Mace-O-Matic Transmission Services

It took a while to get my truck back, it drives so much better now. I replaced my worn TH350 with a 700R4. And for all the work done, it was a fair price in my opinion. Call before you drop off your vehicle though, Greg is busy busy busy.

I took my supercharged 2015 Mustang GT with manual transmission to another local shop that had great reviews for a clutch repair. I supplied all new parts and bolts. That shop failed and I found signs of sloppy work. So as a result, I took my car to Mace omatic to take a look at it. My car was looked over and combed through to find any possible issues and install another new clutch at my request. Mace-o-matic did an amazing job. My car feels incredible now. They truly care about what they do. They don't rush their work and make sure it is done right. They even use OEM bolts and not some cheap replacement bolt. They are very exact and precise. That being said, don't expect some quick service. Unless otherwise stated by them, I wouldn't expect a quick repair. That being said, first place I took my car to was very fast and very nice, however the work was anything BUT exact. I'm picky, and this guy, to me, is the best mechanic I've ever seen. You're lucky to have him work on your car. I most certainly will be back anytime there's a job that requires using a lift, otherwise I do it myself.
When reading reviews, one thing to consider is if the person leaving the review knows anything about cars and if they would even be able to know if the car was properly fixed. This is the most honest and capable auto repair shop there is. You cannot be in a hurry though.

These guys are amazing. Michael helped me diagnose my electrical system to correct the fault that caused the code scanner not to read. Then they fixed and serviced my transmission. Very friendly, great work, honest prices. They definitely earned a loyal customer.

One of the best shops around the area. I had my transmission rebuild on my 2008 nissan pathfinder. Excellent service from day one, very honest people, I will highly recommend them if you looking for a great service and a fair price. No issues with my transmission it all!!!

Mack at Maco-O-Matic Transmission is a great down to earth guy. He is the only guy there who does the technical work on your trans. You always know who you are dealing with and the quality control will be there. For Suncoast builds I can say I have used both Mack at Maco-O- Matic and All Star in Marble Falls. These are the only two authorized Suncoast shops in central Texas.

I can honesty say my Mack experience went smoothly and my All Star experience caused me to lose more then a little sleep over about a 6-7 week span. Mack's repair was a one trip fix while my All Star run in required multiple trips, one tow back, and a lot of time on the phone trying to make sure the work I asked to have completed actually happened.

Michael at All Star is the owner and he is not a bad guy but he clearly doesn't get the importance of customer service and how frustrating it is to be in the position they put me it. if you want to have a low stress experience Maco-O-Matic is the way to go.
