Everybody knows that going to a brand new salon can be very scary no matter what the reviews may be. I have been getting my hair done since I was very young, and I have plenty of stories when it comes to bad experiences. Y’all.. this place is outstanding. Megan is an absolute miracle worker, and I don’t doubt for a single second that the other ladies are as well. It’s such a friendly environment the second you walk in, they offer drinks, snacks, their new client paperwork is seriously the best, you can tell from the jump that they care about you and your experience.

Another important detail - THEY WILL TELL YOU IF SOMETHING YOU ARE WANTING IS NOT ACHIEVABLE IN 1 APPOINTMENT. I cannot stress how important this is. A lot of stylists will just do it because that’s what you asked for, because caring about your hair “is not their problem”. If they think it’s going to fry you completely, or turn into a color you may not expect, or any other risk - they will tell you. This 👏 is 👏 important 👏.

I highly recommend Megan as a stylist! First, props to her for handling my thick, long hair, there’s a lot of it. I’ve been going to her for years, and we’ve done a variety of vibrant colors on my money piece, as well as natural balayage. I’m currently in college, which doesn’t allow vibrant colors, so we’ve taken a break from them for now. But no matter what we do, I’m always pleased with the outcome of my hair.

I saw Brittaney for the first time today. I went to see her because my naturally dark hair is starting to gray and I wanted to blend it in instead of covering it up. I also needed the ends of my hair, that had previously been colored, but washed out to match the top of my hair that still had some natural dark color. She listened to me when I explained what I wanted and asked questions to make sure that she understood. She also cut and styled my hair. She did a phenomenal job! I am very happy and will be seeing her again. I highly recommend her. I am attaching before and pictures. My “before” picture doesn’t show the front of my hair that was more gray.

I’ve been going here for about a year now. I see sweet Elle each visit. She’s definitely been one of my favorite hairdressers. She is so welcoming and friendly. She has helped me achieve a lot of hair goals. Here is a transformation that we accomplished last year!

Alter salon is such a refreshing environment! You can tell that the stylists are all friends and genuinely like each other. The decor is bright and fun and the place is spotless. Bre is my stylist and she does an absolutely amazing job! She always takes my ideas and adds so much depth and vibrance to them! Their prices are also great!

Aaron is absolutely amazing! I am so grateful for his services. He is extremely knowledgeable and able to convey the science of his work in layman terms. Also, I could not be happier with my color, my cut and my hair condition. My mom asked me to text how I liked my new hair…I was SO happy and excited though I drove over to her condo to show her! (For the record she LOVED it too!) I cannot stop running my fingers through my hair because of its great condition. Thank you so much Aaron and I so look forward to further learning how to best treat my hair!

I received a hair cut from a family member and they had cut off at least four inches and given me very choppy and obvious layers with thick face framing. I hated it. I have followed Emily on Instagram for a while and instantly reached out to her asking if she could fix it. I was really nervous because I felt like it was unfixable but she was able to evaluate my hair and figure out how she could trim it to something I was more happy with.

I had box dyed my hair twice in one week because it was done wrong by somebody else the first time. Hearing this, Emily offered me an in store condition treatment and a take home leave in treatment. I knew she had my best interests in mind by offering me this because my hair definitely needed some treatment after all the chemicals I used so close together. All of her haircuts were free for a limited time so I only paid about $50 because of the conditioning treatments. Very fair prices in my opinion !

This place is the CUTEST! Elle was so fantastic! She was so kind and amazing!! She transformed my hair to exactly how I imagined and recommended some great products! Can't wait to see her again!

Ari has been doing my hair for several years now and she does a fabulous job every time. Love the balayage she does on my hair as well as darker hair looks she’s done. It’s a bonus that she’s great to talk to and I always enjoy my time in the chair.

my favourite salon in town! Isabel Lajaunje was super amazing and professional. she gave me a lovely bleach and cut and offered snacks and drinks. Definitely book with her if you want a
simple look or even a crazy one cuz she gets the job done! 5 starts for sure

I love going to Alter Salon in Belton, TX! My girl is Brittaney and she always slays when she does my hair! Whether it’s a cut, a color/highlight or just a blow out, she makes me feel 1000% more confident in how I look! She is the sweetest and gives an amazing scalp massage! Her pricing is great and well worth it! I recommend you see her when visiting the salon!

Mikayla does such a great job on my daughter’s hair. My daughter has really curly hair and we always struggle to get it straightened. i went to Mikayla and she got it done perfectly for her ! we definitely will be going back to her 🥰.

I had a wonderful experience getting my hair colored and cut. The stylist was transparent about the cost and provided a cost estimate before starting. The atmosphere was friendly and down to earth! I will recommend the salon to my friends and family for sure!

I went to After for the first time to transform my hair from long and curly to a big chop and straight! I told Ari exactly what I wanted and she made me feel at ease and totally comfortable and in control at the same time! She was amazing and gave me exactly what I was wanting! I knew she would be a good match for me as a fellow swiftie, she was rocking a Red t-shirt! I highly recommend Ari for whatever you’re wanting to get done with your hair she can make it happen!

Brittney R is the best there is she was absolutely amazing . She was very confident and consistent in everything she did. She will absolutely be the person I go to every time I need anything. She did above and beyond when it came to my hair cut and my hair style I’m in complete all over it. Also the hair treatment she did was perfect. I have always had trouble with my hair and she was absolutely perfectly helpful with making me feel like me again definitely recommend everyone to go to her she will make your day!!!!!!!!
