luckily I saw it in time and was able to move it away from me or else it may have stung me.

I walked further down by the dam and found a way to descend onto the lower trails and walk back. At the end of the hike I had walked around 3 miles which was a really solid hike in a beautiful spot. I will definitely come back here again soon!

Breath taking views. Easy and moderate walking/hiking trails. My husband brought me out there for an afternoon together in nature. I was able to take hundreds of amazing photos! And the natural creek bed was the best part

Loved these trails. There is a small "creek" and a large rock beside it to just sit and enjoy the sounds. A few places to scramble, but not a difficult trial. Lots of birds and butterflies this time of year.

It offers a lot of trails, shades (especially now), and creeks. My "go to" hiking place. I have taken my 3 grandkids here several times and they loved it! ❤

Nice area to hike and get away from the city. Plenty of trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Some of the trails are actually a pretty good challenge. There are even places that look like you could scale the rock face of some steep cliffs. You could spend all day taking loops and all of the main trails. We will have to revisit soon.
