Lone Star Pediatric Dental & Braces - Belton

We were referred there for our first dental appointment beyond just a cleaning and x-rays. The staff was extremely clear about what was expected of us when we arrived, and once we got there for our appointment everyone from the reception desk to the hygienist to the dentist was absolutely amazing! They took the time to explain everything that was being done before it happened, and took the necessary time to keep our anxious patient informed and calm.

The atmosphere and staff were at Lone Star were outstanding. They were able to schedule my daughter in on a whim, took care of a couple issues that day and scheduled follow up care soon after as well. They took the time to explain everything and nothing felt rushed. Definitely recommend!

This dentist is absolutely the best.. they made my daughter very comfortable and talked to her the whole time and let her know what they were doing. Dr. Rachael is truly amazing and I highly recommend them for anyone who wants the best care possible for their child

My little one has a tooth growing out in the wrong direction, so I called for an emergency appt. The staff including the doctor was fast, honest, supportive to her needs. I’ve been coming here for many years, and I still wouldn’t prefer any where else. Thank you

Ms Cindy is amazing. She has been helping my son since we started going some years ago. My son is autistic so we had a hard time finding a dentist that is sweet with him. We found the winner with lone star. Ms Cindy made sure to be his hygienist every time. She has been so good with him that now he is happy with anyone to help him. But she still makes sure to come talk to him. Thank you Ms Cindy for just being you!

Based on our experience today I have to give them 5 stars for the way the Dentist and dental hygienist treated my son and took into consideration how anxious he was to have a tooth extracted. Both of them were phenomenal and made the experience a positive one. My son was able to relax and they kept him comfortable the whole time. Now as far as the check in/ out goes, believe the other reviews. We dealt with one person for both and she was not very friendly at all. Her tone and just the way she spoke to people was as if she was talking down to you. They had called prior and asked me to change the dentist on our insurance and then provide them with a reference number so I did as instructed. Upon arrival I'm asked if I switched dentist on the insurance because they were not seeing that I had even though I called prior to let them know that I did, then when I tried to provide a reference number I was shut down and told they would look into it again. Why ask me to get a reference number as proof that I did something you asked me to do and then shut me down when I try to provide it? So that whole part of our experience is a 1-star but I'm still giving 5-stars solely based on how the medical professionals took care of my child and put his needs and comfort levels first. This is not our regular dentist and we were only here for a procedure. We will be going back to our regular dentist but if we need to have a procedure done again outside of our regular dentist then I'm happy to return here again.

Staff is friendly, and caring with my kids especially when they start getting scared.

This place is GREAT. Everyone there went above and beyond to make sure my son had the best experience. The front desk staff were engaging and so nice! The x ray technician did great with him and Martin was so good at keeping him calm and explaining the cleaning process. Not to mention they gave him so many prizes after the appointment that he felt so proud for being good. Thanks for the awesome experience and being our new dentist!

Front desk wasn’t very personable, hoping she was just having a rough day. The rest of the staff we met with were fantastic, it was busy but you could tell they were working hard to be efficient. Very friendly and informative, happy to have found Lone Star Pediatric Dental. The fact that my teenage son complimented the staff, speaks volumes.

Cindy (I hope I have the right name) has the special touch! My son is very anxious and sensitive to sounds/touch when it comes to his appointments. Up until today, we have not been able to successfully get through a routine appointment without a full on panic attack. Today, she flawlessly addressed his fears and managed to calm him with walking him through every piece of equipment she was going to use. Every time he felt skittish she reassured him there were no tricks or surprises. She even let him “help” so that he felt some control over what is always a “scary” scenario for him. Separately, she always did this great of a job with cleanings for my now 14 year daughter, too. She has been there for a long time and I can see why, she is a miracle worker. I like to believe she helps make Dr. Todd’s job smooth sailing.

The staff and Doctor, in Belton, were amazing!! They treated us with so much kindness and care, especially with this being our first visit and having to have 2 extractions for my daughter. I will be going back and definitely recommending them to all of my family and friends!!

We had such a great experience! I brought three small kids and the technicians and dental assistants were all so great with them. Laine (spelling?) was so patient and explained things so my girls wouldn’t be scared. Without her it would have been a very stressful event.

Always so attentive and kind to my little one they are so sweet to her too, they listen when she talks and reply back, and all staff members are incredibly and extremely patient, and they greet all kids in passing. They also explain and answer any questions I have to the absolute best of their ability. Quick and efficient and very caring of their more smaller patients its an absolute relief to of been recommend a place where they actually care!! The atmosphere is really relax and calm and at least I get those feelings and it's a big plus that they let you ask question after question and they are in no hurry to rush you!! A gem of a find especially for children's dentists!!

My bonus kiddos were unfortunately traumatized by other establishments but here at Lone Star, the staff was sooo very understanding and patient with my kiddos allowing them to take their time to adjust and relax. Thank you guys for your kindness and support!! You all are amazing and so awesome!!
