River Forest Inn

The Owner is upgrading this hotel very well. Very friendly and educated staff. They worked with me financially during hard times. Out of every Hotel in Temple and around Belton. River Forest Inn was the only one that had empathy and respect. With no questions asked. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities a hotel room needs. The best part yet there's NO bed bugs or cockroaches!! (BUG-FREE!!) YES it's TRUE!! Thank you so much River Forest Inn. I highly recommend this hotel. Location is right next to 35 highway. With restaurants All around close distance.

The motel is a little older but CLEAN!
I enjoyed it because it was more like an apartment to me. The bed was big and comfy.
The bathroom was separated from the bed area which was nice.
I believe the owner is who I spoke with at check in and she was WONDERFUL!. Very nice lady.
Above and beyond customer service.

I REALLY enjoyed staying here it was very clean. There are heat vents in the bathroom which was very nice. It is cheap and comfortable. The bed was comfortable too. Room 110 was the room we stayed it. It had retro tile but cute. The continental breakfast was nice with a good variety. It is set in the owners Thai restaurant. Very cute. She's from the Philippines and has good taste. The staff was very nice and acommedating.

I stayed for almost two weeks and from day one I was met with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The staff which consisted of the owner Sue, her son Zernon, Melissa and Daijah were all great, and the housekeeping ladies Melissa and Zoraida always did an excellent job with my room. The place is tucked right off of IH-35 and it's in close proximity to every thing you would need, plus there is a restaurant on the property as well. The rooms are a little dated, but it's spacious and clean. I enjoyed my time there and would definitely go back. Oh and btw, if you're a traveler that wants a place that's peaceful and quiet to get some good sleep, this is the ideal place for you.

Great family motel. It's quiet and very clean and spacious rooms rather it be standard rooms or their kitchenettes. Friendly staff even the owner and cheap rates for your pets. Nice quiet but in a perfect location near everything you may need even has a small restaurant that is very convenient. Highly recommended in my opinion!!!

Older motel. Updates in progress. Rates were reasonable. Dog friendly. Service was good. Room large and clean. There are a Subway and a Tex Mex restaurant within 1 block. Bed was okay. I did not try the free continental breakfast.

It's always hard to pick a hotel/motel when you are travelling 1-35. I was lucky to pick this one and would recommend it to anybody. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and fresh. The restroom very neat and clean. It has free breakfast and wifi. The cost of the stay very reasonable. I think most importantly is the staff, they were very friendly and cordial. I need to add that the restaurant is marevelous. The food is delicious and the restaurant itself literally feels like you have walked into Thailand. Beautiful.

I stayed here for one night the weekend of 4/24/21, and had a great time. Swam some in the pool, watched law & order SVU, even had pizza delivered. Friendly staff, clean rooms, (even clean a/c). Highly recommend, will be back for the next softball tournament down in temple!

Very nice staff, clean rooms, instant access to IH-35 at a really good price. Not sure you can beat this price for location. Super affordable and is very safe. Good people all around. It's quiet and it has a great Mexican restaurant in the parking lot. I'd stay here again.

Really nice rooms for the price. The staff were extremely courteous and polite. The owner also is a very nice guy and for me to say very nice would be an understatement. I definitely recommend staying at the River Forest Inn.

I love the River Forest Inn. From those who own it & the employees who make it a comfortable place to stay. They're all genuinely good people who care & I can't thank them enough. Love u guys!! I'll be back from Bama soon.

Because the rooms are so awsome, the pillows and comforters are not your ordinary ones you usually see. The atomsphere is quiet and laid back.. Free breakfast in the self serve dining room. I stay there myself to just get away. Its a great place to stay. Cant say enough about the place. Its right off 35 north and south

I have had an absolutely amazing experience here! The owners and employees are the kindest, most helpful and caring I have ever encountered in my 40 years of life. I walked for hours in the blazing sun after my car broke down 300 miles from home and i was, sweaty, stinky, tired, thirsty, and broke and they never once scoffed at me. These peopke are amazing and I will most definitely be back!!!

Grew up in NM where Sopapillas are a staple of New Mexico menus. I also love me some cheesecake. When it was offered as desert I knew I had try it. Could use a bit more filling but was delicious!

Came all the way from Sacramento. Texas I am impressed. So far so good. Love love love The River Forest Inn.

So I'm still here in the hotel room and I'm having an enjoyable experience here at the hotel it's pretty quiet there's nobody here and it's a pretty quiet neighborhood there's not so much noise like there is in other places so I do appreciate it this is my first time laying in the bed and over a month and thank you guys so much for the peace and quiet #ONELOVE

Omg these rooms are insane.. upgraded by none other than James Bernard... The room is so clean you can eat off the floor And the maintenance department is
top notch

My mom and I always stay here when we go to belton, and we go to belton a lot! They are super dog friendly and the staff is so nice. Their breakfast is awesome and everything is super clean and nice. The housekeepers always replace used towels with new ones and the location is not far from the expo center and temple...so plenty of place to eat! Stay here if you go to belton...best deal for your money!

We stayed over night when my son had a horseshow. It's an older motel but the room we stayed in was clean and beds were soft. I would recommend it when your looking for a cheaper place to stay.

I want to thank this hotel for its courtesy and cleanliness. I really liked. I slept 10 nights and I am satisfied. special thanks to the manager for the help! sorry for my bad english.
