Ernie's Fried Chicken

This is a well known local restaurant. They have been open for years. The food is always great and the service is spectacular. The fat ernie is one of famous items this place is known for.

Amazing chicken! Great sides. I was able to feed my family of 4 for $30 and it was a full meal. I'll be back.

A quaint little family owned business! Was greeted with a smile and a very polite man took my order! I had the 3 piece chicken dinner with double order of fries and a jalapeño.
Man that was some fresh juicy crispy skin chicken! Absolutely fantastic chicken and fries!
I will be returning! Highly recommend!

If you've never had a Fat Ernie burrito for breakfast then I assume you hate yourself!!..Love yourself and get some of that fat Ernie deliciousness..I try to love myself twice a week!!

The fat Ernie breakfast burrito plays second fiddle to no one. This burrito with extra cheese is the bomb. It is potato heavy but it works in its favor. Their salsa is also very good and consistent. no too hot. Restaurant takes call in orders and i find it’s the best way to order so you don’t tie up parking spots waiting.

By far the best place for food by far. Love the food love the ladies. They cook like they are feeding their family. They made me feel at home. And almost looked for my bed to sleep off the meal. That Kinda good!!!!

I've been ordering food here at Ernie's Fried Chicken. They have great food! It is great for the whole family to enjoy dining out or have an order thru the phone. They are friendly people. So , come people come by there and enjoy yourself with the family and kids! ❤👍🤗💯

OMG!!!!!!!!!! Once a week I go visit these godly women and the atmosphere is always peaceful & pleasant. The chicken is juicy, not greasy and dee-lish-ous. I know its not spelled that way but, go to ERNIES. Cheaper and better than Bushes & Popeyes.

Food is great. I have been eating here since 2001 salsa is on point burritos are best in the area but have been getting smaller and smaller over the years with rising price. If you want extra salsa it will cost you 25 cents for 5 cents worth per container. Chicken strips and okra are really good.

The breakfast burritos are AWESOME! Very tasty and flavored excellently. Definitely looking forward to trying their fried chicken & other menu items. Service is friendly. Enjoyed it!

I have driven by this place many times. Today I ordered, and if was AWESOME. I had 2 pieces fried chicken. Breast & a Thigh. I will be back, for sure.

If you come to Belton you have to try the Fat Ernie. It’s a staple of Belton. If you know you know. Don’t modify it either. Get it as it comes and ask for the salsa. Because that’s amazing too. Best breakfast burrito around. Don’t let the building scare you off. It’s totally worth it.

My wife took me here several years ago and I haven't stopped coming back,the fat earnie is the best burrito I've ever eaten. The sauce is one of the best I've ever had and they make it in house every single day. My kids love all their food here and the staff is as home style as walking into mama's kitchen and asking whats for supper.

I was very pleased with my food. Unfortunately no combo for the amount of tenders I wanted so it was all separate but that's ok. Food was very good and it was service with a smile. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely love Ernies. Can honestly say I have never had anything but the breakfast burritos and they have never disappointed. Great price for the amount of food you get and it's always filling. The Fat Ernie with extra bacon and their hot sauce is the only way to go! I never go to Bell County without stopping in!

Absolutely love Ernie's! We have been getting the "Fat Ernie" for the last 20 years. Hands down the best breakfast burrito in town. The family that owns the business has owned it for decades and are such great people. Can't say enough about this place.
